Barbara Ann Murray, (27 September 1929 -- 20 May 2014), was a British actress.

After UsefulNotes/WorldWarII, she found it hard to find acting roles, so she worked as a model. At the age of 17, she got herself a five-year contract with the Rank Company of Youth earning £10 a week to be trained for starring roles in B-movies. Her career started with an UncreditedRole as an extra in the 1948 film Anna Karenina, which was followed by prominent roles in ''Film/PassportToPimlico'', ''Mystery Junction'', and ''Meet Mr. Lucifer''.

She continued starring in films (including ''Film/ThePunchAndJudyMan'' and ''Film/DoctorInDistress1963'') but as The60s progressed, Murray found herself appearing on TV too, in guest roles in many drama and espionage series, most notably playing Lady Pamela Wilder in 32 episodes of ''The Power Game''.

Murray continued to act in smaller roles until 2001, when she retired and moved to Spain where she would live out the rest of her days.

She died at the age of 84.
