During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Try to present these as objectively as possible by presenting any evidence that may support or refute the mitigating factors.
Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?
Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard
Final Verdict?
Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

- Monster: A Novel of Frankenstein: In this retelling of Frankenstein, the original novel's titular character and his libertine co-conspirator are worse in this novel than their original counterparts, from the original novel and real life respectively.
- Victor Frankenstein, a medical student turned necromancer and alchemist, is driven by the belief that as a powerful man he can do whatever he wants. Framing the young apothecary Friedrich Hoffmann for the vicious murder of the latter's fiancée, Johanna Klemmen, resulting in the latter's execution, Frankenstein uses Friedrich's brain to construct a patchwork being using the dark arts, having previously trapped a woman he calls "Sophie" in her own severed head with her teeth and larynx removed. Abandoning Friedrich when his lair is compromised, and having created a magical bond between them, Frankenstein takes advantage of Friedrich's frenzied search for him to abduct hundreds of youth, including young boys and girls. Confronted by Friedrich, Frankenstein eventually reveals that the captives are to be part of a performance involving various acts of torture and murder. Frankenstein also reveals that he and his guests have full control over Friedrich, and allows his female guests to rape the latter to that effect. Pressuring Friedrich into compliance by promising to bring Johanna back, Frankenstein expresses a morbid curiosity whether Johanna will still love Friedrich in his new form.
- The Marquis de Sade is a depraved playwright and novelist who acts as a co-conspirator to Victor Frankenstein. Shortly after he is introduced, the Marquis sexually abuses the head in the jar "Sophie" with Frankenstein's permission. Upon returning, the Marquis expresses disdain for Friedrich's conscience, expressing his intentions to force Friedrich to perform sex acts as part of the performance where hundreds of youth are sexually abused, tortured, and killed in various horrific ways onstage. Initially intending to rape Friedrich's "bride", the Marquis is only prevented by doing so due to Frankenstein's pragmatism.

What is the Work
Instant Death is a light novel series where Yogiri was thrown into a parallel universe full of danger, with no idea of what just happened.
Who is The Ultimate Extermination God and What Has she Done?
The Ultimate Extermination God is the main antagonist of volumes 10 and 11 of Instant Death. She was the top goddess, and the ruler of the multiverse. At some point in time, she became obsessed with death and destruction and developed a bloodlust for it. She had the power to completely erase the multiverse and all the parallel worlds and space-time continuums from existence and non-existence in an instant, including herself, and regenerate herself despite the destruction of all reality.
A nigh-omnipotent psychopathic womanchild of a goddess, she became drunk with power and began erasing worlds one at a time. Eventually, two other gods were sent to stop her. During the battle, many universes were destroyed. Eventually, the two other gods, unable to best her in power, used a special technique to seal her within another universe, the universe the main characters of the story reside in. After the deaths of the gods, her seal was broken.
In Volumes 10 and 11, following her release, her goal is to erase all the other gods in existence for what the council of gods decided to do about her destroying universes, and to also wipe out all life in the universe she was sealed in as an act of revenge, condemning the entire universe and all life in it for the simple fact that it was where the two gods sealed her, claiming they bare the sin through association. Though she could destroy the entire multiverse and space-time along with all the other gods in an instant, she chooses to slowly go around wiping out life at a gradual pace, due to her sadism.
She goes around destroying cities and erasing people from existence while looking for other gods to erase. At the climax of volume 11, she wipes out an entire chain of islands and everyone in it, before confronting the main characters. It is here that the true form of protagonist Yogiri Takatou finally appears. Stopping her, he teleports her to an endless void where his true form resides. Here, he uses his Instant Death ability to its full effect, completely erasing her forever despite her nearly perfect immortality.
Does she have any Mitigating Factors or Freudian Excuse?
None. She was the top goddess of the multiverse and the ruler of it. She soon turned into a Jerkass God and a Psychopathic Womanchild who went around destroying universes and killing because she liked doing so. She had an explosive personality and loved violence and death to an extreme. She believed she could do whatever she wanted because she was all-powerful and nobody could stop her. She was very arrogant and considered herself impossible to kill.
She liked toying with her opponents, always holding back when fighting to drag things out. Despite being able to erase all of reality in an instant, she goes around doing things gradually because she likes it that way. She was very petty, wanting to punish an entire universe for the fact that it was where she was sealed. This shows her as a sadistic, heartless, petty, bratty goddess. in the end, as she's being erased, she turns into a coward, whining that it's unfair she gets erased when she's supposed to be completely immortal and invincible as the one true god and how she never knew there was something more powerful than her or capable of killing her, with the story pointing out how fitting this feeling is since all the people she ever erased felt it was unfair they were being killed by a psychotic god-like her, and how for the first time in her existence, she feels fear, much like her victims did.
Being a goddess does not give her the Blue-and-Orange Morality excuse, as the other gods tried to stop her.
Does she meet the Heinousness Standard?
She has destroyed entire universes and her end goal is to completely erase the universe she was sealed in, erase all the other gods in the multiverse, and continue destroying worlds and universes forever to satisfy her bloodlust. She is one of the most heinous candidates I have ever proposed. The story has her killing many, many people, and it specifically notes high school children. The Instant Death series has some pretty heinous villains. Raiza had his sons terrorize villages and rape and kill many people, but that's nothing compared to what UEG does.
Final Verdict?
Easy yes.
