Huh, I didn't know you could make discussions for character pages. I will do that then. On a related note, and also regarding policy, how many approvals do I need to make a move so it isn't considered unilateral? I know we were going to try and nail down the specifics but then everyone got distracted and forgot.

Personal view:

If we get 3 or more responses and no objections, and there's been a day or two for people to respond, that feels pretty safe to me. 2 responses is fine, but I might wait a little longer. 1 or 0 would encourage me to bump the comment and ensure I'd actively chased feedback before proceeding.

This type of character page change is mostly of interest to those who know the work, so we're not going to get the same level of feedback we do on CSP eligibility, images or trope NREP/NRLEP changes.

How do other folk feel about this?

Ok discussion on the page yielded no results and I've got three yays so I'm gonna go ahead and move them over.

On another note regarding One Piece characters, Ryuma and John are on the One Piece: Thriller Bark Pirates page. Should they stay where they are or be moved to One Piece: Wano and One Piece: Others respectively? I'm not sure if they should be moved or not. Any thoughts?

The Super Mario Bros. Movie character page has passed 200,000 bytes.

Okay so for Scream: Ghostface, The Bailey Family is at 38,000 + bytes. And we discussed that most Ghostfaces even when working with another, should be grouped alone because they act as one. Such as Jill, who is the first to get her own page. Sure she acted with Charlie but she was always scheming as a singular killer with her own designs. But since the Bailey fam is more of a unit and the page is hemoraging, I suggest that if they as a group reach 40, 000 they be grouped on their own page.

I think I’m going to move Moira to X-Men: Orchis. If we’re going to place her somewhere according to her Face–Heel Turn in a story that’s still on going, we might as well be precise.

Ive found a somewhat unusual issue on Five Nights at Freddy's: Seventh Generation

Explaining it is gonna reguire explaining alot of the plot of Ruin so I'll just spoiler tag it all

so throughout the game you have to enter an AR world in order to disable "security nodes". During these segments you will be hounded by a glitchy digital bunny who will call animatronics to your location and interfere with your ability to leave/enter the AR world. Your AI companion, Helpi, refers to this as an "unknown entity" or simply "the entity". At the end of the game, its revealed that the security nodes are part of something called the "M.X.E.S. security program" wich was designed to keep the antagonist trapped.

Now we get to the issue, the Entity's section is currently titled M.X.E.S. and the whole thing is written under the assumption that the Entity is the embodiment of the M.X.E.S. security program. Ok, this idea is not without basis, the Entity's behavior fits if we assume its defending the security nodes, and Helpi mischaracterizing it can be explained since it's abundantly clear that the antagonist was controlling it throughout the game. The problem is the game never makes this connection, in fact, it makes no attempt whatsoever to explain who or what the Entity is. The single line of dialogue that establishes the M.X.E.S. exists doesn't make it sound like an AI or anything either.

In essence this is basically a fan theory being presented as fact.

If it was a little thing I would have just gone ahead and changed it, but since this would basically require rewriting the entire section I figured it deserved discussion

I've gone through the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis pages on my sandbox here^note ignore RE0, I'm still working on it, mostly just cleaning up non-character tropes, though there were a few misused tropes. Posting to see what others think before making the changes.

i saw that thread, as far as i can tell thats for the first six games specifically

Elden Ring related, but I made a sandbox page about the dragons in the series as I think there is plentiful information and details to be explored regarding them. This is also a way for me to cut down the already massive byte size that Elden Ring: Enemies and Bosses currently has, even if it isn't in the "Too Long" warning for now.

The dragon page includes two variants; Lesser and Farum Azula dragons, followed by specific ones like Fortissax, Lansseax, and Placidusax. I've also included the Magma Wyrm and Dragonkin Soldier sheets as they are related to dragons and can provide some additional meat. I've updated the images of Agheel, Fortissax, Lanseaxx, and Placidusax as I felt the original ones didn't really down them properly and weren't of good quality either.

As it stands, the dragon sandbox page is at 40,297 bytes. Any more that I can add, or it does look good enough to be launched?

I didn't find the general redirect cleanup going through LTP, so posting this here.

ComicBook.Ghost DC Comics is a redirect to Characters.Captain Atom. Comic Book.Nightshade was also one and got recently cut for it not fitting Comic Book/. Considering Ghost appeared near-exclusively on Captain Atom comics, a Characters/ redirect wouldn't be useful either. Can I cut the redirect?

Yeah the cleanup was supposed to be for both Marvel and DC, but the DC sides been kind of neglected. You can probably cut both of them tbh.

The Character Page for Black★Rock Shooter seems to have a similar problem that Neptunia used to have, in that every page is split between each adaptation, and every adaptation always includes the same four characters from huke's original drawings — Black★Rock Shooter, Dead Master, Strength, and Black★Gold Saw. This is what we have now ^note  I put notes on each of the characters who appeared in said adaptation :

• Original Anime Characters ^note  Mato Kuroi, Yomi Takanashi, Yuu Koutari, Black★Rock Shooter, Dead Master, Strength, Black★Gold Saw, Saya Irino, Kagari Izuriha, Arata Kohata, Chariot
• Game Characters ^note  "B★RS"/Black★Rock Shooter/Stella, Nana Gray, Primary Support Service (Rothcall, Phobos, Harasho), Apostles (Mii, Mazuma, Shizu, Karli, Nafe, Lilio, Zaha), White★Rock Shooter, The Professor

The pages themselves are fine on their own, but I found it odd that the 4 characters I mentioned have separate character pages covering different incarnations of them instead of one folder covering all of their incarnations, with Black★Rock Shooter in particular having 5 versions of herself (OVA, 2012 anime, THE GAME, Innocent Soul, and Dawn Fall) and that's only the versions I've mentioned. For the better or worse, I think Black★Rock Shooter, Dead Master, Strength and Black★Gold Saw should have a sub-page dedicated to covering the four of them and their incarnations, maybe even a Character-Specific Page for the title character given that she appears in all of them. I think the hypothetical page should be "The Original Quartet" or "huke's Quartet"; it could also include huke's other drawings that were Adapted Out in all subsequent media (like Black★Devil Girl and Black★Matagi).

Sounds better to have a separate page for those characters rather than listing them on every page, yeah
