I mean, I accepted it since the trope still fit well enough. But you have the ability to delete your own videos if that's what you want.

How do you delete your own videos?

There's a gear icon if you visit your "edit videos" tab I think. If not just go to "my videos" and look there.

Also, a heads up, I will be deleting my Alternative Foreign Theme Song video of the French Honoo no Alpen Rose OP because the JP opening is very shoddy/poor quality. I founs a higher quality one and it will be uploaded soon.

I dunno if it's me being a dumbass or TV Tropes being funny, but I checked and for some reason my old video is still up with the low quality?

For "D.W. goes back to free James", how is it a case of Never Say "Die", since it's made clear that James was never in true danger.

And I have to admit: while the "secondary tropes" feature is often useful, I really don't think that video needs to have tropes as generic as Black Bead Eyes, Humanlike Foot Anatomy, and Funny Animal listed either. There's a ton of other Arthur videos with those tropes listed as secondary, all presumably uploaded by the same user.

Could we maybe give descriptive tropes that are mostly made to describe what they got the blanket ban as they're unnecessary if that's what you're trying to say?

I deleted some of my old Lady!! and Hello! Sandybell videos and uploaded subtitled versions of them.

The "Finale" example from Hazbin Hotel on Big Finale Crowd Song is missing any media sources. The correct ones would be Hazbin Hotel and "Hazbin Hotel S1E8 "The Show Must Go On"".

I think the Rick And Morty video example in Hollywood Acid breaks Fair use, as the actual acid part of it that is relevant seems so smalls compared to the whole length of the clip. Thus, since most of it is useless video, it should be either removed or clipped down to the relevant part.

A video can't break "fair use". The video was primarily uploaded for Clip Show, which it demonstrates. It's a lengthy video, but I don't think the illustrative part is too brief for it to be cut.

Technically they kinda can, if we're using basically the entire video. Which we're not.

I get that it works for Clip Show, but I think it ought to be removed for Hollywood Acid as it's only halfway through it becomes relevant. I'm all for uploading a separate video containing the acid part only. I may be wrong, of course, and not know of a policy or two.

I've asked this before, but do the copyright clauses extend to advertisements as well?

The following videos are/contain trope misuse.

• VideoExamples.Crash Bandicoot 4 Its About Time "Elementals & Quantum Masks": Foil is misused as it requires the characters interact to highlight their contrasting traits, they are from alternate continuities so don't.
• VideoExamples.Injustice Gods Among Us: "Superman kills The Joker": Greater-Scope Villain is misused as ATT agreed posthumous examples are instead Villainous Legacy which is already listed under its tropes. GSV should be removed from the secondary tropes, the rest are valid. (Also it has 28 secondary tropes, is that an issue?)
  • Also, the page has a lot of duplicate videos for some reason. Should something be done about that?

Also, is it possible to just edit the tropes listed under the video as opposed to deleting the whole vid?

"Superman Kills the Joker" has recently been quite the pain due to extraneous secondary tropes being added back after being requested for removal. This video in particular has been discussed for the most of this linked page of the "Video Moderations requests" since the top post (I brought it up to remove the subpages listed as its media sources).

Attempted Rape has a video example titled "Drugging Angel Dust" (primary trope is Slipping a Mickey, secondary trope is Attempted Rape), even though Attempted Rape is under No Video Examples, Please!.

Granted, the video is tame, but feedback on whether the secondary trope mention listed should stay or should be removed is needed.

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I submitted some videos and they've been in pending status for over a week. Usually it takes 3/4 days for them to be pass submission. Any word on that?

Well, 3 days ago it was said that there were 11 pages of videos that need reviewing. I don't know the number of that now. I also have a video that's been pending for more than a week (since 26th Feb).

12, but some got approved recently. I'm the only one who really does every page chronologically though, other mods/engineers will often just do which ones they have interest in at the time. And, well... I've been very busy all week.

I go through videos when I can but generally I tackle the requests thread first.
