Officially designated YoRHa No. 2 Type B, known as "2B" for short, she is an Android created to fight for the remnants of humanity by repelling Machine Lifeforms left behind in the wake of a devastating alien invasion. Alongside her companion 9S, 2B winds up in the world of NIKKE after their Teleporters suddenly malfunction. 2B is almost emotionlessly stoic and dedicated to her cause, willing to see her mission to protect humanity to the end by any means necessary.

• Expy Coexistence: Rapi is very similar to 2B in personality and story role, causing some amusement between Anis and Neon when they point out how similar they are not only in demeanor but also their voices.
• Gathering Steam: Like Isabel, her Burst gets more powerful the more times it's used.
• Mythology Gag: Her gun being named Virtuous Rifle is a nod to her starting weapon called Virtuous Contract.

Officially designated YoRHa Type A No. 2. A prototype Android from the earlier stages of the war against the Machine Lifeforms, she went rogue and disappeared after she was branded a traitor to the cause under mysterious circumstances. A2 is known for her foul temper and even fouler mouth, but she is nonetheless committed to bringing the Machine Lifeforms to an end on her own terms. Much like her Android compatriots, a Teleporter malfunction causes her to wind up inside a factory in the world of NIKKE, where she teams up with a Product 12 mass-produced Nikke to escape.

• Fanservice Pack: A2 is noticeably bustier in her NIKKE artwork than in her other appearances. She is also curvier than her in-game appearance in Automata, although this is technically compliant with her concept art.
• Hero of Another Story: She never actually meets the Commander, Counters, or even 2B during the event, but she's the one who takes down Gatekeeper.
• Improbable Use of a Weapon: Much like Scarlet, A2 uses her BFS as a "gun", shooting giant Sword Beams that explode on contact.

An unusual Machine Lifeform from the world of NieR: Automata. Unlike others of his kind, Pascal desires peace and lives a pacifist life in a hidden village secluded from the rest of the world with other peaceful Machine Lifeforms.

• The One Guy: Pascal is the first, (and so far only) playable male character, granted this gets a pass mostly because Pascal has a gender-agnostic appearance due to being a Machine Lifeform and is only considered male by sheer technicality.
• Technical Pacifist: Unlike most others of his kind, Pascal hates fighting and will never use force unless an extraordinarily dire circumstance arises. Due to being a playable character in NIKKE, the game skirts around this by having a Small Stubby Machine Lifeform strapped to Pascal's body and armed with a gun that does the actual fighting. Unfortunately, Pascal's animations make it very clear that he is extremely unhappy about this, with his reload animation showing him attempting to reboot his memory to forget the trauma of battle.

• Improbable Use of a Weapon: She's the first "NIKKE" who primarily uses magic power as her weapon.
• Lethal Chef: Emilia and cooking do not mix, a fact that the Commander only discovers after he signs her up for a cooking contest. Her kitchen logic is very much in line with Emma, a fact that the Commander himself mentally acknowledges.

• BFG: Her usual weapon is a giant flail, though being in the world of Nikke has it transformed into a minigun worthy of mowing down Raptures.
• Support Party Member: Rem's abilities are heavily geared toward boosting Rocket Launcher units. Her Life Drain ability passively benefits the two RL units on the team with the highest ATK, and she can also share a large percentage of her ATK stat with RL units. This incidentally gives her optimal synergy with A2, a Rocket Launcher unit who needs persistent healing to be effective.
• Supreme Chef: Unlike the other two, Rem is incredible at cooking, which is perfect for a cooking contest. This is stymied by the fact that the contest requires the team to take turns making individual dishes, putting Emilia and Ram on the backfoot.
