Funny / Petite Princess Yucie

• From the very first episode, Cube's occasional Butt-Monkey antics count. Especially when trying to get Gunbard to stop making a big deal out of Yucie's birthday. The poor boy is completely useless at it.
• Episode 2, the episode starts off with Gunbard wanting to give Yucie a rather frilly pink dress he'd made for her. Naturally, Yucie runs away as fast as she can to avoid having to wear it.
  • The stone guardian to the academy that Yucie meets, who says the word "gate" at the end of every sentence.
  • Yucie and Glenda's stunned reaction to learn that Queen Ercell, is also their principal.
  Ercell: I'm here because I'm the principal of the academy. Didn't I tell you that?
  Yucie: Actually... you didn't.
• Near the beginning of episode 3, Yucie's class assignment is to summon a bird. Poor Yucie tries her best, only to summon a bird that's dead and been cooked for a meal.
• Episode 4, Kate and Milka arguing over whether to consider Milka's pet her "baby".
  Milka: (indignant) It may be a pet, but it is a baby pet!
  Kate: (with a smile) Yes, yes so, it's a baby.
  • While Yucie does have some trouble with Mokori, Glenda ends up far worse off. Being chased around and attacked all day by a baby griffon.
• Episode 5, the gardener Douglas managing to trick Glenda into becoming one of his helpers. Even calling her a "splendid weed puller", much to Gelnda's annoyance.
• Near the beginning of episode 6, Glenda pranks Yucie while she's working at the local church. Trying to scare the poor girl into thinking she's being attacked by a giant eyeball monster. Yucie goes on a tirade, sternly scolding her on how childish her prank was.
  • Yucie and Arc's first meeting, and Arc quickly proving to be anything but Mr. Prince Charming.
  Arc: You're the forehead from last night, aren't yeh?
  Yucie: Eh, forehead?
  Arc: As I was falling. I remember having thought that a big forehead was coming right at me.
• In episode 7, Yucie gets turned into a literal cat. Sort of like a "crowning moment of cute".
  Yucie: (realizes she's become a white cat) Huh? Now I'm a cat too!
  • When Yucie and Glenda first arrive in the Demon World. Yucie quickly discovers the world is apparently covered in... candy. The place is also full of happy kittens and even the volcano's, which at first appear to have Glowing Eyes of Doom... are smiling cheerfully.
  • Cat!Yucie aiming the cannon Cube gave her at Glenda instead of Meow the First. Much to Glenda's irritation.
• Episdoe 8, Yucie and Glenda's hand drawn self portraits, if you can call them that.
  • Chawoo transforming into a copy of Cocoloo, hoping to audition in her place for the artist Nikolai. Though Chawoo's almost instantly caught in the act by Cocoloo.
• Episode 9, Elmina's first instinct before walking out of Queen Ercell's office is to unfurl her wings and fly. The Queen subtly indicates that this is not allowed. Elmina understands that much and dutifully stops flying... Until she's out in the hallway, not realizing Ercell meant no flying throughout the "entire" academy.
  • Glenda actually uses magic to banish her father before can he can hug her, her justification?
  Gaga: Eh, Princess. You've been prohibited from using magic in the human world.
  Glenda: It doesn't apply to emergencies.
  • Glenda then tries to start a fight with Elmina, only for her father to interrupt.
  • Elmina's steward Balizan wishes to introduce himself to Elmina's classmates. The only problem is that he's over 7ft tall and breaks down the window to the classroom to do so. Once told he must leave, his exiting through the door cracks the walls.
• Episode 10, watching Glenda and Chawoo bickering.
  • When Yucie gives Arc the lunch she made for him, he gets suspicious.
  Arc: What's with the sudden change of heart? You didn't put any poison in it, did you?
  • Yucie tries to sneak Arc out of the library. Which involves Arc hiding in a cart underneath a blanket while Yucie pushes it. They manage to avoid getting caught by Cocoloo and Glenda, only to run into Elmina.
  Elmina: (lifts the blanket off the cart and discovers Arc) Oh?
  Arc: Heh... Hi
• Glenda running off a cliff trying to chase Elmina in Episode 12, forgetting that she can't fly without her broom. Cocoloo and Yucie's reactions sell it.
  Glenda: HEY! WAIT FOR US, WILL YOU?! (screams as she falls)
  Cocoloo: Um... I don't believe we can fly. Can we?
  Yucie: No?
• The ending of episode 13, when Amphi and his sister turn out to be frogs in their true forms. Glenda's reaction is to punch them both into the sky.
  Yucie: So, what's the deal?
  Gaga: To put it simply, the Princess of the Demon World. With elegant beauty and fantastic magical powers has one weak point. And that-
  Yucie, Cocoloo & Elmina: -Would be Frogs.
• Episode 14, Glenda and Chawoo get into another fight. Chawoo then points out how worn-out Glenda's overinflated title has gotten.
  Glenda: I'm the Princess of the Demon World! With elegant beauty and-
  Chawoo: You know, I'm getting mighty tired of hearing that stupid line.
• Episode 15, when meeting with the kids at the kindergarten they'll be working at. One particularly bratty boy lifts Yucie's skirt from behind.
• Episode 16, the girls costumes for the harvest festival. Yucie is a cat, Cocoloo is an angel. While Glenda's outfit is extremely Stripperiffic. Glenda then reveals the outfit is a favorite of her mothers'.
  Yucie: I wonder what kind of person Glenda's mom is...
• Episode 17, instead of heading to the top of the World Tree like the others girls. Glenda decides to dig down into the tree's roots for the Crystal Flower. She winds up running into a group of talking moles.
  • The episode ends with Glenda still being chased by the infatuated moles.
• Episode 20, when Glenda receives a dress for the royal ball from her father she insists that it be thrown away without even looking at it. When she receives another dress at the same time from her mother. She's more than happy to take it.
  • Turns out the dress from her mother was terribly gaudy looking, Glenda still loves it.
• Episode 22, while Beth argues with Yucie and Cocoloo. Glenda and Elmina can't resist throwing jabs at each other yet again.
  Glenda: (about Beth) Oh boy, an irritated woman is a sore sight to watch.
  Elmina: Oh, you finally realize that about yourself?
  Glenda: (now glaring at Elmina) Your personality is getting more and more twisted.
  • Arc or rather, Prince Arrow getting stuck with helping give Lord Drago a bath.
  Arc: This is why... I don't like looking after the elderly.
  • The reason Arc was even in the area? He was hoping to spend time with Yucie. He even starts to blush when Lord Dragon teases him about it.
• Episode 23, the moment when Diabolos roots attack the girls. And Cocoloo easily avoids them with her intangibility. Destroying the attacking root with a single poke from her spear. Also counts as a CMoA for Cocoloo.
• Anytime Yucie and Glenda get into a "Cat Fight".
  • Also Yucie and Arc.
