6/10 Doesn't always work for me, as it can sometimes feel like the character isn't as impressive as the story hypes them up to be. I have the same issue with Badass in Distress. Still, I appreciate it when a character at least attempts to save themselves when captured
The one called "Acid" is dead, but I don't know how to change my username.6/10. Mostly neutral on it, but it has its merits.
Must Have Caffeine "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
5/10. Very neutral on it.
I belong to neither Heaven nor Hell. I am a woman self-possessed.3/10. Extremely cheap way of eliciting sympathy.
Back for the Dead Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
2/10. Depends on the character and context, but it just sets people up for disappointment, really.
5/10 Not terrible as gag, but it's a bit overdone for my tastes.
"We live in a society" - Winston Churchill, probably
5/10. The trope can work, but it's overused.
Spotlight-Stealing Squad Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
6/10. Mostly neutral on it, but it has its merits.
Break the Haughty "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
8/10 It can be really satisfying.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.8/10 Sometimes hilarious and makes a great source of Irony, and even Laser-Guided Karma.
Turtle Island Google Snake Game.
6/10 no much feelings on it, though it is occasionally cool.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."5/10? Haven’t heard of it often.
I belong to neither Heaven nor Hell. I am a woman self-possessed.5/10 No strong feelings. But can make for an interesting situation
"We live in a society" - Winston Churchill, probably
10/10. I honestly like the Card-Carrying Villain-variety of this the most, as they're completely aware that they're evil and show no remorse for it, and they don't even try to hide behind a facade of good intentions.
Reluctant Fanservice Girl "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
0/10. maybe lower - i absolutely despise fanservice. and it's outright creepy when the subject of it finds it uncomfortable

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.5/10. Depends on the context. At best, it can be amusing, and at worst, I'm apathetic about it.
Bloodbath Villain Origin
10/10. For the monsters, it's a great early showcase of what they can do. For the more sympathetic, this is what will get most of the audience to care about them. It's a fantastic flashback trope that I do not see often, which is great.
It's been 3000 years…7/10. A noted Cliché Storm but it works well.
Nothing Is Scarier "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
6/10, but it works especially well when the horror was a lot more in-your-face earlier in the work imo
RPG Mechanics 'Verse "FOR REAL?!?"
11/10 I love giant monsters, especially Godzilla.
Benevolent Abomination Google Snake Game.
