    • The Terrific Two, written by Jim Zub.
  • Issue 2

Tropes featured in Infinity Warps:

  • Adaptational Badass:
    • Everyone. In-Universe. Each Composite Character has the combined powers of whichever characters were merged to create them.
    • Downplayed with Diamond Patch, who has the combined powers of Wolverine and Emma Frost, but whose bone claws are covered in Diamond instead of Adamantium.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Kamala Kang is probably the one villainous example of Kamala throughout the Marvel multiverse. Well, sort of. She's not exactly villainous per se, just careless.
  • All There in the Manual: Diamond Patch isn't identified by name in his first appearance.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population:
    • Deathstrique has Mystique's blue skin in her default form.
    • Korvos has Thanos' purple skin.
  • Anthology Comic: Each issue has three different stories, plus a Framing Device sequence as bookends.
  • Berserk Button: People not being appropriately effusive of Doomactus' majesty. He'll either eat their planet, or turn them into Doombots.
  • Composite Character: Basically all of the characters in the comic fall under this trope. They include Observer X (Professor X and The Watcher), Moon Squirrel (Moon Girl and Squirrel Girl), Tippysaur (Tippy-Toe and Devil Dinosaur), Doctor Doomactus (Doctor Doom and Galactus), Green Widow (She-Hulk and Black Widow), Cat's Eye (Hellcat and Hawkeye), Iron Titania (Iron Maiden and Titania), Hot Rocks (The Thing and the Human Torch), Mister Invisible (Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman), Master Mole (Master Mold and Mole Man), Foreverbush Man (Eternity and Forbush Man), Kamala Kang (Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Kang the Conquerer), the Punisher Pack (the Punisher and the Power Pack), Diamond Patch (Emma Frost and Wolverine), Phoenix (Jean Grey and Magneto), Deathstrique (Lady Deathstrike and Mystique), and Fire Belly (Pyro and Toad).
  • Cool Chair: Korvos has Korvak's pre-Michael form chair with slots for the Infinity Gems on the front.
  • Crystal Weapon: Diamond Patch's claws are diamond instead of Adamantium.
  • Disney Death: Deathstrique's encounter with Diamond Patch ends with her being kicked off a roof. Naturally, it didn't keep her down for long.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Moon Squirrel and Tippysaur features the first appearances of the titular characters from Arachknight, Iron Hammer, Soldier Supreme, and Weapon Hex, though Ghost Panther does not make an appearance.
  • Eyepatch of Power: Diamond Patcb an eyepatch at all times. Hence the name.
  • Femme Fatalons: In Deathstrique's default appearance, the only major distinction between her and Mystique is her razor-sharp talon fingers.
  • Large Ham: Finally, Doom has been merged with a being large enough to contain his ego.
  • Mike Nelson, Destroyer of Worlds: Kamala's laissez-faire attidtude towards time travel resulted in the death of her idol... and then the death of her father when she tried to prevent that... and so on.
  • Mundane Utility: Hot Rocks can use his powers to make himself a sauna.
  • No Name Given: Phoenix's sobriquet, if she even has one, isn't given.
  • Not That Kind of Doctor: Doomactus has an actual doctorate.
  • Playing with Fire: Hot Rocks has this courtesy of Human Torch.
  • Red Baron: Korvos is the God Titan.
  • Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: Mister Invisible's got ol' Stretcho's tendency for high-falutin' talk.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: Diamond Patch has Emma's fondness for expensive clothing, and can always be found in an immaculate white suit.
  • Sibling Team: Mister Invisible and Hot Rocks.
  • Telepathy: Diamond Patch does this by cutting his target with his claws.
  • Verbal Tic: Diamond Patch used Emma's "darling" to refer to people in place of Logan's "bub" (though with Logan's habit of leavin' out the "g"s).
  • Weaksauce Weakness: DOOMACTUS HAS NO WEAKNESS!... well, okay, except his planet-sized ego. Moon Girl manages to stop him eating Earth by rigging up her universal translator so he'll only ever hear people praising him.
