One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

I copy-pasted the opening paragraph of the Eleutherophobia page, as well as excerpts from the latest fanfic chapter and video script I wrote, and got Arthur Conan Doyle. Huh.

I put in one of my current drafts, "Kinky Role Playing," and got... David Foster Wallace again. Consistency? (Maybe he would've been a great troper.)

I put in the first paragraph of the TLP description to Company Cameo and got Cory Doctorow. Literally never heard of him until today.
Then I put in the full description and got... David Foster Wallace too. "long, rambling sentences, [and] subtle irony" does sound a bit like me, I guess?

I dumped the draft version of a trope I haven't submitted to TLP yet (Album Interlude Skit) and...also got David Foster Wallace.
I wonder why we all got him?
I know Doctorow! He's a progressive tech blog writer. I follow him on Twitter, which is meaningless because I don't use Twitter and I follow the accounts of many people I hate (cough Ryan Grim cough).

Only now, when I saw my Followed Pages list had Film.Deadpool 2 and Recap.Sponge Bob Square Pants S 1 E 17 Arrgh Rock Bottom at the top of it, did I realize that the Recap page icon is the Film page icon with a pencil on it.

I decided to experiment with I Write Like and wrote a random political rant about stuff that was on my mind. I was told I wrote like Kurt Vonnegut.
...I think that site's results may vary too much for an accurate assessment.
