The Curator
Collects artifacts and relics that belonged to the assassins (e.g. a gun, a diary, articles of clothing, jewelry, etc).- Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous: The Curator is a god of some sort who does not identify with one gender.
- The Prankster: They often give other people misleading or false information as a practical joke.
The Inspirator
The Inspirator
Invested in the assassins' motives and furthers his understanding of them throughout the show. He also helped reminded them of their motives in the moment. The Conductor
He drives the train that takes the assassins out of the Farm and over to the modern world or different universes. He takes them around a couple of times per week.
The Assassins
General
- Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: Generally most of the assassins aren't necessarily bad people. They're people who delusionally tried to make a change for a good cause.
- Dysfunction Junction: Most of them need some therapy and the rest need a lot. They have dark things in their pasts they need to face and overcome.
- Cast Full of Crazy: Each character has something insane about them and no one there is fully sane.
- Cast Full of Gay: Fai and Linda are the only suspected straight ones.
- Down on the Farm: The setting takes place mostly at a Farm, which is their purgatory.
Leung Cheng Fai
Leung Cheng Fai
Unable to see his wife again due to the Chinese Exclusion Act (1882), Fai was driven by grief and anger and attempted to assassinate President Chester Arthur. He was the first assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Driven to Suicide: After attempting to assassinate the president, Fai shoots himself
- Only Sane Man: Out of all of the assassins, Fai is the sanest person at the farmhouse. He keeps people grounded as well.
- Faux Yay: It's unintentional, but Fai acts suspiciously around Harvey, causing the man to blush. However, he is canonically heterosexual.
Mira Bloomberg
Mira Bloomberg
Grief-stricken after losing her girlfriend and as revenge for everything he has done, Mira assassinated President Woodrow Wilson. She was the second assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Well-Intentioned Extremist: Planned to assassinate the tsar of Russia before the revolution as a way to avenge the victims of the pogroms until the revolution.
- The Stoic: She doesn't show many emotions in the beginning, but she gradually gets more expressive
- Death Glare: Besides being stoic, she does this often.
- Mentor in Queerness: Mira does this with Billy. She also Coax Them Out of the Closet.
- Bomb Throwing Anarchist: Subverted, Mira took great care to put no one else at risk.
- Spark Ofthe Rebellion: Mira hoped to inspire revolution when she assassinated her original target, Tzar Nicolas II.
Harvey Schwarz

Grief-stricken after the loss of his wife and as revenge for the Great Depression, Harvey attempted to assassinate President Herbert Hoover. He was the third assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Anger Born of Worry: Harvey is sometimes a father figure to the younger assassins, but his worry comes off as anger some of the time.
Oliver "Ollie" Keita
Oliver "Ollie" Keita
After a miscommunication with his mom and trying to aid his community, Ollie attempted to assassinate President Herbert Hoover. He was the fourth assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Silent Snarker: Ollie is nonverbal and communicates his remarks through his notebook, sign language, and facial expression. But because he doesn't talk, some of the assassins mistakenly take him to be Cute Mute.
- The Prankster: He pulls a lot of practical pranks, but tries to use the Cute Mute trope as a disguise.
- Beware the Quiet Ones: For the reasons listed above. But besides the joking around, Ollie can be really passionate about what he believes in.
- Consummare Liar: He lies often to make himself look innocent. He is the best liar in the Farmhouse.
Graham Watts
Graham Watts
Taking revenge and assuming he was the mastermind behind Kennedy's assassination, Graham attempted to assassinate President Lyndon B Johnson. He was the fifth assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Rogue Agent: Graham was a Secret Service agent who tried to assassinate President Johnson.
- Straight Gay: He does not have many attributes when it comes to "gay" mannerisms, and it's quite a shocker to a few of them when they find out he was gay. He is also a Manly Gay.
- Cool Shades: He consistently wears shades whether it be night or he's swimming at the beach.
Ralph Myers
Ralph Myers
Frightened by recurring dreams of the president starting the zombie apocalypse, Ralph attempted to assassinate President Jimmy Carter. He was the sixth assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Zombie Apocalypse Hero: This is what he thought he would be if he assassinated President Carter.
- Suddenly Shouting: He is a very excited man and will start shouting often.
- Scars Are Ugly: Due to his mom drinking while pregnant, Ralph was born with marks and scar-like features on his face. He's ashamed of them and covers them up.
Mariya Langdon
Mariya Langdon
Due to the lack of action and attention given to the aids crisis, Mariya assassinated President Ronald Reagan. She was the seventh assassin to arrive at the Farmhouse.- Tragic Aids Story: One of Mariya's motivators was the fact that her cousin died from AIDS during the AIDS crisis.
Marina John
Marina John
Because of her strict religious beliefs and the president's affair, Marina assassinated President Bill Clinton. She was the eighth assassin to arrive at the farmhouse.- Mission from God: She believes assassinating the president was something God would have wanted.
- Closet Gay: Marina is revealed to be bisexual in her backstory.
- Profanity Police: She scolds people and frequently asks them not to swear. Though she sometimes lets it slip herself.
Linda Castillo Lopez

Wanting to prove her love to the assassin John Hincklet Jr, Linda attempted to assassinate President George W. Bush. She was the ninth assassin to arrive at the farmhouse.- Monster Fan Girl: Literally tried to kill someone for John Hinckley Jr. She has a shrine of him in her closet.
Billy Lingban
Billy Lingban
Claiming it was because of the economy and the political tensions between parties, Billy assassinated President Barack Obama. He was the tenth assassin to arrive at the farmhouse.- Mistaken for Racist: Because he killed the first black president, Billy is seen as racist by some people in America and sometimes in the Farmhouse too.
- Big, Screwed-Up Family: Billy's mother was an Evil Matriarch, his father was neglectful, his sister was a parent-pleaser, and his brother was The Unfavorite. His parents were obsessed with Family Honor.
- The Twink: He is often called this and it's pretty much true despite how much he wishes it isn't.
- Closet Gay: He was in the closet to everyone for half of the show until he accidentally told Mira about his crush on Cooper. But the audience and even some (if not all) of the Farmhouse members knew he was bi.
- Homeschooled Kids: Billy was homeschooled by private tutors until he went to Harvard at 15.

Cooper St. John
Unable to get top surgery, Cooper assassinated President Donald Trump. He is the last, and the eleventh, assassin to arrive at the farmhouse. Cooper is also the main protagonist during most of season one.- Easy Sex Change: As soon as he enters purgatory, Cooper's body becomes like one of a biological male.
- Trans Tribulations: He shoots the president because he couldn't get top surgery
