Sound Ring was a Japanese sound effects company founded in May 1, 1995 by former E&M Planning employees, Michihiro Ito and Takahisa Ishino.

In addition to using the old E&M sound library, they also used sound effects from other studios like Fizz Sound Creation and Hanna-Barbera.

While very prominent during the 90's and 2000's eventually all of the studios employees left the company and its co-founder Takahisa Ishino left the company in October of 2015, as a result of this and Michihiro Ito's inactivity since 2009, it's safe to say, Sound Ring pretty much no longer exists with its sound library in the hands of former employees who went freelance like Kaori Yamada and Ishino.

For the sake of convenience, projects handled by E&M Planning Center, Sato Sound Group and Sound Effect Yokoyama note  will be listed here too.
