Four should have gotten more development as a character.
Duo Maxwell is hot as hell, but Trowa Barton was the best overall agent in the series.
Haro is love.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Just curious, but what episode are you on? Has Four died yet, and how did she die?
Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listI'm on episode 26.
Haro/Mokona, y/n?

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Firstly, Bernie! ;____;
Secondly, Char and Bright Noa are absolutely awesome.
Thirdly, what is it with the recent Gundam series having casts composed of angsty robots?
Lastly, Setsuna may be one of the most unintentionally hilarious characters ever made.

Episode 26 huh... *knowing cat smile*
Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listBright/Mirai is the most awesome pairing in all of Gundam.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!I actually like Shiro Amada/Aina Sahalin a bit more. And not just because it's Nobuyuki Hiyama x Kikuko Inoue. More for the Romeo and Juliet INSPACE with Humongous Mecha.

Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listOooh...Makes me want to rush home and get to that episode as fast as possible. I'm on 22, right now.
^Me Too!. Especially what with both of them having similar ideologies and that episode 12 with those kids...

My troper wall's now my troper page, yay!^ It's actually what happens later, ie, hasn't seen what I'm thinking of yet.
Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listI am currently watching The08th MS Team. It's pretty good so far. I've also seen the Mobile Suit Gundam Compilation Movies and...that's it. I need to catch up on my Gundam.

I guess it is.Amuro stares into your soul. (That scene, by the way, is a minute long. He doesn't blink once.)
I've seen a fourth of Mobile Suit Gundam so far, half of Zeta Gundam, all of 0080, G, and SEED, and the first season of Gundam 00. The latter 3 weren't that good, although G Gundam was at least hilariously cheesy.

I haven't seen ZZ, Victory, Stardust Memory, and half of both MS IGLOO and 00.
I clearly need a new hobby.

Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listI've heard pretty bad things about both ZZ and MS Igloo.
Blah blah blah characters... Blah, Blah, Blah series... All i care about in Gundam are... Well, the Gundams. While engaged in ludicrously intricate and hyperenergetically fast space combat, preferably. Sure, Domon and Char will always have a place close to my heart... But it's the Humongous Mecha and the beautifull fight scenes that are the core, crust and filling of the series.
I used to like Deathscythe when i was an Emo Teen, but even back then i realized Heavyarms was cooler. In G-gundam i'm gonna have to say grizzly gundam purely out of Misplaced Nationalism and my favor for anything with An Axe To Grind. Both Seed and Zeta's coolest mecha where in the hands of the villains: Providence and The O where wicked-cool. For 00 i'll have to go for Virtue.
So out of all these mechanical monstrosities, these titans among titans and ridiculously overpowered Super Prototype and Ace Custom models in ths massive series... Which is my favorite?
Probably the original series' Zaku

Bleye knows Sabers. So I'm up to episode 24 of Gundam 00 and Alejandro has a serious Bling-Bling-BANG! obsession. Golden gun, golden space suit, golden mecha that fires golden lasers!!
Also is it me or is this show determined to rub it in that when it looks like somebody just got killed, that yes, they are dead?
Agreed, Duo is made of win.
Anybody else like G Gundam? For be a ridiculously silly over the top fight-fest?
I like G, it's my third favorite Gundam series after Wing and Victory. Also, am I the only one who thinks Gundam Seed was pretty good and doesn't really deserve all the hate it gets?
I was under the impression that Gundam Seed Destiny was the one with a ton of hate directed at it. Something about ruining characters or plots from Gundam Seed.

Neither one was particularly good. Personally, I loathe seed's art style. The way that people are drawn in it just... half the time they don't have noses. It annoys me. It's a decent enough attempt to sorta-kinda remake the original show, but my god the design work is just awful.
Also, destiny got a lot of perfectly justifiable hatred. Dumping poor Shin halfway through to focus on the old cast? What were they thinking?
When in deadly danger, when beset by doubt, run in little circles, wave your arms and shout.Hmm, I think the only ones I'm missing are the V pair, Gundam X (never finished it), and I think there was one more.
The reason the newer series has all of the angsty teens is to draw in the young girl crowd. The Humongous Mecha fights are what draws the boys, the bishie boys draw the girls.
Fight smart, not fair.I really hated the Heavyarms. To the extent that I felt sure it was designed specifically to Uriah Gambit the original Trowa Barton.
The Hyaku Shiki is probably my favourite.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Re: SEED: I dislike the art style, but I don't hate it. My opinion of SEED is that it was kind of boring for the first half, and then the second half of the show popped up and Kira and Athrun kill one another's friends and Athrun destroys the Strike. At this point, the show became a non-stop sequence of pure holyshitthisisawesome.
Personally, my favorite designs in the series are... well, pretty much all the ones in 00. The suits in that series just feel more like badass robots to me for some reason.
I'm trying to decide if I want to watch Gundam 0080. I'm sure Miijhal will say yes, but what do the rest of you think?
I definitely plan on watching 0083, Zeta, ZZ *, and CC.

I guess it is.I liked the first SEED, sure there are a few niggles but overall it's a good show. Plus it was the first one i watched on TV end-to-end since Wing. And i didn't have to deal with Disco guns because i live in canada. HA!
Destiny was mostly terrible, but it had one scene that i loved: Kira using his giant mecha to crash the wedding. That was hilarious, even if it was a part of Cagalli's overall Character Derailment.
The only Gundam series i haven't seen at all is Victory Gundam actually. I'm avoiding it on purpose because i don't want to get depressed about it... Is there a trope for that?
Bleye knows Sabers.
ITT: We discuss all things Gundam.
And we shall first celebrate this thread's existence through the raising of a giant Gundam.
