Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

I came across UsefulNotes.Winter 2011 Anime, which appears to have been blanked a while back. I'm not really sure what to make of it. It looks like maybe it was some sort of aborted attempt at making an index or list of anime, though there don't seem to be any similar pages. Should I go ahead and cutlist it?

Having just watched the first feature-length anime ever, Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors, I created an Anime of the 1940s index to match the other indexes by decade for anime. But I guess I need a mod to make it do indexing, as that tool is no longer available.

Do we allow orphaned YMMV pages? YMMV.Pokemon Hoopa And The Clash Of Ages exists, and it's just one entry. There's no main page.

Here's a headscratcher: does a character have to qualify as The Scrappy in order to qualify as Damsel Scrappy? The names (and one pothole in the trope description) strongly suggest to me that yes, a Damsel Scrappy is necessarily The Scrappy. A strict reading of the text doesn't seem (to my eyes) to indicate this. I'm very confused.
(I'm specifically looking at the Damsel Scrappy entry in One Piece, if that helps.)

giacomouncino nuked the entire Yuri Kuma Arashi page and replaced the content with "this show is fucking shit, no need to say anything more than this."
I've reverted the page to the state before the vandalism; I just want to report this so a mod can kick his ass and prevent further vandalism.

Okay so I added Shimoneta To Iu Gainen Ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu Na Sekai to Political Correctness Gone Mad (figured it fits, since the setting seems like a Puritan's wet dream) and I wanted to know which section it should be placed in (I put it in the first section, but after realizing that one of the characters goals is to abolish the laws with porn, I feel like the other two sections are better suited for it)

This person is making very spammy posts on the forums.

For the YMMV page of Naruto, can someone who can get pass the lock add base breaker? It's because a lot of people think differently about Sarada. What I mean is that some people think Karin is her mother, while others think Sakura is the mother.
Therefore, because of the this debate there should be a trope about base breaking.

Some questionable edits going on, mostly about James.

Manw0name has removed an example from Fullmetal Alchemist twice without an edit reason. Should I put the example back again, or would that be edit warring?

I am wondering, before attacking the namespacing of the remaining wicks, if Queen's Blade wouldn't fit better in the Franchise/ namespace than Anime/.

rjsulll is linking incorrectly to a vast array of trope pages. Instead of CamelCase, the troper is resorting to {{Linking This Way}} (which is reserved for single-word trope/work names and plural potholes only). Additionally, here the troper added first-person natter. And here they contested deliberately a Dethroning Moment entry from another troper (though that was already reverted).
Other than a few Headscratchers and WMG edits, that's all the troper has contributed so far, meaning that much of the edit history is red-flagged.

My Wife Is Wagatsuma San should go in the Manga namespace, there's no anime of it yet. I can move the content there, but what about the anime tab? Any way to delete or hide it for now?

Is Bait-and-Switch Lesbians really a non-YMMV trope? it seems too opinionated to be on a main page like this. It was actually the first entry posted on the page itself, before the trope was even made! :\

Looking at the edit reasons under Pokémon (Anime) and Americans Hate Tingle, I think Cure Ariel Rocks needs help.

Heh. Folders can be a funny thing sometimes; Firefox's search feature didn't pick up the WMG I had just added for Pokémon, and I thought it was a keyboard thing (hitting the apostrophe key on some keyboard settings triggers an accent marker that appears over a letter if the right one is hit). Turned out, it wasn't. Weird.

Working on doing some crosswicking for a manga, Shinozaki-san Ki wo Ota Shika ni! and had a question.
Intially, I wasn't prepared to migrate to its English name, mostly because there isn't an official English name for this series at all yet.
What I was wondering was if it would be permissible to create a redirect using the English translated title (as shown on the trope page), Don't Become an Otaku Shinozaki-san!, which I've been using as a pothole in preparation for a possible migration later.
On the other hand, it occurs to me now that if I do create such a redirect, would it be simpler to just migrate to the translated English title anyway, even if it's not official? (On one manga site I found the series on it does show the title in both Japanese and English, so that could make it official...)

We kind of have an issue here. The Manga/Anime pages are more coherent and have more content than the single Yu-Gi-Oh page, but that's the one linked to on the recap button for Yu-Gi-Oh.
