Kid Six

    Flurry Heart 
The princess of the Crystal Empire and daughter to King Shining Armor and Queen Cadance. Flurry longs to have adventures just like her Aunt Twilight and soon gets her wish when she is sent to live in Ponyville for the summer.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Flurry doesn't get along with the other foals in the Crystal Empire because they're snooty around her. She isn't too pleased to hear that three of them were invited to the ball in "Elements Assemble!"
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Her upbringing in the Crystal Empire has put her under a lot of pressure to get a cutie mark. Of the Kid Six, she's the only foal without one.
  • Don't Call Me "Sir": Flurry prefers not to be called "Princess" or "Your highness". She lets it slide around ponies her age, though.
  • The Hero: She's the main protagonist of the story.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Flurry wishes she can go on adventures and hang out with friends like her aunt Twilight.
  • Little Miss Snarker: Although she has a good heart, she can be sassy when the situation calls for it.
  • Rebellious Princess: Flurry dislikes being called a princess and being treated as one.
  • Spoiled Sweet: Flurry has been showered with toys and stuffed animals by her parents as part of her princess life. She trades a free ride to the Crystal Empire Magic Academy for learning about friendship in Ponyville.

    Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake 
Twin siblings and the children of Carrot Cake and Cup Cake. They help their parents run Sugarcube Corner.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Pound Cake can be this from time to time. When Storm Streak rushes into the temple to find Somnambula, Pound quips "And there goes Stormy."
  • Expy: Personality wise, both of them are based off of the Pines twins. In-Universe Pumpkin models herself after Pinkie Pie.
  • Foil: Pound is this to Flurry Heart. Pound takes a cautious, no-nonsense approach in the face of crisis, compared to Flurry Heart who uses her intellect and prioritizes is the safety of others. This puts themselves at each other's throats in Let My Ponies Go!.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Pound is the responsible one while Pumpkin is the foolish one.
  • The Lancer: Pumpkin's happy-go-lucky demeanor provides a balance for Pound. She's also ready, willing and able to protect Flurry Heart.
  • Team Dad: Pound assumes this role for the Kid Six, keeping Pumpkin in check while watching over the younger foals.

    Storm Streak 
The first born son of Rainbow Dash and Thunderhead. Storm Streak idolizes his mother and hopes to be a Wonderbolt like her someday. While brash and mischievous, he always be loyal to his friends just like his mother before him.
  • The Ace: Much like Rainbow Dash, he is one at flying. He got his cutie mark at the age of seven.
  • Affectionate Nickname: "Squirt" and "Champ" from Rainbow Dash and Thunderhead, respectively.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Stormy is the youngest of the Kid Six. As of The Perfect Storm Streak he is 7 and a half years old, while everyone else is 8 or older. This is inverted with his siblings, with him being the oldest of Rainbow and Thunderhead's children.
  • Extremely Protective Child: He flies into a rage when he sees Anatankha throw Rainbow by her tail.
  • Full-Name Ultimatum: Rainbow Dash refers to him by his full name "Storm Nimbostratus Streak" when he screws up.
  • Given Name Reveal: His full name in Let My Ponies Go! is revealed to be Storm Nimbostratus Streak.
  • Keet: Stormy is a hyperactive young colt, prone to raising his voice when excited or scared.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: In Let My Ponies Go! he gets sick of waiting while Flurry and Pound argue over what to do next, and decides to fly back into the temple to rescue Somnambula by himself, forcing the others to go in after him.
  • Like Father, Like Son: Rather Like Mother, Like Son. Storm Streak admits he takes more after his mother due to his admiration of her.
  • Love Floats: Does this while following Somnambula into the temple. Justified; he's a pegasus.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Everypony calls him Stormy.
  • Phrase Catcher: In the form of a Full-Name Ultimatum from Rainbow Dash whenever he gets into trouble: "Storm Nimbostratus Streak!"
  • Post-Kiss Catatonia: After his crush, Somnambula, gives him a friendly kiss on the cheek, he jolts like he has been zapped by electricity while his eyes open as wide as they can before he smiles happily and falls to the ground in a love-dazed shock, proclaiming it the "best day ever".
  • Precocious Crush: Gains one on Somnambula in Let My Ponies Go!
  • Wingding Eyes: As part of his Precocious Crush on Somnambula, he gets hearts in his eyes the moment he lays eyes on her.

    Apple Chip and Annie Smith 
The apple twins are the children of Applejack and Tex who they help support running the farm.
  • Brutal Honesty: In "The Perfect Storm Streak", Stormy tries to make his discovery of the Hourglass of Kronos sound like an accident. Apple Chip sees right through it, telling Stormy he used the hourglass to make him older.
  • Manly Tears: Apple Chip cries these while trying to help Annie cope with the loss of Granny Smith. He is unable to hide them from the rest of the Kid Six and Spike.
  • Never Got to Say Goodbye: Apple Chip was busy studying for a math test while Granny Smith passed away. Once he realized this, Chip is overwhelmed with guilt.
  • Shrinking Violet: Annie Smith. The rest of the Kid Six and Spike help her cope with Granny Smith's death to come out of her shell a bit more.
  • Youthful Freckles: Apple Chip has these between his eyes, and Annie Smith on her cheeks. Unlike Applejack's, their freckles are dark yellow as opposed to white.
