Heroes
Myers
The main Protagonist. A young man with little to his name, who was just in the right place at the right time to get superpowers.
- Animal Motif: The Bringer Armor is based on a bird.
- Calling Your Attacks: Subverted. Myers only calls out the names of his Bringer Techniques in his head.
- Castfrom Hit Points: Downplayed. Using maximized Bringer only increases already existing injuries.
- Clothes Makethe Superman: Myers has very little power while not wearing the Bringer Armor.
- Cool Sword: the Bringer's Edge.
- Finishing Move: His Bringer Techniques tend to be this.
- Healing Vat: The Bringer Bird puts Myers into a biological one after he gets hit by the Moon Dragon's Breath Weapon.
- Sizeshifter: When in Maximized Bringer form.
- The Ace: Very good at swordfighting. Weather this is all him or mostly the Bringer Bird is unknown.
- You Can See Me?: Myers can see Moon and Shadow Beasts, even when they don't want to be seen.
Catlyn
Myers' female companion, and Ken's older sister.
- Curb Stomp: Gives one to Sabanto.
- Dynamic Entry: Dropkicks Sabanto in the face from high in the air.
- Kick Chick
- Super-Toughness: Got thrown to the ground from very high up and was back on her feet seconds later.
Wick
A friendly figure who is a fan of Myers' and just wants to chronicle his battles.
- Animal Motif: a Fox.
- Elemental Powers: Has electricity.
- Little Bit Beastly: Has fox ears, face marks resembling whiskers, and possibly a tail under his coattails.
- The Bard: What he wants to be for Myers.
Ken
Catlyn's younger sister.
- Deus ex Machina: Her cards, which hold items, tell the future, and probably various other things.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Gives them out to Myers. Maximized Bringer, an energy shield, and the Samurai armor from page 46 were given by Ken's cards.
Villains
Gekko
The main antagonist, and the ruler of the Moon.
- Author Phobia: Word of God states that he was given the hairstyle he has becasue the author wanted Gekko to be hatable.
- Big Bad
- Villain Episode: At the start of the Sabanto Arc, there is a few pages revealing Gekko and his underlings.
Sabanto
A devout follower of Gekko.
- Arc Villain: The villain of the first full arc.
- Cool Mask: Has one that features a single, large eye with multiple pupils.
- Cool Sword: A Khopesh, that was made from a Dragon.
- Curb Stomp: On the receiving end of one from Catlyn.
- Death by Flashback
- Energy Weapon: His Cool Sword shoots giant lasers.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: First an energy shield that gets smashed by Catlyn, then an Artifact of Power which managed to block one of Myers' Finishing Move s.
- Meaningful Name: His name is Engrish for "Servant".
- Tactical Withdrawal: Flees via dragon after getting curbstomped by Catlyn.
- Summon Magic: Sabanto's first action upon coming to Earth is to summon a giant moon dragon.
- Villainous Vow: Makes one to Gekko proclaiming that he won't return to the Moon until Bringer is defeated.
Sakasa
Former Prince of the Moon, and one of Gekko's followers. Often portrayed as childish but cunning.
- Arc Villain: Of the current arc.
- Artifact of Power: The Jewel, of the Jewel-Sword-Mirror trio.
- Death by Flashback: Invoked. He saw how Sabanto died and decided to tell Myers his own backstory the first time they meet.
- Flunky Boss: How Sakasa perfers to fight, and how he mainly uses his Artifact of Power.
- Mook Maker: Makes stronger Shadow Beasts using his Artifact of Power.
- The Power of Creation: Also the Jewel.
