Weird dreams

I had a strange dream where I added an example of a trope called Dirty Blonde Hair to Characters.Sailor Moon Usagi Tsukino under Usagi Tsukino's trope list, and I got a notification from some troper with a lefty username who removed the example because of a cleanup thread for Dirty Blonde Hair, as it was being used for characters who just happened to have blonde hair of any hue, instead of the actual hue.

Earlier, when I took a nap, I had a dream about a friend of mine bringing up a Touhou FPS game, and it was apparently the best FPS in the history of forever.

I'm pretty sure there's a Touhou themed Doom mod.

My dream tonight had some weird dystopian sort of thing going on where the protagonist (probably not actually me) traveled to different places, worked with scientists in a cold snowy area, and then moved into a small bunker building in the forest that also gave her cameras and comforts and stuff so she could control the operation. Not sure where any of it was going or what the "plot" was, but maybe I can file these ideas away...

I had a dream last night where I was watching a new sitcom that was advertised as the most diverse show in history. There were indeed all types of people and combinations of people, but the writers' forgot to give them personalities so they all ran on stereotypes.

Interesting plot... everything else just sucked

I watched a Simpsons episode that was a sequel to Arrival where Louise Banks realizes through her newfound foresight that she needs specifically the help of the Simpsons to repair her relationship with Ian Donnelly following Hannah’s death (and Ian is now a troubled alcoholic who was discharged from the military due to his drunken antics and who Homer meets at Moe’s): everyone from the movie was guest star voiced acted.

Keep having dreams where I'm back in school and there's a big exam or presentation I have to give in a class/subject that I've been ignoring and it's D-day and I've done nothing to prepare. I haven't been at school in decades.

I have similar dreams where I'm in school and have no idea where my classes are even though it's like the middle of the school year and I've never shown up anyway so why start now? And I haven't been to school in years, let alone a physical one.

For a second I thought you meant it was actually D-Day as opposed to your presentation being about D-Day and was very confused.

I also constantly have those "back in school and I have a test that I didn't study for or didn't even show up for" despite having been out of school for years.

I graduated from high school in 2018, but I occasionally have similar dreams. Recently, I dreamed that I was thinking about needing to go to high school, which I hadn’t been attending lately for some unknown reason.

I lost count on how many times I dreamed about being once again in school or the university (and the majority of times I realize that I have missed several classes and I was supposed to study for a critical exam).

I dreamed that I went on a dinner party with my dad, my sister, and her boyfriend. My sister and her boyfriend started re-enacting their favorite movie scene with a fake sword that they had for some reason. The I went to the other room and some grandmas, Jevil from Deltarune and Moomintroll from The Moomins were playing a really weird party game that involved eating salad from an ice cream container and saying funny words. Then Moominmamma came to scold Moomintroll for stealing her apron.

@Bluethorn: I have something similar, where I'm back in school, but in my dreams, the problem is that the school's layout is completely different, and I can't find my classes.

I dreamed that I got banned from TV Tropes for… making an Afrikaans translation of the home page. ;-;

In one of my dreams yesterday, some people began singing a song about a smoker to the tune of "Jingle Bells". As I was wandering around a relative's house (I think), I could somehow see the lyrics of the song. But when I couldn’t see them anymore, I made up my own lyrics on the spot, which included a mention of the singing character (not the smoker) being a "quiltist".

Had a dream last night that I was Samantha from Bewitched and I turned some mortal guy who found my first novel, which was meant for only witches and warlocks, into a woman. Later I turned him into a spider for some reason and put him into an ant farm, but he kept escaping. I don't know how the dream ends though... I woke up before it was over...

As for me, I dreamed that the store I work at suddenly became a larger multi-floor building, like the high school I went to, including a gymnasium. And there were suddenly bridges that could double as slides everywhere. Then all of a sudden, I was in this very big room that had a bunch of slides put together in the style of a roller coaster (and for some reason they looked like wooden toy railroad tracks). When the ride ended, I was suddenly watching what looked like a multiplayer game version of Tomb Raider, and two different versions of Lara Croft met up. Then suddenly, a T. rex snuck up on them. The two Lara’s managed to defeat it (though one of them almost died during the fight and she had to use a full med kit).

I'm already forgetting it but I think it had something to do with Dream (the You Tuber) taking over TV Tropes.

I had a dream where my family and I went on a bus-guided tour of... some country in Africa. I honestly can't tell which country it was supposed to be, because at one point we ended up at a place that looked more like a ski resort at a Swedish fell. There were even ski lifts there. (Does an African country have a ski resort, though? I admit I'm a bit ignorant there)

Anyway, we got off the bus, and I noticed that my camera was missing, thinking I'd dropped it at an earlier location that I don't remember. And then I thought I'd lost my cell phone as well, so while my family went on a tour of some building, I went back to the bus to find my phone... only to notice that it suddenly was in a pocket on my pants that I'd never noticed before. Then, when I got off the bus, the bus driver said something that confused me, because it sounded like he was planning to just leave... while everyone still had their stuff on the bus. Well, he drove off anyway. I had no idea if he was going to come back. And then I went into a wardrobe or something, and my brother got me and asked where I'd been and that I'd missed the tour of an amazing mansion. He showed me the way to the mansion through the exit for the tour, where it turned out that the reason it was so amazing was that it was home to several species of monkey who were intelligent enough to run the place on their own. One of them was frying eggs in the kitchen. And when we exited through the main door, we were in a jungle.

Then I'm not sure what happened, because we were in a house that looks a lot like my childhood home. And I was showing my uncle (I think) some interesting antique suitcases we had; One had a camera, one an old vintage record player and one had a rifle.

In my last dream a friend of mine scattered Lucky Star figurines all around my house and I had to find them. I couldn't find Misao and I went nuts. I had to go out to do some errand and when I got back home my mom found her in the meanwhile. And she didn't tell me where she was and I threw a fit because she ruined our game.

Last night, I dreamed that Sonic and Shadow were suddenly characters in my books for some reason.
