  • The Bartender: Morgan owns a popular bar in the Blue District, which also happens to be one of Blue's favorite hangout spots.
  • Battle Couple: With Cinna. They continued to be in a relationship with one another, and fought together during the Gem War.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: He's a war veteran who fights in the Arena and participates in fusion events, all while wearing a snazzy suit.
  • Blade Below the Shoulder: He can summon long, silver blades that extend past his fingers, and attach themselves to the tops of his arms.
  • Broken Smile: In an official comic based upon Chapter 29: Do Not Look So Dismayed, Morgan gives one of these as he bubbles Cinna's shards.
  • The Confidant: He acted as this towards Mago by offering her advice, listening to her about her relationship troubles with Ti, and keeping her fusion with Ti a secret.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Has pink hair and pink irises.
  • Dance Battler: If a battle reminds him of sparring with Cinna, he begins dancing while he fights.
  • Death by Origin Story: Many of Morgan's actions, as well as a potential cause for a few screws being loose, is the death of his beloved partner Cinna.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: He's quite a few heads taller than Cinna, making him the Huge Guy to her Tiny Girl.
  • Laughing Mad: Morgan has a tendency to smile, laugh, and sing, even in serious/rough situations. It is sometimes unclear as to whether or not this is a scare tactic or a result of having a few screws loose.
    • In Chapter 22: Unprovoked, Morganite is sparring with Hema and gets slammed into the wall. When he gets up, he begins to laugh and smile eerily before bursting into song (known as "The Ballad of Cinders") as he turns up the heat, figuratively and literally, as he continues to fight.
    • As a follow-up to the events of Chapter 22, in Chapter 64: Afraid of the Dark, Morgan has Carnelian hum "The Ballad of Cinders" in order to psych out Hema's part of Hemati.
  • It's All My Fault: Morgan blames himself heavily for Cinna's death, since he accidentally killed her.
  • Parental Substitute: Acts as this to Hema. He offers protection and emotional comfort to him when he's troubled and unhappy.
  • Perpetual Smiler: While he is fully capable of scowling and frowning, his face usually has a charming smile on it.
  • Pink Means Feminine: His hair, eyes, skin, and gem are all colored pink, and Hema notes that he has a very feminine appearance.
  • Playing with Fire: He can completely engulf himself, and his blades, in flames.
  • Power Incontinence: When he's given compliments, especially from White Diamond, it can make him flustered, causing him to smoke up and start fires on his tailcoat.
  • Wreathed in Flames: As a fire elemental, he can cover himself in fire without being injured.

     Rubes

Current Voice: Cricket Leigh

  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: Has these.
  • Chain Pain: When sparring with her fellow Rubies, she pulls out a long chain-whip as her weapon.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Rubes will not hesitate to sharply point out the flaws in someone's logic or story, and will call them out on their bullshit in a very dry manner.
  • Noiseless Walker: Her footsteps are so light, she accidently spooks people whenever she shows up. Even Puff, her romantic partner, isn't safe from a scare.
  • Official Couple: With Puff.
  • The Stoic: Even when she's fighting, her face never so much as flinches.
  • Sweet Tooth: She enjoys sweet, fizzy candies and the sugary, non-alcoholic beverages at Morgan's bar; she even puts a few of these candies into her already sweetened drinks sometimes.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Her spiky, fizzy candies.

     Cinna

Current Voice: Holly Hunter

     Em

  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: Has these.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Her hair is green and she has mostly green eyes.
  • Make Me Wanna Shout: Can emit a powerful sonic screech that can disrupt technology, stun enemies, and destabilize small gems at close range. It was so powerful, that it even managed to knock Hema unconscious at his half height in Chapter 53: According to Plan.
  • Nervous Wreck: Em has a permanent look of worry and fear on her face, and will shake uncontrollably or hyperventilate when she's terrified beyond her wits.

     Kyan

Current Voice: Ashley Johnson

  • Batter Up!: Uses an ebony, metallic-looking bat with a deep-blue gemstone at its end as her weapon. The gemstone on her bat looks very similar to the gem on her back as well.
  • Berserk Button: She instantly becomes enraged if her scarf is taken away, so much so that she'd even fight gems far bigger than her if it meant getting it back.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Has blue hair and blue eyes.
  • Force and Finesse: The force to Red's finesse.
  • Messy Hair: Kyan's hair is so unkempt and tangled that her fingers get snagged when she runs them through it.
  • No Mouth: She has a mouth, but it's often obscured by her scarf.
  • Wild Hair: Kyan lived in the Pink District, which is completely over-run with nature, as a scout for a rebel group. After the Star Stealers were disbanded by Hema and Blue, she took to looking for any abandoned places in the same district to stay in, far from other gems.
  • Youthful Freckles: She has freckles on her cheeks and can't be kept alone in one place for too long, otherwise she'd destroy the place or get into some other sort of trouble.

     Blue Pearl
