Barbara Ann Murray, (27 September 1929 — 20 May 2014), was a British actress.

After World War II, she found it hard to find acting roles, so she worked as a model. At the age of 17, she got herself a five-year contract with the Rank Company of Youth earning £10 a week to be trained for starring roles in B-movies. Her career started with an Uncredited Role as an extra in the 1948 film Anna Karenina, which was followed by prominent roles in Passport to Pimlico, Mystery Junction, and Meet Mr. Lucifer.

She continued starring in films (including The Punch and Judy Man and Doctor in Distress (1963)) but as The '60s progressed, Murray found herself appearing on TV too, in guest roles in many drama and espionage series, most notably playing Lady Pamela Wilder in 32 episodes of The Power Game.

When The '70s rolled around, Murray played Ammonia in Up Pompeii (taking over from Elizabeth Larner, who had played the role in the series). Another role taken over by Murray was that of Victoria Hackett in Albert and Victoria; Victoria had been played by Zena Walker in Series 1. Alas, tragedy struck for Murray, who suffered a miscarriage after her second episode, and so she was replaced with Frances Bennett.

Murray continued to act in smaller roles until 2001, when she retired and moved to Spain where she would live out the rest of her days.

She died at the age of 84.
