• Potential sequels being named such things as "LEGS", "HEADS", or other body parts are common jokes.
• "Ribbon Girl and/or Spring Man for Smash!" Became Hilarious in Hindsight (or harsher) after Spring Man's appearance as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Min Min's reveal as a fully-fledged DLC fighter.
• Jokes about other characters known for stretching their arms to superhuman lengths, such as Dhalsim and Mr. Fantastic, being playable have also been made, as are jokes about Lanky Kong appearing as an unlockable character.
• There are jokes where Spring Man has been compared to similarly-named characters from Mega Man 7 and Kinnikuman on numerous occasions. This has been taken to its logical conclusion with a tweet on Mega Man 7's Spring Man from the official Mega Man Twitter account and Masahiro Sakurai's acknowledgment on Kinnikuman's Springman in Min Min's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Sakurai Presents presentation.
• Spring Man's hair is frequently compared to or called toothpaste, due to being a light blue in color and coiled up.
  • The joke has gone innocently further where a few fans have compared or called Spring Man's hair a cornet pasty due to the similar appearances.
• Helix became a fountain for Lord Helix jokes thanks to his English name, as well as quite a few Flubber comments.
• Much like 2B from NieR: Automata or Tracer from Overwatch, Twintelle's butt has become a meme in and of itself. This is partially because it appears in a game made by Nintendo, a company notable for creating games that are Lighter and Softer than their contemporaries. It also resulted in the extension of the LEGS meme into ARSE.
• Lola Pop, with her stretchy arms and unique method of blocking, has been called the reincarnation of Lanky Kong. As a literal Fighting Clown, she's also no stranger to references including The Joker, It, and The Big Comfy Couch.
• Calling Lola Pop "DeviantArt: The Character" or otherwise mentioning DeviantART. ^ExplanationLola Pop wears an inflatable suit that blows up when she blocks on the ground and blocking while you are holding the charge button in the air. DeviantART is memetically infamous for how much inflation fetish art is posted on the site.
• Ever since Dr. Coyle's reveal trailer showcased her materializing behind Max Brass, plenty of "nothin personnel kid" and "OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU" jokes have been made.
• Min Min for the Win Win ^ExplanationA phrase that is commonly used as a sort of cheer chant for Min Min.
  • Min Min is in in ^ExplanationThis one is used in terms of supporting her in getting into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This picked up steam when she actually made it in as the first fighter in Fighters Pass Volume 2.
• I'M MARY POPPINS, Y'ALL! ^ExplanationIn the Level 6 & 7 endings of Grand Prix, Max Brass is shown floating down onto the stage using a pair of Parasols. This caused people to respond with this memetic line from that film.
