Following the destruction of the talismans, their power went into animals that each one represented.

    In General 
  • Brought Down to Normal: Shendu absorbs the powers of all the other nobles at the end of the arc before losing them himself.
  • Eastern Zodiac: Much like the talismans themselves, the animals that gain the talisman powers are ones representing the Chinese zodiac.
  • Living Macguffin: After the talismans themselves are destroyed at the beginning of season three, each animal holds a power of the talismans, and they are hunted down by the heroes and the Dark Chi Forces.

    Scruffy 
A stray dog who gains the power of immortality.
  • Badass Adorable: He was willing to stand up to Daolon Wong to protect Jade and manages to survive because he has the power of Immortality.
  • Face–Monster Turn: Scruffy ends up being the first heroic character to don an oni mask, turning him into a demon which Tarakudo dubs Spike.
  • From Stray to Pet: Scruffy goes from being a stray dog to being kept by the Chans in a secure place safe from the Dark Chi Forces and officially becoming Jade's pet once his immortality is absorbed by Shendu.

    Haiku 
A monkey who gained the power to shapeshift.
  • Mischief-Making Monkey: Following his gain of shapeshifting, Haiku gets into all sorts of trouble and gets the attention of many to the anger of the Monkey King.

    Mickey 
Found in Mexico, a rat that contained the power of the rat talisman, allowing it to bring motion to the motionless.
  • Mocky Mouse: He is a rat named Mickey, and his power to bring life to the lifeless is used to bring to life a fictional mascot. Did we mention his name is Mickey?

    Sasha 
A tiger with the power of balance (spiritual balance).
  • Literal Split Personality: The power of the tiger talisman means that Sasha is able to split into two. One being a sweet and cuddly tiger and the other being a vicious tiger. She is also able to split others into two.

    Eggbert 
A rooster who had the power of levitation.
  • The Drag-Along: Jackie is forced to bring Egbert along when having to go get the pig talisman noble.
  • Flying Flightless Bird: Well levitating, but still applies as Egbert is a rooster, and is able to levitate himself, which is much like flying. Loses this once Daolon Wong drains him of the magic.

    Mordecai 
A pig who formerly had laser eyes.
  • Housepet Pig: Mordecai was owned by a family of farmers before eventually having to be taken by the Chans for protection. by the end of his episode, he and Eggbert are allowed to stay with the farmers due to Daolon Wong getting both of their powers.
  • Sinister Swine: After Mordecai discovers he has laser eyes, he partners up with Egbert to cause trouble. Fortunately, Jade manages to tame him before he causes too much damage.

    The Snake 
A baby cobra born with the power of invisibility.
  • Baby Of The Bunch: They are the youngest of the talisman nobles, having not even hatched when they gained their talisman powers.
  • No Name Given: They are not given a name even after hatching.

    Bob 
Voiced by: Clancy Brown

A sheep that contained the power of astral projection.


  • Dream Walker: With the power of the sheep talisman, Bob could go into other's dreams, where he is capable of talking.

    Lucky 
A rabbit with super speed.
  • Fearsome Critters of American Folklore: Lucky served as the mascot for a sports team called the Jackalopes and is dressed as one with antlers. He is of course an ordinary rabbit though.
  • Lucky Rabbit's Foot: He is a rabbit named Lucky who is often viewed as good luck by the Jackalopes.
  • Super-Speed: Contains the power of the rabbit talisman, allowing him to move at high speeds.

    Royal Medicine 
A horse with healing powers.
  • Meaningful Name: She is a horse with the power of healing, and she has medicine in her name.

    The Yak 
A yak with the Ox talisman's power of super strength.
  • No Name Given: Even after being found, the yak is not given a name.
  • Tastes Like Friendship: Joins the Chans because he was hungry for Jade's energy bar. Jade even uses this to get the ox to ram straight through the Chi Warrior Enforcers.

    Shendu 
The owner of the talismans, and the noble of the dragon talisman's combustion powers. Tropes for him can be found on The Demon Sorcerers.
