This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those where previous images were pulled by Image Pickin').
Guidelines
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated by a moderator. with suggestions which will be voted on as normal. Crowners will run for up to 7 days.
- Each crowner will generally contain 12-15 items, but may have up to 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions. Please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, anything with votes at +10 or more and a ratio of at least 2:1 can be added to the page.
- After 5 days, anything with votes at +7 or more and a ratio of at least 2:1 can be added to the page.
- After 7 days, all remaining crowner items with a positive ratio of at least 2:1 will be added, all items below the 2:1 ratio will be rejected, and the crowner will be closed.
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.

It is highly recommended that it goes through the crowner, because it saves us another trip here if someone doesn't like it later on.

I think this one has so many different variations that it should be brought to a thread anyway.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
It only has two, one with a knife and one without one (the third post is just the former but larger). If they don't want to suggest the latter it can go here.

- The Exty Years from Now example doesn't mention the work's release date, making the number appear random.

- Using a drawn image for They Wasted a Perfectly Good Sandwich is weak because the trope comes out of live-action where they don't touch meals to prevent continuity errors.

The narration on the Exty Years from Now suggestion clarifies that it's 5000 years. That makes it pretty easy to figure out that it's from 1987.

^^ But that's an in-universe duration. Nothing tells us that the image was created in 1987 making it rather an example of Exactly Exty Years Ago (which covers round numbers both into past and future).

Well, what do you want from an image? A big ol' banner that shows the release date? You have to draw the line somewhere. 6987 is a pretty random year to just pick; you have to assume most people will get what it means. Especially when the actual trope part, the nice round number, is explicitly pointed out in the text.
Maybe it should be mentioned in the caption when the comic was made.

I'm fine with adding a caption with the year in Exty Years from Now's suggestion. I agree that it can reasonably be inferred that the comic was from 1987 but it can't hurt to confirm that information.
All the 10-and-up suggestions have been added to their respective pages.
Also remember that Viewers Are Geniuses (well, readers in this case).
