Paul Haddad (May 20, 1963 – April 11, 2020) was a Canadian actor and voiceover artist born in Birmingham, England. He had many roles in TV, animation, film, and theater, but was best known for being the original voice actor of Leon S. Kennedy from the Resident Evil franchise. He is also known for voicing characters in Nelvana's Animated Adaptation of Babar, the 90s X-Men cartoon, and the Free Willy TV series, among other Canadian animated series.
He passed away in 2020 in Toronto, Canada at the age of 56. While the reasons for his death were undisclosed, he had suffered many medical problems later in his life, requiring him to get surgery for throat cancer and three neurosurgeries for his extreme OCD problems - the last one occurring a mere two months before his death.
