Zero to Chaos is an improv comedy/supernatural/mystery podcast created by WilStin Studios. The Tumblr blog for the podcast can found here.

The series focuses on twin brothers Bedford "Bee" and Caesar "Cee" Abbott living in Aurora Park, a strange town that can't be found if looked for, and where people go when they don't want anyone to find them. Along with a large cast of supporting characters, the Abbott brothers deal with situations ranging from everyday problems to far more sinister things happening within the town...

Zero to Chaos contains examples of:

  • Always Identical Twins: Subverted since we don't actually know yet if Bee and Cee are identical or fraternal twins yet, as they look similar enough where either one is a possibility. As far as their personalities go they're Polar Opposite Twins though.
  • And I Must Scream: Nihili, as a mist spirit, doesn't have limbs.
  • Back-Alley Doctor: Buzzy, a black market organ salesman/surgeon who keeps one of his apartment's bedrooms sterilized to use as a makeshift operating room.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Bee is an oddball for sure, but he's REALLY good at his job at the suicide prevention hotline. He's never lost a single caller.
    • Jin qualifies too, with his personality and also the fact he's a wealthy and powerful mafia boss.
  • Childhood Friends: Bee and Will have known each other since they were little kids, however the latter moved away during high school.
  • City of Adventure: Aurora Park.
  • Closed Circle: This is apparently how Aurora Park is supposed to work. When Will is somehow able to call Bee from outside of town, everyone finds this incredibly abnormal. According to Nihili, the cause may be interference by something or someone.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Both Bee and Jin.
  • Dream Walker: Nihili says that Omni has this ability.
  • Dysfunction Junction: And how! Basically every character has some sort of serious issues they're working through.
  • Embarrassing First Name: Presumably why Bedford and Caesar instead go by Bee and Cee respectfully.
  • Fun Personified: Bee.
  • Grand Theft Me: Through the use of a Ouija board, a ghost called Nihili takes possession of Bee's body throughout most of episode 4.
  • Hikikomori: Buzzy is agoraphobic and doesn't ever leave his apartment. As a result the neighbors often try to check on him to see if he's dead or not, which severely annoys him.
  • Nervous Wreck: Will, who in addition to being timid and skittish is also kind of a doormat.
  • Noodle Incident: Whatever happened last time Bee used the Ouija board before episode 4. All he tells Will about it is they needed an exorcist afterward.
  • Nouveau Riche: Jin, who's mansion has forty bedrooms.
Apollo: I don't care how rich you are, no one needs that many bedrooms!
  • Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: Buzzy, as demonstrated in episode 3 when he hires Bee to grocery shop for him.
Buzzy: Go ahead and get whatever's on the list there and the rest is your's.
Bee: Buzzy. Buzzster. Buzz-Buzz. HOW MUCH FUCKING MONEY DO YOU THINK GROCERIES ARE?!
    Buzzy: Not much.
Bee: How much money is in this stack?!
Buzzy: Uh, I counted out... 20k?
Bee: Why did you give me 20k for groceries?!
  • Sense Freak: Nihili while possessing Bee in episode 4, since he's normally a ghost and doesn't have a body or the ability to do things like eat.
  • Ship Tease: In episode 1, Bee insists that Cee has a crush on Tyrone. In episode 3, Bee confesses to Buzzy that he has a crush on Will.
  • Sinister Surveillance: Nihili seems to be wrapped up in some sort of conspiracy involving this and warns Will that he's being watched.
Nihili: Spirits watch over this town. They keep it safe. But, watching over this town means that... I might be watched. By some people who I don't want to watch me. I don't want them to know how much I know.
  • Straight Gay: A large amount of the characters are homosexual but you'd have no way of knowing until their attraction towards other characters of the same gender is brought up.
  • Team Pet: Polybius the "cat" (actually a ferret).
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Nihili's is apparently chocolate pudding, given how he demands it from Will after possessing Bee.
  • Town with a Dark Secret: There's still a lot of things we don't know about Aurora Park, how it operates and why it's so strange.
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: Episode 4 introduces us to Nihili, a man from Victorian England who died and became a mist spirit. Not all spirits are dead people though, as some are born spirits, such as Nihili's prism spirit "not boyfriend" Omni.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: The Abbott brothers.
  • Weirdness Magnet: There are a lot of bizarre things in Aurora Park, like a store that only sells exactly what you need and nothing else. In episode 1, it's a pet store with only a single ferret for sale, even though Cee is looking for a cat.
