I'm not a fan of the current quote on Weird West — it's kind of vague and doesn't really illustrate the trope very well. I think that either of these two from the trope's Quotes page would be a good replacement:

It seems unlikely that we'll ever understand the high strangeness which seems to affect many properties across the west and southwest states of the USA. Whatever unknown force is responsible for this activity, it seems content in showing only glimpses of its power, yet completely unwilling to offer any explanation for its actions. I agree with replacing it, though both of those are fairly long, and I'm surprised at what isn't on the quotes page:

^I disagree that either of the two I suggested is particularly long, but I do also think that "Ghost Riders in the Sky" is also a good source for a page quote just on its own merits.

I don't think any of the recommended quotes are too long. Either way, the Ghost Riders in the Sky one has my vote.

The current quote for Refuse to Rescue the Disliked isn't clear on either the "refuse" part or the "dislike" part.

Given that opinion seems to be essentially in consensus, I've updated the quote on Weird West.

Back in July 2021, I Am Not Spock's quote:

IMO an invalid deletion since page quotes are common.

Later, in January 2022, Anddrix added this quote:

I prefer the second one.

Even though the procedure was off, I think the second quote is better.

I'm not really a fan of the current quote in Monster.Call Of Duty. strikes me more as New Age Speech than complete monster.
