yeah I can' wait to see where Allora gale take's the characters next, I hope she updates Dauntless soon, been tow months now, bet she's been very busy at work, last chapter I was surprised what she did to Kallen, it came of to me as being somewhat creepy in a way what with Lukas and co dying her hair black after tying her up in a... disturbing way, but hey she now looks like her Expy from Gundam so a bit hilarious in a way

I am currently consulting my friends on an RP Forum, one of the most heavily frequented ones, about making a Fanfic Version of our RP, located here, and currently on its third title.

Thinking of a kinda-crack story where Kallen's secret isn't that she's a Japanese rebel (she supports the rebels but doesn't actually help them), her secret is that she's one of five warriors chosen through the ages to help keep the way of warfare on the straight and narrow.

Yes, I'm talking about Kallen being secretly The King of Hearts, and her fighting style being similar to THE SCHOOL OF THE UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST.

Questions:

1) So, I am wondering, given the original RP has a rather obvious expy of Mobile Suit Gundam's Lalah Event blatantly done to motivate a certain character...and how Stuffed in the Fridge is generally seen as a bad thing, should I keep the Event in the fanfic, or should I get rid of it?

2) One of the later R2 Knight Giga Fortresses is, well, it looks like a giant, flying lemon. I don't know what I was smoking when I made it, but its obviously gonna be Narm out the wazoo. Should I just give the guy a different mecha, or should I milk the whole "he pilots a giant flying lemon with big ol' arms" joke for all its worth.

3) There was a time when one character went Yandere for another, and then the player whose character was the Yandere's target left the RP for a time. This would make for some awkward reading, as if a character was undergoing Sanity Slippage, and then suddenly he's not. How should I handle this?

1. If you don't like it, don't use it. If it's useful to your story, find a similar event that would replicate the consequences as far as is necessary.

2. The original series included a giant flying orange. Maybe one of Britannia's Knightmare Frame designers has a fruit fetish?

3. What made them sane again? The absence of the other character? To smooth it out, you could establish that character as having weird attachment issues, maybe by having them latch onto someone else at another point in the fic?

Yeah, I agree with you on all three parts. I'll go with doing something different with the Lalah Event.

I'll make the lemon thing an actual joke; the guy whose piloting it is a really bitter, smug Commander Contrarian. Hence, when he asked for a Frame to use to fight in the Second Black Rebellion, Mellura decides, "Oh I'll give you a Frame alright..."

The guy sees it, scowls, and sighs that he'll take what he can get. Cut to an expy of the Guldorin flying out of the base, said Contrarian looking very unamused by the joke, and doubting this thing can actually fight very well. Funny thing is, in this version of the Second Black Rebellion, the dorky looking Gildarn comes closest to defeating the Shinkiro.

Yeah, attachment issues it is. I'll have the first chapter up very soon, as its gonna be Thanksgiving Break soon.

Marq: f_ing hilarious. The 'Upgrades' saga was kind of odd, since I once had an original mecha idea with a similar premise, only more... intense. o.0

Has anyone found any What If? fics where Lelouch is killed before the end, yet the story continues? The only one I know of is a Crossover Fic with Bleach called [https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9183474/1/Lelouch-of-the-Shinigami-Path Lelouch of the Shinigami Path] where the Black Knights are successful in executing Lelouch circa Turn 19 (Rolo arrives too late to save him), Lelouch ends up in Soul Society (he doesn't meet the other Bleach characters for the most part, but the universe is present otherwise, and he meets the other deceased CG characters), and Schneizel ends up becoming 99th Emperor back in the real world.

It might be interesting to see the affairs of the post-Lelouch world instead of, you know, Alice in Wonderland. Not everything was happy in the end. How's Suzaku going to keep up his Zero persona?

Lelouch and Schniezel couldn't be the only Magnificent Bastard/s in the entire world.

Yeah, I've started thinking of a fic where a new group tries to destroy the Britannian Empire to get revenge for all of the atrocities they've committed against the rest of the world. What would it take to cause the United Federation of Nations to dissolve, I wonder? I'm thinking that a bunch of simultaneous attacks on various member-states could make them withdraw from the Federation in order to protect their own countries, since under the charter they're banned from having their own military forces and the Black Knights comprise all of their militaries, and everyone would be bickering over where to move the Black Knights to to protect their people since there has to be a majority vote in order to get the Black Knights to move anywhere on a campaign.

I once wondered... what if Nunnally were to pull a Peggy Sue to the beginning of the series and found her own group of get-shit-done-men, manipulating the situation from the background so that Lelouch isn't driven to despair and burns half the world down? Meanwhile, C.C. is aware of what's going on and is secretly laughing her sizable ass off, gleefully thinking "oh, this is gonna be good..."

Also, something that always bugged me: is a motorized wheelchair really the most advanced motion-assist equipment the Geassverse has? They have far more advanced electronics, robotics and cybernetics than real life - and they seriously don't have medical exoskeletons for disabled people, something real life already has? Just that minor change would have major ramifications: Nunnally mentions at the beginning that she and Lelouch live where they do because she'd have trouble navigating the dorms with her wheelchair. What if that was no longer the case and Nunnally wouldn't need to be fawned-over all the time?

Let's go even further. With Lelouch no longer doting on Nunnally, he becomes even more detached. At the same time, Nunnally becomes more independent due to not wanting to be a burden and in fact no longer needs her eyes for the most part, as she developed extremely acute hearing and even echolocation^note With limitations, of course. With hearing alone, she can tell how many people are hiding in a room via their breathing and can even hear someone behind a gas mask at close range but she's useless in Knightmare combat due to the cockpit walls blocking out everything outside. With echolocation, she can navigate her surroundings without bumping into stuff but she can't differentiate between inanimate objects and people standing still. I'm even thinking she'd actually be oversensitive to extremely loud noise and use small earmuffs when going into noisy places.. And now the kicker: Nunnally is the one who becomes Zero, not Lelouch. Accordingly, she receives a Geass but it's not the same as Lelouch; instead, Nunnally's Geass is Aura Vision that can see people but not solid objects, not even the ground (which unnerves her more than a little).

She can only hear breathing if the person doesn't try to conceal it behind a gas mask and keep their distance. And we shouldn't forget that it only works if the targets stay silent; the instant one of them starts talking, it obscures everyone else's breaths with its volume, to say nothing of other background noise. Her hearing's good but not supernaturally good.

Also, I've been thinking and realized Aura Vision isn't really fitting for her as Geass, as it would pretty much eliminate her only weakness. Rather, it could be a Perception Filter that abuses saccadic masking to turn her invisible to everyone in the area of effect. That is, she's not really invisible; it's just that people are simply incapable of noticing her due to their brains editing her out of their sight. Possible weaknesses include mirrors, cameras and limited range meaning she can be targeted by a sniper just fine.

And we shouldn't forget the fact that although she's still crippled without her exoskeleton, with minor modifications, the exoskeleton can deliver one hell of a kick (which Viletta learns the hard way, getting a broken skull and severe concussion that almost kills her via cranial hemorrhage from just a single high kick to the head). Combine it with her Geass allowing her to get into position without being noticed and she actually has much to learn from Sayoko.

So I saw the Amon: Devilman Apocalypse OVA the other night ^reaction aw, FUCK, and it gave me the idea to do a crossover with Code Geass.

Basically, 1) take the initial plot and characters of Devilman and transplant them into the Code Geass setting, and 2) at some point (likely near the end of R1 or during R2, or during the timeskip if events have gone far enough off the rails) have Lelouch become a Devilman himself as well.

So, anyone think it can work?

First, that reaction got a chuckle out of me.

Second, it might, with good execution, which will happen a lot since Lelouch as Devil Man will likely mean a lot of people die horribly.

.....wrong kind of execution, sorry.

One Strip! One Strip!

I once read a crossover where Lelouch apparently spent his lots of post-Requiem time with online games - specifically, SAO. I personally think he'd like EndWar more; anyone else thinks so?

At first I was like "Hey, this is cool, I get to see Devilman animated!" Then we get a broadcast of when Akira bonded with Amon and became Devilman for the first time, and he rips a bunch of demons apart, and when he gets to a female-ish demon, Devilman rips her boobs off of her/its chest and starts eating them. From the bloody inside part. O.o And then the stuff with Miki happened. T_T And then there were periodic flashbacks to when she was alive, while Akira's Heroic BSoD was so complete that Amon took total control over their body and at one point killed and ATE the Token Mini-Moe. As Amon is doing that, the camera is focused on his feet, where the blood is spilling over and pooling up, and where occasional body parts land. T_T And then Amon threw a subway train through a building. And then sometime later there was a Battle in the Center of the Mind between Amon and Devilman, and Devilman completely and totally whupped Amon's Big Red Devil butt after getting his Heroic Second Wind.

Incidentally, I saw that right before going to bed. Surprisingly had no nightmares, though, that was a nice surprise.

Anyway, back to the fic itself, with a point of clarification: Lelouch would become a Devilman, but not the Devilman. THE Devilman, who fused with and has the power of Amon, is, was, and always will be Akira Fudou. Lelouch would most likely be fused with a weaker demon than Akira was (then again, Akira kind of won the damn lottery when he got Amon), but despite that he'd still get to keep his Geass. Hrm... possibly have Lelouch fuse with a shadow or bat demon and then have him consciously base his transformation on his Zero costume, as something of a nod to Nightmare Of Nunally. .... Jeez that manga was a mindfuck, and not in the fun way like Metal Gear Solid 2.

Hrm... Not sure if I want to have Suzaku be a Devilman.... although that could work as a Tomato in the Mirror sort of thing to explain his Charles Atlas Superpower ^example outran and then spin-kicked a machine-gun turret bitches!, where Suzaku was actually a Devilman all along and never realized. Hrm... possibly it happened around the time he killed his father?

... So yeah, Suzaku as of now, was retroactively a Devilman to begin with. His Devilman form should probably invoke Knight in Shining Armor imagery - Light Is Good when he's being a cool dude, and Light Is Not Good when he's being Douchey MacJerkface ^note drugging Kallen with Refrain is NOT acceptable behavior, Suzaku! <smack>

Anyway, while things in all likelihood would go downhill, and almost definitely not get the pseudo-utopian R2 ending, and a good few named characters probably should get killed off... I don't think it'll go full-on The End of the World as We Know It like in Devilman, either.

@Amita: Violet Devil? I started reading that. Don't know End War, though, so I can't really comment.

As I understand it, Suzaku immediately apologized after he tried to do it, and continued to do so while she was beating the shit out of him (though this apparently left him permanently on her shit list).

That doesn't excuse it, but he at least recognized why it was bad.

One Strip! One Strip!

This is one I recently developed with someone on fanfiction.net. Posted it in cross over section and fanfic ideas thought I post it here as well, The idea was this.

A Code Geass/Fallout Crossover fic:

Now in the past, as development of Sakuradite grew to a halt, the substance called uranium was found, and from it people saw how this substance could be used for various purposes with Sakuradite as well, which led to developments of many different types of weapons. Nuclear weapons being one of them.

Tensions between Britannia, the EU, Japan and the Chinese Federation got to the point, where one side fired the first missile, and from there, a fallout that left the world in the mess that it is in. In the former state of Britannia, lies many factions aiming to restore the country to its former glory.

luckily before the misses went off, Britannia in control of four thought elevators (the ones in their homeland, Antarctica and Africa, final one they took from the EU) evacuated the royal family and the important people, who they considered vital to Britannia as a whole to them, leaving vaults in the homeland as part of an experiment to test social dwarfism, among other ideas as well in each designated vault.

EU has the England and Russia elevators, China the one near Iran, and Japan the final one at Kamine Island). missiles went off and all three superpowers and japan were destroyed, leaving a ruined world behind. Now it has been years since the last missile went off, now the time has come for the remnants of Britannia (who have taken to being called the enclave, though this one I'm not so sure on, as it would be too obvious to choose) decide to go back home, unaware that in their absence, others has risen to claim what they see as theirs.

Along with new threats arising from the other superpowers as well.

The main cast would include Lelouch, Suzaku, C.C, Lone Wanderer, The Courier and another fallout character to balance it out. Code Geass mixed with Fallout 3 and NV setting and characters. Would include most of the dlc from both games. Along with one of Fallout 3's most popular mod if possible (Mothership zeta crew that is).

That was the idea we came up with. Not sure why, but we just like the idea of these two universes mixing, just be interesting I would reckon for Lelouch to meet people like Joshua graham or the villain of lonesome road.

Tried to see if anyone would be interested in taking it up but no luck, since I wouldn't be able to write it well.
