A jackpot slot machine
  • Ascended Extra: In-universe example since he was supposed to be a device used for Drinking Bird's dating show before it flopped due to poor ratings. From there, Jack was repurposed as the Game Show Host of Object Connects and calls the shots for the show.

A drinking bird toy, former A-listed celebrity turned reluctant intern. His hotshot ego and desire for fame, fortune, and, most importantly, the limelight sure didn't go away with his outstanding career and status. Drinking Bird's main job on the show is to man the store for contestants to trade their score tokens.

An avocado cross-section
  • Character Blog: Owns a Curious Cat account where he and the rest of the cast can answer questions regarding them and Object Connects. His blog usually provides background information and supplementary material not mentioned in the show.
  • Losing Your Head: Is able to detach his head (pit) and move (roll) independently from his body. He treats this as more of a nuisance than anything useful.
  • Phoneaholic Teenager:
  • Vocal Dissonance: His incredibly high-pitched voice cause the viewers to mistake Avocado for a girl until "Keep An Eye" and enforced by Lantern by calling him "Nice lady" (even after the voice change).
  • Vocal Evolution: Starting with "Keep An Eye", Avocado's voice became low-pitch and more masculine due to several complaints about it being ear-piercing and grating.

A Tomboy scented candle who lights up the competition with her outgoing, sassy attitude with the occasional roughhousing. Underneath that feisty exterior, however, lies someone who deeply cares about her friends, especially Flashlight, and would fiercely protect them at all cost. Not that she would admit it.
  • Jack of All Stats: She has the middle-most stats out of all the contestants.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Her rough attitude hides her soft spot for the people she cares about such as Flashlight.
  • Tomboy:
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Didn't receive much screentime or character development on the show, getting eliminated first probably enforced it.

A cotton candy on a stick
  • The Alliance: In one with The Sleepy Strawberries and The Speedy Dragonfruits alongside her partner, Quince then later Toothbrush.
  • Alliterative Name: Cotton Candy, need we spell it out?
  • Non-Indicative Name: She's the stick that holds the cotton candy than the cotton candy itself, something The Sneezy Oranges lampshaded in "Birthday Dash".
  • Pink Is Feminine: Her "hair" is pink in color and she totally a Valley Girl.

A leather-bound journal
  • Cloudcuckoolanguage: Affluent in the subject, going on off-the-wall tangents regarding her fantasy world and nicknaming people the silliest of things.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: As weird and ditzy as she is, Journal is more than capable of being an effective player, given that you push her in the right direction. This is proven further where according to her stats, she has a perfect 5 stars in skill which makes her one of the most skillful contestants in the game.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: She operates on an entirely different level from the others, living out in her fantasy world where she can perform feats using her "super stickers".
  • The Ditz: The least intelligent of the contestants with a pathetic one out of five stars.
  • Foil: To Lantern. Both are the perpetually happy village idiots of the cast with a multitude of quirks but whereas Lantern is faking it, Journal has a genuine problem.
  • Genki Girl: Journal is the most excited being on Object Connects without a care in the world. It's a shame none of her partners share her enthusiasm.
  • The Nicknamer: She doesn't call anyone by their real name and uses her own silly nicknames instead. For example, her previous partners, Cassette Tape and Walky Talky, were "Tapey" and "Walk-Talk" respectively, The Punchy Mangoes got Troll (Cotton Candy) and Ogre (Quince) due to mistaking them for the creatures and Lantern has "Pizza Shoe-box" (He came up with the name while acting stupid and was addressed as such).
  • Power-Up: She believes this is the case with her super stickers (ordinary stickers her parents got for her at some swap-meet), each with their own special ability. She has five stickers: a star (nocturnal vision), a bowling ball (enhanced strength), a heart (charisma boost), a lightning bolt (increased speed) and a cloud (Flight), all of which obviously do not work.

A ring keychain attached to two keys. He is an overly-helpful person meant to parody the generic nice characters in Object Shows. Alas, his efforts caused more harm than good.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: Keychain swears that for the rest of his existence, he will try his best to help others in need. It's a crippling oath for both him and everyone else to say the least.

An oil lantern who seems to be just your average crazy contestant but there is a method to his madness. You see...he's secretly intelligent, conniving and would do anything to hide this from the others, especially Yogurt Cup. That being said, he's a bit insane, no seriously.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Pretends to be absolutely deranged but nonetheless harmless so everyone is none the wiser of his malicious plans.
  • Big Bad: The main villain of the show unbeknownst to everyone else.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: The crazy and stupid kind (on the surface that is).
  • Cloudcuckoolanguage: Due to saying anything nonsensical that pops into his head, Lantern himself doesn't know what he's talking about like the rest of the cast. Weirdly enough, the only exception is Journal, the true Cloudcuckoolander of Object Connects.
  • Does Not Like Spam: If we were to go by Avocado's official blog, Lantern hates pepperoni on pizza.
  • False Friend: To his "Bestie", Yogurt Cup. Although weirded out by Lantern's antics, Yogurt Cup mostly doesn't mind and is on good terms. Alas, the sentiment is not returned with Lantern finding Yogurt Cup a threat since being his partner and all could potentially blow his cover.
  • Foil: To Journal. Both are the perpetually happy village idiots of the cast with a multitude of quirks but whereas Lantern is faking it, Journal has a genuine problem.
  • Hidden Evil: Lantern is the last person on everyone's mind to be evil, mostly due to his (fake) personality and Cotton Candy and her somewhat ineffective alliance driving attention away from him.
  • Inner Monologue: Lantern frequently does this since he can't exactly say his true thoughts out loud to anybody. He also delves into First-Person Smartass for the same reason.
  • Manipulative Bastard: His forte. He actively sabotages the other teams while they have their backs turn, causing most of them to be up for elimination.
    • One notable example is in "Make A Shot", he took advantage of Key Chain's kindness and tricked the Sneezy Oranges into doing the challenge for the Reversal Tomatoes while he sabotages them, the Fiery Melons and the Happy Berries. Lantern secured his team's victory and got away with putting the three teams up for elimination in one fell swoop.note
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: In spite of being otherwise sane but evil, he can casually defy the laws of gravity, by erratically moving in impossible ways, as would any randomly crazy contestant do in object shows. Most people shrug it off as Achievements in Ignorance.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Much like a certain Mexican food, he merely plays the fool to go under the contestants' radar.
  • Talkative Loon: Around others, he talks up a storm of utter nonsense until they leave. This gives contestants the impression of being borderline mentally handicapped, all according to his plan.
  • Too Quirky to Lose: Exploits this by acting stupid and eccentric so nobody would likely vote for him pre-maturely due to either underestimating or pitying him.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: He has an agenda against Journal since she's basically doing the same schtick as him, only better and actually genuine. Even though Lantern sees everyone in the cast as enemies, he considers her to be the worst because of how she unknowingly puts him in a tight spot whenever they interact. Of course, Journal, the ditzy Genki Girl she is, remains naively unaware of Lantern's one-sided hatred.
  • Thinking Out Loud: Whenever nobody's around, he would declare his evil plans and actions out in the open.
  • Threatening Shark: Has one working for him whose job is to terrorize and kill the Noisy Gooseberries.
  • Word-Salad Humor: He meshes this into his dialogue to mimic Cloudcuckoolanguage but at times, Lantern has trouble coming up with random words on the spot.

A millionaire quince fruit aspiring to become a billionaire.
  • The Alliance: In one with The Sleepy Strawberries and The Speedy Dragonfruits alongside his partner, Cotton Candy.
  • Non-Idle Rich: Even though he gained a vast fortune when his friend died, he still runs a soda-can company to keep rolling in the dough.
  • Passed-Over Inheritance: He received a tidy sum of 999 million dollars from his deceased friend who died of a heart attack. However, this doesn't stop him from trying to win the million dollars to become a billionaire.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He makes sure the employees of his company have fair, reasonable wages. Can't say the same thing for his alliance when he was their leader.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: During the short time he was The Leader of his alliance, Quince commands and berates them every step of the way without lifting a (hypothetical) finger. Understandably, he gets voted off when his bad leadership causes two out of the three teams in the alliance up for elimination in episode 6.

A stamp with a lightning-bolt design. Incredibly whiny and cannot let go of grudges.
  • Arch-Enemies: Not with any of the main characters but Cereal Box, an unseen character who didn't let Stampy into her party. She still harbors animosity towards her to this day.
  • Adaptational Personality Change: Stampy was originally envisioned as a one-dimensional party girl when created for PlanetBucket22's first cancelled object show, Win For The Secret Prize. By the time Object Connects rolls around, she became a stubborn, uncooperative loudmouth who criticized everyone yet yearn for their attention at the same time.
  • Chained Heat: Starting from "Keep an Eye", Stampy handcuffed her leg to Bocce Ball's so the latter would not run off without her.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: The "5$" sign on the right-hand corner of her body is gone as of "Attack of the Reversal Tomatoes". The in-universe reason was that Stampy went to remove it since it was bothering her.
  • Leader Wannabe: Despite her official status as the leader of the Smarty Blueberries plus her hot-shot attitude, it's proven to be ineffective as Bocce Ball clearly doesn't listen and takes the initiative that Stampy cannot follow through.
  • Mythology Gag: Her love of parties was what's left of her previous personality as her only character trait in a cancelled object show of PlanetBucket22's.

A three-layer ice-cream sundae served in a tall glass. She's a princess in her hometown who ditched her royal status to prove to her family that she can take care of herself. Aspires to be a writer someday but is currently undergoing writer's block.
  • Affectionate Nickname: She nicknames her partner, Thing, as "Hobbit" who in turn calls her "Princess". Their relationship is platonic, however.
  • The Alliance: In one with The Punchy Mangoes and The Sleepy Strawberries alongside her partner, Thing.
  • Rebellious Princess: A mild case since she left her hometown to prove to her family
  • Student–Master Team: Has this dynamic with Thing since she asks him to be her writing teacher which also helps that they were on the same team to begin with.
  • Writer's Block:

An electric toothbrush
  • The Alliance: Starting with "Hide and Go Deep", he's in one with The Sleepy Strawberries and The Speedy Dragonfruits alongside his new partner, Cotton Candy.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Toothbrush's deepest desire is to be famous so everyone would like him but judging by his interactions, he better kissed that dream goodbye.
  • The Load: Relies too much on Slimey and his abilities for challenges than do anything worth a damn on his own.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He sees himself as very important, having a big-shot attitude to go along with it. However, like many victims of this trope, he's hopelessly deluded and most likely would never amount to anything.

A vanilla flower with a split personality problem. Normally, she's a kind and sensible individual but when she steps foot into any form of transportation, out emerges The Mighty Vanilla (Mighty for short), a spotlight-hogging, reckless alter-ego hell-bent on driving like there's no tomorrow. Of course Vanilla wants to get rid of Mighty but, unfortunately, it seems that Mighty is here to stay.
  • Ace Pilot: Used to be one until a horrific crash that awakened her split-personality forced her to retire.
  • The Alliance: In one with The Punchy Mangoes and The Speedy Dragonfruits alongside her partner, Crane Flower.
  • Alternate Identity Amnesia: Doesn't remember anything during the times Mighty is in control.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: According to PlanetBucket22's Deviantart page on Vanilla, she gained her split-personality from her time as an air show pilot where her acquired fame and fortune slowly corrupted her into a completely different person, that being Mighty. What made Vanilla came to her senses was when the propeller from her jet plane malfunction, causing the aircraft to crash land in the most devastating way possible. Luckily, she survived that whole ordeal and made a quick recovery in the hospital but it turns out that traumatic incident causes her alter-ego to live on as well, haunting Vanilla in her conscious ever since.
  • Drives Like Crazy: Mighty Vanilla, through and through.
  • Eye Colour Change: Her eyes will turn from standard black to orange, then later red, whenever Mighty is at the wheel.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Mighty has these starting with "Hide And Go Deep".
  • Split Personality: Has an uncontrollable alter-ego called The Mighty Vanilla that awakens when Vanilla steps into any kind of vehicle or aircraft.

  • Hidden Depths: Word of God stated he's an excellent cook and would make breakfast for everyone.
  • Odd Friendship: In contrast to Cassette Tape, he gets along with Journal really well due to her compiling his orders without question and executing them with gusto.

A hoodie-wearing yogurt cup and the silent type. Although he cannot talk, he can be described as a smart and skilled player with little patience. However, in spite of his intelligence, he isn't exactly sure of his teammate's true nature.
  • The Speechless: He is the only character who doesn't speak. All attempts to communicate are futile, especially when partnered with a perceived nutcase (Lantern) and lacking the arms to pantomime. Unsurprisingly, his charisma stat is at a pathetic half-star.
