Funnily enough, nope. With the appropriate Magatama, Demi-fiend can resist any element except Gun (yes, Gun is a separate element in MegaTen) and Almighty. This is because his home game lacks the Gun element entirely, but it's notable during his appearance in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. Then again, you need a very powerful gun to wound him in the first place.
