- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Fantasia disappears from the show for most of Season 2.
- The Bus Came Back: In "Crispy Business, Pt. 1," she makes her comeback at the very end, setting her up to be featured more prominently in the second part.

- The Rival: To Beyoncé. In Season 1, she feels that everyone is holding Beyoncé's baby to a higher standard than her own.
