Honestly, I like the obviously fake policies idea so much that I almost wonder if it could be a recurring thing. Or even something perpetuated on the site on Darth Wiki.

On a serious note: for the forumwatch, maybe we could mention the discussion to update the P5 system?

As for Two and a Half Men, it was kind of added as an attempt to differentiate, to add an entry about a series when I primarily cover games. I did state that most of its run was during the 2000s, that's why I gloss over pretty much everything past season eight, so I was only thinking about the start date, not necessarily the end date. I see that it did perform well during that time though, even if not amazingly well, and the work page doesn't have 1000 wicks.

Here are my current criteria for Older/Obscure Work Spotlight:

• Came out/Had most of its run before 2010.

I guess I can go for:

• Came out/Had 3/4ths of its run before 2010.
• Doesn't have over 1000 wicks.
• Doesn't have 10+ seasons if it's a TV show (since chance are that a Long Runner is going to be that popular).

For my prank on the Forumwatch section, I want to take "Forum" a bit more literally. What I mean is that I plan on translating the opening paragraph into Latin.

If you want to, sure. Just remember that some people are sticklers about what really count as Latin, so they may not appreciate using Google Translate for it.

I've been toying with the idea of just creating the worst possible idea for a project thread and pitching it like a real thing. Something stupid and nonsensical, like "anti-semicolon cleanup". But I'm not sure.

Boy, I'd actually love such a cleanup, because I really do find most of the less commonly-used interpunction like semicolons too showy. Otherwise, maybe I will edit my know the contributors entry.

The punctuation cleanup project: all punctuation must be replaced with emojis where possible. Exclamation marks to ❗, question marks to ❓, em dashes to ➖ (the minus emoji)

I recall a certain troper who wanted to add emojis into indexes for no particular reason. The problem with announcing any joke cleanup or initiatives is that it'll fall prey to Poe's Law.

I like the jokey "Know the Contributors" section idea.

Let me give the featured trope a write:

The Bunny Ears Picture Prank. You've probably seen it in a few photos already, wherein someone in the picture or just out of frame surreptitiously holds the V-shaped two fingers over another's head, making the fingers the "bunny ears". It's a simple way for The Prankster to spoil-... ah, enhance a photo. Careful where you do this, though! In the United States, the bunny ears sign is a harmless prank, but it's similar to the Cuckold Horns gesture (using different fingers) and might be seen as an insult.

This was actually a lot harder to write than I thought because I couldn't find many sources on the veracity of the index-middle finger bunny sign being seen as the index-pinky finger sign. I'm wondering if it should be included in the description.

I decided what my joke on the Know the Contributors section will be...and I'm probably going to regret it.

For the genuine April edition:

I feel we already got a contender for Image/Caption of the month. Blah, Blah, Blah got its previous image replaced to one that showed that Tropes Are Flexible, but the icing on the cake is how the caption runs with the page's ongoing self-demonstration instead of just helping get the image's point across.

I settled on plugging the Hilarity Ensues TRS (very April-Foolsy) and the Headscratchers cleanup (because it needs help). Not sure I'll do the joke entry anymore, just because there doesn't seem to be any good way to do it. I'll work on my joke bio, though.
