    Chase Redford
Voiced by: Joesy Montana McCoy

The Disciplinary Chair of Wonderland High and The Red Knight.

  • Happily Adopted: By the Red Queen.
  • Honor Before Reason: Will follow the rules to a T even if doesn't agree with them and knows the person who made them is deliberately making them unfair.
  • The Rival: To the White Knight.

    Nevermore

A dragon who became Raven's animal companion during a ceremony in the Shannon Hale books. Her first on screen appearance is from the Netflix exclusive Dragon Games.

  • All Animals Are Dogs: She's an excitable puppy that happens to fly and breathe fire.
  • Canon Immigrant: While a fairly regular character in the books, Dragon Games is her first animated debut, almost three years after her book depute.
  • Evil-Detecting Dog: Senses that Mira Shards is the Evil Queen right away, causing her to panic and go wild.
  • Meaningful Name: "Quoth the Raven: Nevermore" from Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Despite having never been seen in the webisodes or specials, Nevermore is treated as if, like in the books, she has always been around.
  • Sizeshifter: Able to grow and shrink at will.
  • Troll: In Unfairest of Them All, Nevermore grows and shrinks just to get a rise out of nearby civilians.

    Crystal Winter

Daughter of the Snow King and Queen, making her the future Snow Queen herself. She is the main character of the Netflix special Epic Winter.

  • Adaptational Heroism: Not Crystal herself, but her mother. In the story, the Snow Queen is either neutral or an outright villain. Here, she seems to be a good, fair queen.
  • An Ice Person: She has a magic wand that gives her Ice and Snow powers. Even without it she is immune to cold weather.
  • An Ice Suit: Her outfit is winter themed. Her neckline and boots are trimmed with white fur, her dress looks like its icing over at the waist, and her Cool Crown is made to look like ice crystals.
  • I Know Madden Kombat: During "Epic Winter"'s final battle, she shoots several hockey pucks at Jackie Frost's giant form.
  • Norse by Norsewest: The Snow Queen is a Hans Christian Anderson character, which makes Crystal Danish.
  • Sheltered Aristocrat: You probably won't meet a more spoiled daughter, but she is still a loving person always willing to help... as soon as someone ties her shoes for her.
  • Unfit for Greatness: Downplayed, but Crystal has never had to do anything for herself, in fact she doesn't even know how to tie her own shoes. This makes her parents worry that she won't be ready when it comes time to take the throne.

    Jackie Frost and Northwind
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ew___icq___jacky_nw_were_gonna_rule_the_winter.jpg
Voiced by: Bresha Webb (Jackie), Todd Haberkorn (Northwind).
A pair of shape-shifting twins who plot to take over the power of winter.
  • All According to Plan: Northwind is too dumb to acknowledge that Jackie could ever possibly fail. Even when they are imprisoned and punished, he keeps asking "Was that also part of your plan?" in a non-sarcastic way.
  • Animorphism: They can shapeshift into snow-related creatures, such as polar bears and owls.
  • Big Bad: Jackie is this for the Epic Winter miniseries, with Northwind as her Minion with an F in Evil.
  • Brains and Brawn: Jackie is the Brains to Northwinds Brawn.
  • Heel–Face Door-Slam: Crystal almost talks Jackie into giving up the Snow King's Staff, but Faybelle taking the winter rose makes Jackie think its a trick.
  • Minion with an F in Evil: Northwind is far too dumb to actually be evil.
  • Norse by Norsewest: Due to Crystal being Scandinavian, these two are as well, except they're Finnish.
  • Tricking the Shapeshifter: Northwind is defeated when Daring has a (fake) argument with Rosabella over whether he could shapeshift into a mouse, which he was too eager to prove.
