A house full of crazy
Yandere Apartment (ヤンデレアパート) is an ASMR Video series created by Ichigo Inuzuka. The listener is in the position of an unfortunate tenant who is loved (and has his ears cleaned) by various girls who happen to be yandere.

  • Kokoa Saotome: A popular streamer who loves playing videogames.
  • Miu Kusakabe: A grouchy girl that works in a maid cafe.
  • Aki Nanshou: A tomboyish gym teacher with a hot temper.
  • Yukari Yofune: The landlady of the eponymous apartment.

You can listen to the series here.

This series provides examples of:

  • Alpha Bitch: All girls are revealed to be this or have been since the beginning.
  • And I Must Scream: Miu is trapped in the collapsing building after Yukari sets fire to it. Since Aki had incapacitated her beforehand, she can't escape and burns to death.
  • Asshole Victim: Kokoa threatens to send her fans after the Protagonist when he rejects her, Miu gaslights him into codependence and Aki threatens to kill him and beat a girl into a bloody pulp just for being a minor inconvenience. It's hard to feel sorry for them after Yukari burns down the apartment.
  • Batter Up!: Aki owns a metal baseball bat. Which she uses to beat Miu and break her legs.
  • Big Brother Is Watching: As the landlady, Yukari monitors everyone and knows instantly when something goes against the apartment code.
"This place is my castle. I know everything that happens within these walls."
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: The girls turn out to be pretty nasty.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Yukari burns down the apartment, killing the other girls, and gets away with it. She also kidnaps the Protagonist and forces him to live in her fancy house. However, compared to the other girls, Yukari seems to have his best interests at heart, so the story ends on a hopeful note.
  • Disproportionate Retribution:
    • Kokoa threatens to send her fanboys after the Protagonist makes clear he doesn't want anything with her.
    • Miu has been gaslighting the Protagonist by thrashing down his house. Aki's response? Break her legs with a bat, then threatening to kill the Protagonist after he finds out.
  • Dull Eyes of Unhappiness: Official artwork depicts the girls with glossy eyes when they go into Yandere mode.
  • Dogged Nice Guy: Kokoa befriended the Protagonist and helped him with his issues in the hopes of him returning her affections. When this failed, she resorted to extortion, deluded this would make him fall for her. When he predictably rejects her for being nuts, she takes it badly.
  • Drunk with Power:
    • Kokoa is a famous streamer and she's let the power go to her head. Such as attempting to buy the whole apartment complex in order to have the Protagonist all to herself.
    • Yukari tends to abuse her authority as the landlady. Such as giving the Protagonist a cheaper rent because of her feelings for him, or burning down the building and getting away with it.
  • Ear Cleaning: The Protagonist gets his ears cleaned by each girl.
  • Entitled to Have You:
    • Aki just met the Protagonist for a few minutes and she's already treating him as her boyfriend. Nonetheless to say, he's repulsed.
    • Yukari felt this way towards the Protagonist, thinking that because he is her childhood friend, she is obligated to get the guy.
  • Evil Laugh: Yukari lets out an horrifying one after setting fire to the apartment.
  • Fatal Attractor: Poor protagonist. The only girls who have any interest in him are creeps and weirdos.
Yukari: "Perhaps it's because everyone here is abnormal, and so we can't help but be attracted to you. Just like moths to a flame..."
  • Failed a Spot Check:
    • Aki was so happy cleaning the Protagonist's ears, that she fails to notice Miu's bloody headband lying nearby.
    • Yukari allowed the Protagonist to live at the apartment because she wanted him to remember their past together. Not only the Protagonist has forgotten her (until she spells it out for him), but he atracts the attention of the other tenants.
  • First Girl Wins: Yukari is the last girl introduced, but she was his childhood friend. And she's the one he ends up with, kidnapping aside.
  • Gaslighting: Miu's favorite tactic, thrashing down the Protagonist's house and trying to convince him that Kokoa did it.
  • Gilded Cage: At the end of the series, Yukari kidnaps the Protagonist and takes him to live at her fancy house.
  • Girl Next Door: It's a story of a guy getting pursued by his attractive yet obsessive neighbors.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Aki tends to use her bat to take out her frustrations. Not only she beats Miu into a bloody pulp for being a minor inconvenience to the Protagonist, but she threatens to stab him with an earpick after he's disgusted for what she did.
  • Hates Everyone Equally: Miu treats everyone with contempt. Yukari even refers to her In-Universe as a "misanthropist".
  • He Who Must Not Be Heard: The protagonist is never voiced and all his dialogue is provided by the characters. This is done for the listener to place himself into the story more easily.
  • Hypocrite: Miu keeps trying to convince the Protagonist she's the only one who should be trusted, even as she thrashes down his apartment to put the blame on Kokoa.
  • I Have This Friend: Aki's excuse to invite the Protagonist to her house and clean his ears.
  • Internet Jerk: Kokoa seems like a sweet neighbor and popular streamer. But the moment the Protagonist rejects her love? Not so much.
"And don't even think about moving out. If you ever do that, there's no telling what my viewers might do to you..."
  • Inconsistent Spelling: Aki and Yukari's surnames are incorrectly spelled as "Nanzyou" and "Yohune" in the official webpage.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: While burning the apartment might seem excesive, Yukari has a number of good points about how the other girls are dangerous. Not only Kokoa keep making threats about buying the apartment complex, but Aki was planning to harm the Protagonist.
  • Manipulative Bitch: Miu might seem abrasive at first, but she helps the Protagonist to deal with Kokoa's harrassment. Until it's revealed she's the one doing it, in order to make Kokoa look bad and make the Protagonist dependant on her.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Yukari burns down the apartment, killing Kokoa, Miu and Aki.
  • Not Good with Rejection:
    • Kokoa's response to the Protagonist rejecting her love? Threatening to hack his social media and send her fanboys after him.
    • Turns out that the Protagonist did not appreciate Aki sending Miu to the hospital just because she was disruptive and rejected her twisted attempt to earn his love. She threatens to stab him with an earpick after he shows disgust.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: The reason why Yukari is able to get away with destroying the apartment and killing all the girls.
  • Secretly Selfish: Miu seems helpful and selfless, willing to help the Protagonist with Kokoa's harrassment. But she only does so to get his love. It gets to the point where she starts making problems for her to solve, claiming that it's Kokoa's doing, just so that she can continue "helping" him.
  • Slipping a Mickey: Yukari does it before kidnapping the Protagonist.
  • Spiritual Adaptation: Of Ichigo Inuzuka previous ASMR Video series, Yuusha-sama no Tamenara Nandatte!. Both feature a passive-aggresive girl, a girl who sweet-talks the protagonist into gaslighting and a murderous one. The final girl is a mature brunette that ends up kidnapping the protagonist and getting his love.
  • Stalker with a Crush: How all the girls found out that the Protagonist likes ear cleaning.
  • Tomboy Angst: Aki is an energetic gym teacher who wishes she was more feminine and hates her reputation as One of the Boys. She falls in love with the Protagonist because he treats her as a girl.
  • Tsundere: Miu acts like a Type A to the Protagonist, getting flustered and saying things like, "it's not like I wanted to talk to you! Jeez!"
  • Why Did You Make Me Hit You?: Yukari blames the Protagonist for sending the girls to the edge.
"But you do understand it was your fault, right? Your kindness broke everyone, even me...[...] You're not the victim, you're the perpetrator here. You came to my castle and drove all the girls mad."
  • World of Technicolor Hair: Some of the girls have oddly colored hair. Just to name a few, Kokoa has black hair with pink intakes, Miu has blonde hair with blue intakes and Aki has grey hair.
  • Yandere: Every character turns into this. They initially start off being affectionate towards the Protagonist before becoming obsessive, controlling and jealous.
