The Koopa Family

    Larry Kendrick Koopa
  • Academic Athlete: They do exceptionally well in school and has played three sports i.e. Basketball, Tennis and Soccer.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Despite being the main character, the episode where they shine the most is in "Rumors".
  • The Baby of the Bunch: While not exactly the youngest of Bowser's children as a whole, they are the youngest out of the Koopalings.
  • Best Friend: They get along and hang out with Lemmy and Morton the most. They also develop this with Wendy in "Rumors" and season 2.
  • Big Little Brother: They are slightly taller (5'1) than their older brother Lemmy who is 4'12.
  • Blue Is Heroic: One of their color schemes is light blue and they're one of the main protagonists.
  • Coming-Out Story: Develops this in "Rumors" through the middle of season 2.
  • Mature Younger Sibling: They are known to be the voice of reason along with Iggy and Ludwig.
  • Meaningful Name: Their American middle name "Kendrick" means "meaningful leader" which fits their role of the Koopalings.
  • Non-Human Non-Binary: Larry is a koopa and it is confirmed that they don't identify as being a male or female.
  • Oh, Crap!: Gets this expression after seeing that Bowser Jr. took a picture and airdrops the photo of them cross-dressing in "Rumors".
  • The Protagonist: They have the most screentime and importance than the rest of the cast.
  • Significant Wardrobe Shift: They change their style to look more "girly" during the middle of season two due to being more confident about being nonbinary.

     Morton Ebony Koopa, Jr.
  • A Day in the Limelight: "Morton's A Vampire?"
  • Best Friend: He tends to hang out with Larry and Lemmy the most despite his emo ways.
  • Emo Teen: While not exactly a full on teenager yet (considering that he's 11 1/2 and all) nor does he think his entire life sucks, it has been shown that he's interested in Heavy Metal, spikes, vampires/bats (to the point of having an entire bookshelf dedicated to them), and even goes to goth clubs during his free time.
  • Fat and Skinny: Downplayed, While Morton isn't that pudgy compared to Wendy and Roy, he hangs out with Larry and Lemmy who have a much leaner phisique;
  • Machine Monotone: Due to his emo nature, he tends to talk like this half the time.
  • Meaningful Name: His middle name "Ebony" in the American term is a different shade of black which is understandable given his scaly skin color and dark personality.

    Wendy Omina Koopa
  • Best Friend: She develops this relationship with Larry after they (Larry) announce they're nonbinary in "Rumors" and continues this friendship in season 2.
  • Bully Magnet: Out of all the koopa kids to choose from, she gets bullied at school the most. Her 3 bullies have a Rich Bitch personality with their names being Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. Besides those three main tormentors, everyone else in her school picks on her as well. Because of this, she has no friends at said school.
  • Meaningful Name: Part of her Japanese middle name "Omina" means "beauty, beautiful, and pretty" which fits her appearance.
  • Pink Heroine: She wears pink all the time and is one of the main protagonists of the series.
  • Princesses Prefer Pink: Since Bowser adopted her along with the other Koopalings, you can say that she is a princess and she wears alot of pink hence its also one of her color schemes.
  • Shrinking Violet: She is a very shy koopa who lacks self confidence and is a very easy target to pick on. She tries to subvert this in the season 2 episode, "Toughen Up, Wendy".
  • Smurfette Principle: She is the only female in her family.

    Iggy Akamai Koopa
  • A Day in the Limelight: "Iggy's New Creation."
  • Insufferable Genius: Sometimes. He would often degrade his siblings about how less intelligent they are compared to him.
  • Meaningful Name: His middle name "Akamai" of the Hawaiian language means "intelligent" which makes sense given he's the smartest person in his family.
  • One Head Taller: This happens when he's with all of his siblings. Consider that he's 5'10 at the age of 13, he towers over all of his brothers and sister.
  • The Smart Guy: He's just your typical smart guy who advances in Math and Science.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: The trope speaks for itself.

    Roy Steel Koopa
  • A Day in the Limelight: "The Show Off" and "Cheater, Cheater, Koopa Eater".
  • Cool Shades: He wears his hot pink shades all the time to make himself look cool.
  • Fat Bastard: He is quite plump compared to the other Koopalings and he is also biggest jerk of them all.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Unlike Bowser Jr., he is somewhat redeemable. He has an overall good relationship with all of his brothers, except his dad's biological son, and he still cares for them.
  • Meaningful Name: His middle name "Steel" means "a symbol or embodiment of strength and firmness" which fits his personality.
  • Purple Is Powerful: He wears a whole bunch of purple and he's the strongest Koopaling.
  • Sibling Rivalry: While he gets along with all of his adopted siblings most of the time, he argues with Ludwig the most.
  • Stout Strength: Despite him being overweight, he is the strongest out of Bowser's children.

    Lemmy Petit Koopa
  • A Day in the Limelight: "Off To A Great Art"
  • Best Friend: He hangs out with Larry and Morton the most.
  • Genius Ditz: Downplayed, while not necessarily a ditz by any means, he is skilled in a lot of fields you wouldn't expect in agility and acrobatics. He beated Iggy in a chess game, like Larry, he is good at soccer and basketball and he was the first one between him and Morton to realize that Wendy became Larry's best friend.
  • Keet: A lot more energetic, enthusiastic and hyperactive than the other Koopalings. He's often seeing spinning around like an hurricane.
  • Pint-Sized Kid: He is 4'12 at the age of 14 1/2.
  • Meaningful Name: His French middle name "Petit" means "short" which makes sense due to being the smallest one in his family.
  • Terrible Artist: In "Off To A Great Art", it has been shown that he cannot draw so because of this, he moves on to painting and is actually very talented in it.
  • Vibrant Orange: Tied-in with his Keet trait, due to his orange-colored shell.

    Ludwig Graysen-Von Koopa

It also helps that the six Koopalings sing Jamie Foxx's hit, "Blame It on the Alcohol" by the end of the episode.

    Kamek
  • A Day in the Limelight: "The Chef Competition"

Allies

    Luca Hart

  • Official Couple: He and Ludwig at the end of "Be My Valentine".
