Basic Trope: A sleazy, and morally-slippery character.

  • Straight: Tommy Sharpe is a sleazy, crass, and unsophisticated Corrupt Corporate Executive of MegaCorp Sharpe Industries; Each conversation with him usually has him unconsciously scowl or leer at the person he's talking to, liberally peppering each sentence out of his mouth with curses and obscene remarks, occasionally scratching himself in his junk, wiping the sweat off his brow, or licking his lips lecherously, but if it were anyone he considered attractive, from voluptuous women, to well-built men, to even children, he'd be looking at them with some kind of animalistic, vicious and lustful gaze. After a fan meet-and-greet with him, Lovable Nerd Pete Perkins is often Scrubbing Off the Trauma from just speaking to him, if that was the only thing he did to Pete. But whenever someone like the local Barbaric Bully Flash Young threatens to expose Tommy to the latter's potential business partner (and the former's older sister) Hillary Young, Tommy folds like a wet paper towel, often bribing Flash with anything to not get those secrets leaked and Hillary cutting the deal, practically being reduced to pitiful begging if it means Flash doesn't leak the secrets.
  • Exaggerated: Everything Tommy does has a disgusting, slimy undertone beneath them, and he'd pretty much be The Pig-Pen if it weren't for his Fiction 500 wealth. In fact, he's raped at least 50 people, all of them consisting of men, women, and children. The moment someone even shows a backbone, Tommy reveals his complete and utter lack thereof.
  • Downplayed: Tommy, while a genuinely good person, does tend to be a bit of a Mr. Vice Guy.
  • Justified: Tommy wasn't always like this. He's only adopted this kind of mentality because that's what got him to the top in the first place.
  • Inverted: Bryce Baxter, Tommy's former business partner (before having retired from the white collar industry in favor of teaching at Midtown High), is a chivalrous gentleman who wouldn't back down from any fight (unless it's for an idiotic reason, and even then if push comes to shove, he'll still whoop the aggressor's ass), and has perfect and composed manners on top of that.
  • Subverted: Tommy is stated to be this, but it's an Informed Flaw because he's actually not as crass as he is.
  • Double Subverted: That is, in public. In private, Tommy jacks off to pictures of the victims he raped.
  • Parodied: Tommy is a Blob Monster in a suit.
  • Zig-Zagged: Tommy's cleanliness and moral fiber tends to be Depending on the Writer.
  • Averted: Tommy is a pretty generic man, as he may not be as perfect as someone like Bryce, but he's definitely not a complete scumbag.
  • Enforced: The creators haven't made a designated Hate Sink or Very Punchable Man yet, and Tommy still feels a little unfinished... Hmmm, maybe combine Tommy's corporate background with a jerkish personality?
  • Lampshaded: Pete remarks, "Y'know, after that meet-and-greet with Tommy... I feel like taking a shower. Or even a bubble bath."
  • Invoked: Tommy is told that a strong moral fiber is a poor man's quality, and he should be absolutely pragmatic and scummy as physically possible to even have a chance at making it to the top.
  • Exploited: After Pete gets raped by Tommy, this pretty much gives the former evidence and a weapon to stop the latter's reign of terror by leaking out a five hundred page word document detailing every last thing Tommy did, effectively ruining his reputation. There's also years of therapy to go through, but it's a necessary sacrifice to take Tommy down.
  • Defied: Tommy adamantly refuses to act like a sleazebag, instead insisting on being a more business focused and morally ethical corporate executive.
  • Discussed: The Four-Man Band of Pete, Flash, and Those Two Guys Eddie and Harry discuss how much of a slimeball Tommy is.
    Pete: (See Lampshaded)
Flash: Ew, I know right? That bastard's a real fuckin' prick. I'm willin' t'bet that he probably played a little grab-ass wit'cha. God knows I'd bash that fucker's face in if he even breathes the same air as me.
Eddie: Wow, are all businessmen like this? What a bunch of pigs!
Harry: Hey, don't say that every businessmen are like Tommy. I mean, look at Flash's sister Hillary, she's the very epitome of awesome. And look at my dad Norbert! He's a pretty cool guy, even in private. Well, I hope Norbert's not as bad as Tommy... Is he?
  • Conversed: Alice and Bob are grossed out by Tommy.
Alice: Sheesh, whoever wrote this guy really did a good job of making the perfect Hate Sink.
Bob: Yeah, that guy's creepy as shit.
  • Implied: Tommy tends to be a little lax and carefree, though his Smug Smiler tendencies may bring some kind of suspicion around, as if he's done something heinous behind closed doors. Like a little bit of... THAT.
  • Deconstructed: Tommy can only afford to act slimy and disgusting in public for so long; When faced with business deals, he cleans up his act so much that it's hard to believe he's done some horrific things behind closed doors. He's perfectly capable of hiding his Raging Stiffie when conducting a meeting with Hillary, and he can easily put up a Mask of Sanity to hide away his absolutely filthy personality.
  • Reconstructed: But of course, putting up a Mask of Sanity means that it's gonna come off one way or another. After Hillary isn't convinced of Tommy's deals, he resorts to Slipping a Mickey, and if it weren't for her younger brother Flash barging in uninvited, pouncing onto Tommy, and savagely beating him within an inch of his life, Tommy would've done something even worse than what he did with Pete...
  • Played for Laughs: Tommy is laughably scummy, and makes it so inconceivably blatant that he's a sleazebucket through-and-through.
  • Played for Drama: Pete has to deal with a drunk Tommy making some suggestive advances, sometimes attempting a Forceful Kiss on Pete. Pete is torn between preserving his dignity by not letting Tommy rape him and his own self preservation that if he does the former then Tommy might do something way worse.
  • Played for Horror: Tommy is an Ax-Crazy Serial Killer who'd make the likes of even Patrick Bateman hurl.

Why don't you come back to my apartment and we can continue our little business talk there?~... What? They're calling me a slimeball? Bah fuck them! To fucking hell with them! They're all just a bunch of idiotic goddamn schmucks as far as I'm concerned, those damned fucking pricks...
