The Administrivia policy for works created in other languages is Troping Works Created in Other Languages. At the moment, this is focused on works with official translations.
More broadly, TV Tropes has a rule that the latest English translation will normally take priority over the original (some exceptions are listed on the Administrivia page), but many pages and examples still use older titles and character names. This cleanup is to help relieve that.
For policy discussions, see the wiki talk Translation Policy thread.
For pages needing work, see here: Sandbox.English Localization Cleanup

So, about the Rurouni Kenshin articles, Viz's localization of the manga retains the Eastern order of the characters' names (such as Himura Kenshin). While we primarily use Western order (like in the anime's dub) per policy, what do you guys think we should do about the names?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Name order follows the same rules as the names themselves: to use the most recent translation.
I noticed that a lot of Sailor Moon entries on this wiki still refer to the Sailor Guardians as "Sailor Senshi" (an old fan term) or "Sailor Scouts" (an invention of the old dub). I think this might be a lot of work to find and change all the entries to reflect the current translation.
Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!I agree. Should we create a dedicated Sailor Moon cleanup thread?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Ginga e Kickoff!! should be moved to Victory Kickoff!!

Keet cleanupA remake of Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin! just got announced, and will be localized as Like a Dragon: Ishin, so it should probably be moved

"Leftover items still have value!"Speaking of that. https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2022/09/sega-is-dropping-the-yakuza-name-from-now-on
Sega is planning to drop the Yakuza name in the west and are changing it to Like A Dragon (It's Japanese title). Due to this, VideoGame.Yakuza should probably be moved to VideoGame.Like A Dragon since that's going to be the name going forward. (just for the series in general anyway, the individual game titles can remain as is for now).

How do we handle things when an adaptation is localized, but not the original?
I was thinking of making a page for the webtoon I'm No Heroine! (original Korean title: " 남주는 정중히 사양하겠습니다! ", which Google Translate tells me translates to "Namjoo will politely decline!"), an adaptation of the web novel/ebook of the same Korean title. The book itself is not localized as far as I know. Should it be:
- Literature.[Romanized Korean title] , since the book is the original work and has no official translation
- Literature.Im No Heroine, using the localized title of the adaptation
- Webcomic.Im No Heroine, since what I'd really be troping is the adaptation
I saw the request to move Yakuza's pages, but I'd like to see the page itself moved before acting on the moderator-only parts.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSuske en Wiske is Spike and Suzy in the UK or Willy and Wanda in America. Which one should it go?
The UK translation is far more recent.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. So, Parallel World Pharmacy has two spellings for the protagonist's name, Falma (presumably light novel) and Farma (anime) that are used inconsistently across the main page and various subpages. Falma seems to be the preferred spelling on-page but it's inconsistent enough that I'm bringing it up here (and ignoring the namespacing at the moment) to get a consensus.
My troper wallHowcome the Digimon species pages still use the Japanese names first?
Because no one's bothered to change it to English.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.On some Complete Monster entries like Radiguet's on YMMV.Choujin Sentai Jetman, should we change certain titles or quotes to the official English translations (i.e. his title of "Back Dimensional Count" and "Back Dimension" are officially translated as "Reverse Dimension Count" and "Reverse Dimension")?

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Super Sentai is weird because of its history. I think the Shout Factory subs are a legitimate translation, so they should be changed over.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I flipped around the names on Characters.Digimon Fresh Digimon because it's short.
Historia Regum Britanniae was translated in 2008 by Michael A. Faletra as The History of the Kings of Britain. This is the most recent English translation I can find online, but the only redirect is titled History of the Kings of Britain instead.
Now I've done the in-training Digimon. These pages get progressively longer, so does anyone want to help me with the rest?
As mentioned here , Anime.Metal Fight Beyblade to Anime.Beyblade Metal Saga, yes?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSomeone tried to rename it via custom title — or possibly this is the same custom title bug as before.
I submitted a revert request. It's a bit unusual to have a work custom titled to its wikiword's base form, but this will prevent the bug from striking it again.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. And FWIW, when renamed it'll have to be customized to get the colon after Beyblade.
Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G also needs to be renamed (and the colon added) to Anime.Beyblade Shogun Steel
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsSo Saya no Uta just got released on Steam as The Song Of Saya, which means we will have to change the title to that.
One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord. That's been on the list for a while. It's a locked page so I planned on doing the move at some point but I just haven't been feeling up to it yet.
Macron's notes
I'm pretty sure we discussed it before and decided on 2, but no one bothered to move it.
