That really depends on the game itself, especially if it's a game that plays like Monster Hunter. Then again, recent games are kinda easier than retro games in a way, since controls are very polished and smooth, online coop makes it easier for players to work together and beat missions/bosses, and there are tons of items and glitches to exploit.
