Explain your avatar

So, my avatar is of real life samurai legend Miyamoto Musashi,as depicted in the seinen manga series Vagabond. The series follows Musashi throughout his life as he changes from a Blood Knight/Glory Hound young punk with an abusive father and a case of No Social Skills that border on Wild Child level to an enlightened Master Swordsman and Warrior Poet. This particular panel is taken shortly after Musashi starts irrevocably turning the corner from Blood Knight fame seeker to enlightened warrior, shortly after his epic Sword Fight with Yoshioka Seijuro.

This is Rosalina, one of my favorite characters in the Mario universe. She is the the adoptive mother of a race called the Lumas. Her full backstory is told in a storybook you gradually get chapters for in Super Mario Galaxy.

One girl resting her head in the knee bend of another. There's a little weird stuff in addition to that, but that's the base.

My avatar is the first three incarnations of the Doctor from the show Doctor Who. The actors' names were William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, and Jon Pertwee.

Sadly, They died in 1975, 1987, and 1996 respectively. Hartnell died from heart failure while Troughton and Pertwee died from heart attacks. They both died while in America, Troughton in a hotel room before he was to appear at a convention and Pertwee while on vacation.

Currently (and, most likely, for the forseeable future), I'm using one of my two favorite video game protagonists, the eponymous Tiny from Tiny and Big. He simultaneously reminds me of myself and what I wish I were like, and he's awesome.

Most of my avatars of him are either directly from the game itself or the production materials released by Black Pants, but at the moment I'm using a piece of fanart I did a couple weeks back, albeit modified to reflect the fact that this is TVT.

Okay.

In the prologue of Kingdom Hearts II, Roxas (the guy on the left) and his friends go out in search of the Seven Wonders of Twilight Town, one of which includes a doppelganger (the guy on the right), a living shadow that appears to people in a certain part of the town.

After encountering each of these anomalies, Roxas's friends always find some way to write them off as something innocuous.

So in this fancomic, Roxas goes out with a camera to capture all of the Seven Wonders on tape and prove that they're real, and I found this particular panel to be really humorous due to both of their expressions there.

Also, at the end of the comic, Riku beats Roxas up and steals his camera, so he still ends up looking crazy anyways.

My avatar is the Moe Anthropomorphism of the Japanese Cruiser Kitakami from Kantai Collection. She's a Glass Cannon and Disk One Nuke that remains useful late into the game due to her ridiculous damage potential. My title, "Long Lancer", refers to her weapon of choice.

She also has some weird one-sided lesbian relationship with her sister ship, Ooi, but I opt to drop that one out. Mainly because Ooi doesn't have much personality other than being a Psycho Lesbian and Kitakami-sexual.

This is Robbie Reyes, aka the most recent Ghost Rider. I love this Ghost Rider design a lot more then I expected too.

It's the main, unnamed character from Dylan Moran's episode of Little Crackers. Unlike most other characters he plays, this one is genuinely a good person. Also not an alcoholic.

Popple is my favorite character in the Mario & Luigi games. Yes, I like him more than Fawful.

This is Krillin and Cyborg 18, my One True Pairing from the Dragon Ball franchise. 18 is a cyborg not a robot. She also has general human anatomy, allowing her to conceive Marron. Krillin is Goku's best friend and frequently Overshadowed by Awesome, even though the Kienzan can cut through anything. For Krillin, it was Love at First Sight. 18's heart opened to him when he selflessly wished away the bombs so she could live happily with her brother(who he thought was a couple at the time). They end up Happily Married until the end of Dragon Ball GT and share heartwarming and funny moments almost every time they're on the screen together. Oh and Trashy, 18 can't drink alcohol or her cybernetic parts may cause a negative reaction.

This is Bernard Black. He's an alcoholic Irish misanthrope who runs a bookshop. He's played by Dylan Moran, who's my favourite stand up comedian and also a darn good comedic actor.

In this av, Bernard's just about to eat one of the mushrooms growing in his hair.

It's a Sorcerer, an Elite Mook variant of Nobody (a creature with no heart and thus cannot feel emotions) from Kingdom Hearts II. Like other Nobodies, it has a kickass design.

One evening the image of Reshiram and Zekrom celebrating New Year's Day came into my head and wouldn't leave, so I drew it and (crappily) colored it in.

This is Bolbox, the main antagonist of the painfully underrated EVO Search for Eden. He is an enormous, single-celled organism that believes that he is the first human, and has evolved to become one using the Crystals, a tool of evil, to a massive extent. I like to think he's Affably Evil, if Cro-Maine is any indication.

This is Cooler, the brother of Frieza, at least according to the anime. I think he's as much of an interesting villain as Frieza and he looks much more intimidating as well.

It's a logo I made for myself. Nothing much, really, apart from the fact that it's been my SoundCloud icon since about mid-November.
