Fixing zero context examples

I'll use to rewrite the example. I'll be sure to paraphrase.

Currently doing something else so I can't really go through it at the moment, but Vampiru has ZCEs of all kinds all over the damn place.

The majority of Pivotal Boss examples are just "[Boss] from [game]."

Oh gods, The Epic is just packed with ZC Es. It just seems to list works that some user wants to call the epic and then leaves without context explaining how it meets the criteria listed at the top of the page. I think, in this case TRS is the best route.

Anyone familiar with Korean literature want to do this?

Work page was made 7 years ago, barely have any tropes (and half of these are ZCE) and have not been updated for a year. This might need to be shaved under the Cut List

The Last Days of American Crime and it's ymmv page have some ZCE's that need looking at.

Minimalistic Cover Art is a minimalistic trope page. Most of the examples just drop a weblink on the page without explaining what the cover is.

All the examples on YMMV.Scott Snyder are ZCEs.

If that's the case, then just cut the page.

I fixed a few ZCEs (and fixed a few other things) on VideoGame.Sonic The Hedgehog CD and Trivia.Sonic The Hedgehog CD since I played that game recently, though I didn't go through the whole pages like I previously did YMMV.Hyrule Warriors Age Of Calamity.

Came across The Olympians and there are ZCEs and empty folders all over the place but I. Am so tired

Not as bad as some other pages but The Neverhood has quite a few ZCEs.

EDIT: And I commented at least the obvious ones out.

BSoD Song has this example:

A ZCE and a hidden work name. Definitely comment that one out.

Queen Adrian just uncommented a bunch of ZCEs on Pandora's Tale with the edit reason "A bunch of tropes were commented out (rather than either being fixed or removed) for poorly-defined or downright bizarre reasons." We already messaged them about it, but can y'all confirm for us that the ZCEs are in fact ZCEs and that commenting them is the typical method of handling such?

Like one of the uncommented examples was literally just

• Cat Girl: Helpers.

They did fix one of them, the only one that had a commented-out note explicitly explaining how the text didn't show it to be an example.

You may want to take them to ATT if this is behavior they have frequently engaged in.

No idea whether they've done this before, I'd just like to get some other people looking at this instead of edit-warring about it (I was the one who commented all those examples in the first place)

Can confirm, those be ZCE.

As an aside, I hate the claim people make that cleanup work isn't "fixing" the problem. Like jeez- why don't you fix it then instead of whining about our work? At least we're doing something to try and improve things. Statements like that drive me up the wall.

I think I'll take them to ATT myself, they have some questionable edits in their history.

This is less "fixing zero context" and more "did I give this enough context":

• Fun with Homophones:
  • Moonsweater: While on their way to a cave where both miners died and a tour group went missing, Lewis makes a joke about running into minor, i.e. children ghosts. Vivi chides him for it, but the word play and the unexpectedness of Lewis making such a joke causes them all to laugh.

I know it's an unfinished work, hence why it's in Darth, but the amount of ZCE in Earth-3682155 is overwhelming in number.

Well, if it can't be saved, it may have to be cut.

Edit: Okay, there are at least three salvageable examples. Decided that any entry that's just the trope name will be pulled outright.
