This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

- Heavy Object:
- Subverted, mostly. The story begins with the Starfist-like claim that the eponymous Objects (a form of Humongous Mecha) have obviated combined arms tactics because they're all but invulnerable to anything that isn't another Object (the first Object survived a direct hit from a submarine-launched nuclear warhead and remained sufficiently intact to finish off the opposition). Warfare has since devolved into "clean wars" with the unwritten rule that if your Object is destroyed, you surrender the territory and leave. The opening Story Arc proves that this not, in fact, the case when a special forces-like infrastructure raid destroys an enemy Object even after it had destroyed the friendly one in the theatre. Since the opposing faction had invested their entire war budget in the destroyed Object, a subsequent counterattack by surviving tanks and infantry captures the enemy base.
- That having been said, in the anime adaptation, the prologue shows the aforementioned submarine surfacing to launch its missile. Ballistic missile submarines have able to launch from below the surface since 1960 and no modern boomer uses surface launch.

Should the page be added to the Permanent Red Link Club? If not, it's okay.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!17549 and 17550 are done. Will catch the rest later tonight.
Can you please correct the following grammar error on YMMV.The Red Pill:
Jaye is a women —> Jaye is a woman
Thank you
* The [[Series/NameThatTune TV series]].
* The trope now known as ThemeTuneCameo.
If a direct wick has led you here, please correct the link so that it points to the corresponding article.

... I wouldn't have chosen this, if Series.Name That Tune hadn't given me the info. The name change is now 9 years old or so...
- True...

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576A lot of pages do suggest what you may be looking for instead; I certainly try to do that (e.g. Lady in a Power Suit also referring you to Samus Is a Girl)
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!I think the YMMV page for Mulan should be opened up again. It was locked because someone got mad about the edits I made to it and a few other pages relating to the film. Supposedly that user is a known ban evader, but I guess I'll come clean and admit I've been banned before for my edits to pages regarding the same film.
- 17553: I don't see a need for it.
YMMV.Mulan is not getting unlocked at this time.
Done to here, aside from the Name That Tune request. Is there current misuse? I see 0 wicks pointing to Name That Tune, but I don't know if there was prior clean-up before you made your post.
I feel bad that the page is locked and am worried someone else is getting blamed for edits I got banned for a while back.
The lock has nothing to do with you or your edits.
But as I've said, it was locked because someone got mad about the edits I made to it and a few other pages relating to the film. I've been banned before for my edits to pages regarding the film, and the person who got mad about my edits is thought to be a ban evader. I'm worried someone is being blamed for stuff I've done.
....No. The person who has been suspended is a ban evader who has been a thorn in the wiki's side for several years, with an unmistakeable editing style.
YMMV.Mulan is not getting unlocked. The suspension was issued correctly, to the right person.
Although, frankly, you have no suspensions under this account, so I'm wondering what your other account is, especially given your multiple posts.
"The person who has been suspended is a ban evader who has been a thorn in the wiki's side for several years, with an unmistakeable editing style."
That description sort of fits me, though.
In that case, we'll talk to you elsewhere.
On Monster.Film K To R, please switch the title section of the One Tough Bastard writeup to a link to One Man's Justice, as I just made the page under that title.
Can someone add the following to YMMV.Black Panther please:
- Americans Hate Tingle: The film is not being as well-received in China as other Marvel films, apparently due to excessive "political correctness".
Yes, I know that may look like a flamebait entry, but the report in the news article makes it a matter of fact, not opinion (although Americans Hate Tingle is still a YMMV trope, of course) so it should be recognised.
Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised."made to do ThisAndThat for" to "made to have sex with"
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576I found something on the "No Lewdness, No Prudishness" page that I think could use an update. Since I can't update it myself, I've come here to suggest it. It's just a suggestion, but I hope you will understand.
Despite the amount of time that has passed since we stopped allowing articles about porn, the article still says this: "Even when we discuss porn, we are about just stating the facts." Can we change that to something like this? If you can come up with a better word or phrase, that's fine. This coming one is just the best I can come up with. "Even when we discuss erotica, we are about just stating the facts." If I'm not mistaken, we do allow articles about steamy works that have legit plots, so long as the article itself doesn't get too steamy.
On the Double Standard page, under the Feminine Women Can Cook entry, could the following line be added:
"In harem comedies, there's almost always one member of the harem who can't cook and worries that this affects her chances with the main character."
* The [[WesternAnimation/RabbitSeasoning cartoon]].
* The DuckSeasonRabbitSeason trope, for switching sides of an argument subtly to make your opponent do the same without realizing it..
If a direct wick has led you here, please correct the link so that it points to the corresponding article.

Can you make Main.White Christmas a disambig for
- Bing Crosby's 1945 album and its title song
- Michael Curtiz' 1954 movie
- The 2011 Korean TV show
- Black Mirror's 2014 Christmas movie
- The trope Dreaming of a White Christmas

OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!I've fixed a couple of typos in the Orphan Black page's P. T. Westmoreland entry under Complete Monster, so I'm requesting for someone to replace the guy's entry in Live Action TVM To Z with that one.

When the Darth Wiki was truly Darth: http://web.archive.org/web/20151224131522/http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DarthWiki/WallBangerJuan Gimenez: Please recreate and cutlist the page to get rid of a ghost wick.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"
Also, some changes for Super Sentai (all these go only for the first use of the names):
- Vulgyre should be Galactic Super Beast Vulgyre.
- It's Lieutenant Colonel Shadam.
- Dezumozorlya is Wicked Life God Dezumozorlya.
- Brajira is Brajira of the Messiah.
