Fixing zero context examples

Do the following examples from Sunspring look like they have enough context?:

• Ate His Gun: H does this, although he does not kill himself due to being distracted by a black hole... in the floor.
• Arc Words: "I don't know what you're talking about", appropriately enough.
• Body Horror: The main character vomits up an eyeball at one point.
• Driven to Suicide: The main character, though it's not entirely clear if he went through with it.
• Dystopia: The first line in the movie sets up the world as this.
  In a future with mass unemployment, young people are forced to sell blood.
• Future Slang: Implied to be why everyone talks so funny.
• Love Triangle: Looks to be Type 4, with C and H2 in a relationship and H interested in H2.
• Most Writers Are Human: Averted. The script was written by a computer.
• Parental Abandonment: Implied.
  I was the one who got on this rock with a child... and I left the other two behind.
• Rich Bitch: Rich Bastard: The other main character.
  We're going to see the money.
• Used Future: The first line in the movie sets up the world as this.
  In a future with mass unemployment, young people are forced to sell blood.
  • Alternately, that may be the plot of the in-universe book Sunspring, which H picks up immediately before saying that line.
• Unusual Euphemism: "Well, I have to go to the skull!", although, it's not clear what it actually means... assuming it actually means anything at all.

None of these sound like they have nearly enough context to me.

Rule of thumb: ignore or cover the trope name. If you can't guess what trope the example would belong to, it's ZCE. Inversly, if the example doesn't have parts of the trope's description and explains how they occur in a work, it's ZCE. Additionally, quotes don't count as example context.

Love Triangle violates Type Labels Are Not Examples.

Also, Used Future's second bullet either has to be it's own thing without referencing the previous bullet or merged with it to not sound like a comment.

Yeah, Kings is something I wish could be filled out but there's kind of not even a bare minimum to work with.

The Body Horror one seems fine.

They can (e.g. for dialogue tropes) but usually are not enough on their own.

Does Legit (2006 TV series) have enough entries with context to be kept? There was a request to move it to Series.Legit 2006 but it looks like a stub to me. I think only I Am Not Weasel and One-Word Title have enough context.

Jerk with a Heart of Gold is low-context but I'd say it (barely) keeps.

Is Games By53xy 83457 salvagable?

Is Yume no Crayon Oukoku salvageable? I recently blanked out a bunch of ZCE from this page, now there are only 9 examples and a few of them still seem like borderline ZCE.

I mean it looks like one or two aren't to me. Which is pretty bad.

It also plagiarizes entire sentences from The Other Wiki, but I assume that's an issue for another thread

Been looking through blogs since a lot of them are ancient stubs (usually 8-10 years), and is The Weird Writings Of Gareth Barsby salvageable? It's got entries like:

Got to Disasterpiece while wick cleaning, and the name seems to fit the page. Only one example was one I didn't instantly comment out, and even that's probably low on context.

Well if it only has one viable example, it should be cutlisted as a stub.

Do these examples from YMMV.Pokemon Black And White look like they have enough context?

• Anvilicious:
  • The message about trying to get along with people whose opinion differs from your own is dropped with all of the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
  • Some people feel that N is this to the "Stop Having Fun" Guys who only see Pokémon as tools.
• Applicability: The themes and dialogue of the games may show parallels to many real-life issues and debates, beyond (obviously) animal rights.

I would say no. It should explain more about how the message is unsubtle (i.e. on-the-nose dialogue, Straw Characters, etc.) and maybe list a few actual possible parallels between the game and the other real-life issues.

If that's the case, I did recommend Characters.God Eater 2. I blanked out a good portion of them since I'm currently going through the game and some don't really justify their definition.

You'll even have some that are just utterly redundant.

I think Anvilicious is okay while Applicability needs explanation of what is wrong.

The Anvilicious trope explains what the issues are, which I feel is the most important part.

I found The G And G Show, which has a whopping 106 ZCEs. 77 of them are just listing a trope name and nothing else (not even a character name or episode number).

LetsPlay.The Gamershack SMP is another questionable one (yes, found while TRS-ing). The creator have not logged in since 2021

E: Alright, took it to the cutlist from what I've seen. Maybe it's too drastic of an action, but we'll see.
