Miraculous: Power of the Primes is a crossover between Transformers and Miraculous Ladybug written by Vigilante Bardock and can be read on Archive of Our Own hereand FanFiction.Net here.

Miraculous: Power of the Primes contains examples of:

  • Adaptation Species Change: Instead of being Cybertronians like they are in most fics, Orion Pax (Optimus Prime), Ariel (Eita-1), and Dion (Ultra Magnus) are hit with this, now being normal humans until they discover the Matrix of Leadership.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Marinette seems to go through this, as whenever she appears, she will usually throw some shade at Orion, Ariel, or Dion. She seems to make Ariel a target, even going so far as trying to intimidate her into staying away from Adrien.
  • Adaptational Villainy: The Order of the Guardians is an example of this, being shown in flashbacks as doing despicable acts towards people who won't follow them or downright piss them off.
  • Ascended Extra: Alix and Nathaniel are subjected to this, the latter being the Autobot's "Mission Control", Teletraan 1 and the former being their personal fitness trainer.
  • Berserk Button: Never call Dion by his birth name, Daisuke.
  • Body Horror: Bianca Araña goes through this when she turns into Blackarachnia.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Both Autobots and Decepticons do this.
Optimus Prime:[After trapping Thunderking] “Alteros Cannon!”
  • Combining Mecha: The Predacons forming Predaking.
  • Crossover Relatives:
    • Ariel is now Nathaniel’s cousin.
    • Miko Nakadai is Kagami’s cousin.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Ladybug and Cat Noir experience the receiving end of this when they face off against a murderous android.
  • Death of a Child: In "Thunderking", Orion has a vision of the Matrix that displays a memory from Aitō Hahaoya being forced to watch her son die in front of her by a Miraculous Wielder.
  • Expy: Mr. Jackson, the history teacher, confirmed by the author as a reference for the character Mr. Terguson from the Rodney Dangerfield film Back to School.
  • Fantastic Racism: Nathaniel mentions that Alya had become an Anti-Mech Supremacist after the Decepticons invaded, with the incident with Predaking not really helping matters.
  • Ghost Memory: It is heavily implied that the flashbacks Orion receives from the Matrix are from the previous Primes who came before him. Confirmed in “Evillustrator” when one flashback reveals the narrator to be Nova Prime.
  • Halloween Episode: Basically what the chapter, "Along Came a Spider" is.
  • Humans by Any Other Name: Decepticons have a tendency to call humans "Gaians" and will refer to Earth as "Gaia".
  • Just a Machine: Ladybug displays this type of thinking when she suggests reprogramming the Predacons, even telling Optimus that they are nothing but mindless drones.
  • Lethal Chef: Invoked with Ariel. She is so bad and clueless when cooking, that she almost blew up Dion’s house when she tried to make a "Death by Bomb" chocolate cake. Whether or not this means she literally made a bomb out of a cake is currently unknown.
  • Morality Chain: Shockwave reminds Starscream that the only reason that Megatron hasn't decided to offline him yet is thanks to Nightbird, who is the only person who can keep Megatron in check and calm him down whenever he flies into a rage.
  • Multiversal Conqueror: It's heavily implied that the Decepticons have razed many different planets and realms in their conquests, including Remnant and Equestria.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • The most obvious are Orion Pax and Ariel becoming Optimus Prime and Elita-1.
    • Dion being Ultra Magnus is a reference to an old fan theory explaining what happened to the original Dion in the original Transformers 1984 episode "War Dawn".
    • The Autobots' battle cry is "Till All are One!"
    • There is a Vehicon that names itself Steve.
    • In Evillustrator, Ultra Magnus reveals during a fight that his outward appearance is actually a suit of armor protecting the real him on the inside, which is a white version of Optimus, being a reference to his original toy, which was a suit of armor that covered the inner robot. Whether this applies to him as Dion is currently unknown.
  • Noodle Incident: Soundwave had an incident involving the Seekers and Slipstream. What that means is up to the reader.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Adrien has one of these moments by dropping an F-Bomb, which shocks Plagg. To be fair, he had just seen Optimus Prime suddenly turn into a psychotic version of himself and almost strangled Evillustrator to death.
  • Race Lift: Orion, Ariel, and Dion now as humans are subjected to this:
    • Orion is Greek-Mexican
    • Ariel is Jewish
    • Dion is Irish-Japanese
    • Bianca Araña is Mexican
  • Related in the Adaptation: Pyra Magna is Orion’s twin sister.
  • Running Gag: People finding and reading Dion's erotica books.
  • Shout-Out: There’s a few of them:
    • When Orion, Ariel, and Dion see Jack, Raf, and Miko and a Gundam Convetion, Miko recalls an Akumatized villain who was modeled after D’Compose, a villain from another Hasbro product Inhumanoids.
    • There are two Sailor Moon references. The first is an Akumatized villain named Sailor Galactica and the other being a Halloween couple’s costume.
    • Gundam is referenced throughout the fic, even getting a whole chapter dedicated to it.
    • Mirai Nikki and Pokemon are referenced too, with them also being couple’s costumes.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Optimus Prime, Elita-1, and Ultra Magnus subject Ladybug to this when she suggests deactivating the Predacons and reprogramming them. Ladybug didn't know that this was basically murder and brainwashing for Cybertronians.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Played straight with Tento-mushi, one of Ladybug's predecessors who sadistically wiped out an entire village full of women and children to get back at a woman who slept with her "boyfriend" with help from her fellow Miraculous Users Tsuchinoko and Kuro Neko. Made even worse when Tento-Mushi lets Aitō live only to make her watch as Tento-Mushi kills Aitō's son in front of her.
