- Awesome Music: Vangelus provides his own. Of particular note is the "creepy chanting" tune used when the Subtitles get "Zonderized".
- Hilarious in Hindsight
- Long before Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen came out, the early speculation on the Twins, Skids and Mudflap, was that they might end up being ridiculous hillbilly stereotypes. In an aim to subvert this, Vangelus reviewed Skids as though he was a rising rap star named MC Paddington, almost perfectly replicating the character of Skids... though less annoying.
- He jokingly reviewed Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen Dirt Boss as though he was the long lost son of Spoons. Not long after, Dirt Boss was repainted into Revenge of the Fallen Spoons.
- For an April Fools Day joke, Vangelus reviewed a piece of fruit. Guess what the motif of the new Kamen Rider is?
- Memetic Badass: Action Master Elite Omega Spreem!
- Memetic Mutation: INSTRUCTION BOOKLETS ARE FOR PUSSIES.
- Shipping - Animated Blackarachnia is Animated Waspinator's Waifu, and Beast Wars Waspinator his grandfather.. The Subtitles finds all this terrible, partly because it means the desk is infested with wasps and spiders and the Subtitles has to sleep there.
- This Is Your Premise on Drugs: RUMPstick.mp4 comes off as an unhinged take of an old Orson Welles commercial.
- Visual Effects of Awesome:
- Vangelus is handy with video editing software, making frequent Creator Cameos in his own videos and blowing up toy packing with hammers, super powers, and the Hundred-Crack Fist of the North Star.
Vangelus: Yeah, y'all are pussies.- Some of the preludes to the reviews manage some decent choreography, especially since the camera is positioned so that Vangelus' hands are almost always out of frame. Special mention goes to the Colossus review, where he pulls an impressive combination sequence with barely any effects.
- More recently, he's been getting into Visual Effects of Funny, editing around having to redo some steps in a lengthy transformation by just slamming the toy down into vehicle mode, quickly spinning it in an impressive inversion of the Hitchcock scene transition, or removing accessories that otherwise get in the way by "absorbing them into [his] flesh for a moment."
