Lincoln and Lisa have brought Ronnie Anne again, along with Lori and Lana, and there are Thanksgiving decorations lying around. They will be reading A Second Chance.
The story starts with Lincoln excited at school, but cautious of his locker due to a "certain someone" which Ronnie Anne thinks is probably her (and Lisa agrees). He looks at and smells his locker to see if it's booby-trapped, and when some words are misspelled, Lisa takes out her new invention: an AI that corrects spelling and grammar.
Fanfic Lincoln gets punched with a spring-loaded boxing glove and flies into the girls' locker room. A teacher sees him, so he gets detention. At lunch, fanfic Clyde tries to cheer Lincoln up but a boy calls him a peeping tom (and the real Lisa tells us the history of the phrase "peeping tom") and he gets hot soup down his pants. Then, the boys tease him with the "K-I-S-S-I-N-G" rhyme and he retorts with the "lick the bathroom floor" line he said in "Save the Date".
This offends fanfic Ronnie Anne again, and Lincoln goes home to find Lori crying. Fanfic Lincoln apparently doesn't know that Bobby and Ronnie Anne are related, so Lori explains, and says that Bobby broke up with her for making Ronnie Anne cry again, so they will have a double date at Jean Juan's, just like in "Save the Date". By this time, Lincoln and Lisa are getting a bit bored of this as it seems like a reenactment of something that actually happened.
Lisa fast-forwards the story to where things start to become different from the episode, and it picks up at the restaurant, with Lincoln rolling his eyes at Bobby and then he and Ronnie Anne start arguing over whose fault it was. Fanfic Lori gets angry at Lincoln, so he yells at her. Then, he explains to Ronnie Anne why he insulted her... or possibly why he kissed her.
The fanfic Santiagos leave with Bobby angry at Ronnie Anne for her pranks, while fanfic Lori goes to console Lincoln. The real Ronnie Anne is starting to get offended. Fanfic Lori and a sulky Lincoln go home. The other sisters want to cheer him up, but Lori tells them to leave him alone.
The next morning, fanfic Lori convinces Lincoln to let her give him a ride to school, but he's mad and insults her in Vanzilla. They both apologise for their actions, and Lincoln is dropped off at school. At school, Lincoln does not see any sign of Ronnie Anne and feels a little guilty, but he's mostly happy and enjoys the absence of pranks. Those boys from earlier begin to tease him, but Clyde tells him to ignore it. We get a moment from the real Loud sisters about the definition of "invaluable", then the AI claims it's tired despite not being able to be.
Fanfic Lincoln reveals that he is holding a grudge about Ronnie Anne's pranks, which the real Lincoln points out isn't true. Fanfic Ronnie Anne begins to feel guilty and continues to not prank him over the next few days. He bumps into her and she reveals that she's not allowed to go near him, or she'll be grounded. The real Ronnie Anne gets so offended she walks up the stairs.
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's fanfic counterparts have a meeting, where they apologise and talk about Lori and Bobby's embarrassing moments. The real Lincoln comes downstairs with Ronnie Anne not angry anymore but looking a bit teary-eyed. Their fanfic counterparts reveal that their behaviour comes from a desire not to act all mushy like their oldest siblings, then they make a deal not to be mean. They kiss, making Lincoln's sisters, and the AI (whose name is revealed to be Grammy) coo.
The fanfic sisters are ready to take on the bully, but Lincoln reveals that they're cool now. They go inside for ice cream, or, as the story calls it, "frozen threats", and fanfic Lincoln and Ronnie Anne text.
With the story over, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne hug and Lisa turns Grammy off.
