Which Devil Fruit ability do you think would be the coolest to have?
Overall, I think Sword/Shield is superior in quite a few aspects to Sun/Moon. The graphics still look much better than the 3DS, Galar is a fun region with lots of personality, the Wild Area is fun to explore, improving your Pokémon is now easier than ever, and most of the Gen VIII mons I find just as cool as the ones from Gen VII. That being said, there's some room for improvement in other places, mostly in things like the story (which is more linear and less complex compared Sun/Moon), the characters (some (but certainly not all of) of the characters, even if they were likable or sympathetic, felt a bit flat and unmemorable compared to those of Sun/Moon), and certain aspects of the gameplay. (And I do miss the National Dex.) I figure most of the flaws will be (mostly) ironed out in the games' third versions/sequels, though.

I'm not sure if I'm the best person to ask since I don't have a lot of experience with writing romance. I guess the best thing to do is just have the relationship develop realistically, by having the characters get to know and like each other gradually.
