One of them was apparently like a cross between my university lifenote  and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!... set in India. It was so muddy it was like we lived directly on top of the river. Someone had a Mimikyu, but I don't remember if it was real or just on a game. Infact, I barely remember anything.

The other one was on Pokémon GO. I found and caught a wild Ho-Oh! Problem: It was a ridiculously low levelnote  and only had "above average" IVs (implying between 50% and 66.7% perfection). Normally, Raid Bosses are 66.7% to 100% perfect. But this one was glitchy. Despite Ho-Oh being a genderless species, the one I caught was female. Visually, this one had a shorter wingspan than "males", who use the default models. It was a really small specimen too.

Last night I dreampt I was mountain climbing in Russian and this witch lady who kind of looked like the mummy from the 2017 version of The Mummy was using magic to try and make me fall of the mountain.

And then Moscow exploded.

Apparently this version of Hyde looks like a Jojo's character. According to people who have seen that anime and I guess understand it.

I had a dream last night I was in this spaceship that was shaped like a giant centipede. I forget what we were doing in space but I learned that this other ship (that looked like a bigger centipede) was traveling to Alpha Centauri and could go half the speed of light. I really wanted to go on it but then realized I might not survive the trip and there was still a lot of stuff I wanted to do on Earth.

I had a dream a couple nights ago about a citywide power outage. I was working in a maintenance building in the downtown area of my hometown at night when most of the lights go out. I try the light switch, which doesn't work. It doesn't even turn off the lights in the same room that are still working. I go outside and see that the entire area has been affected, with the only light in the area being from inside and from a few streetlights that are still on. No lights are visible further out and it's a cloudy night. I make my way down the hill by flashlight, finding the town deserted and try to call a relative (I think it was my mother, but I'm not sure) to drive me home, but the phone service is out, too. From here on, I can see just fine without extra light, though everything has a slight washed-out sepia tint now. I start looking for people when I get to the bottom of the hill and finally find a woman walking down the street on a side road by the local convention center and she says that the entire town has gone dark. I decide to walk to where my relative was planning to be and remember saying "Guess I'm walking, then." I'm most of the way across a bridge on one of the main thoroughfares when the lights come back on, with the streetlights being the most obvious. The last thing I remember is a light going on in every window of a tall apartment building ahead of me and possibly someone calling my phone.

This dream was fairly unusual in that it not only took place in a familiar location, but also had a mostly accurate layout. Most of the buildings looked right and were more or less in the right places. The main exception was the maintenance building, which is in the same spot as a business in real life. One of the buildings by the harbor between the hill and the convention center was a bit out of place, though in the right lot. The architecture along the right side of the side road got fairly strange until I got near a grocery store in the area. The apartment building doesn't exist in real life, either. That part of town is almost entirely houses.

I had another crazy dream on the night before Christmas.

In my dream, it was Christmas morning, and my parents got me a plane ticket to go to Germany for exactly one day. They began to rush me out of the airport, insisting that it would be fun, while I was confused and worried. On the way there, my little brother said that he wanted to come with me, and my parents let him. For some reason, the airport let both of us ride on the same ticket. Or maybe that's not strange? The thing is, I've never been on a plane before. tongue

Anyway, it wasn't until we got to Germany (and the trip was far shorter than it would be in real life), my parents revealed why they wanted me to go there: They had signed me up to go on a game show there. So I went to the TV studio to see what the show was.

In the game show, the host would describe a certain phrase or scenario, and we (the contestants) had to go on our Pinterest accounts and find a picture on our main page that described the scenario best. I can't remember how I did.

Anyway, after that, I decided to go out and explore. The TV studio was located in a beautiful small town, so I started walking around and taking photos.

Then, me and my brother somehow ended up in this big stadium where there were a bunch of people doing various stunts. My brother broke one of the rules at the stadium (I can't remember what exactly he did, but it was something harmless, like sitting in the wrong seat), causing one of the stuntmen to scold him. I just sat back and let it happen at first, thinking my brother needed to learn to behave. But the stuntman just kept on scolding him, and he eventually just started launching petty insults at him. Then I got mad and tried to tell him off.

I can't remember what happened exactly, but then everything changed.

I was in a Super Mario Galaxy-like area, where I had to lure some Bullet Bills into crashing into breakable walls and other things. Suddenly, Pete (or an expy of him) appeared, and I got into a boss fight with him. The Pete clone had a bunch of ridiculously overpowered moves, and I was very close to dying. But then he changed his attack patterns - he started transforming into giant clones of other Disney villains, so I took advantage of this and started whaling on him while he was transforming. He transformed into giant versions of Oogie Boogie, Ursula, and more, only to switch to the next form before he could do anything, because he was taking so much damage in each phase. His final form was a giant Maleficent (not even her Dragon form, just a giant version of her normal self.) I can't remember what happened after that.

But, needless to say, my actual Christmas wasn't that crazy. :P

He may be a giant, nightmarish brute, but like all villains in this series,he sure can sing.

I had a weird Vanguard related dream again. I don't remember too much of this one, but it's interesting (to me at least).

Apparently the world of Vanguard was being infiltrated by another dimension that was originally identical to the main one (with the same characters and everything), but in that dimension the world was taken over and corrupted by some evil force. Interestingly enough the evil phenomenon that corrupted everyone on the planet was like a weird fusion between two different things in the series (Reverse from the anime and PSY Qualia Zombie from the manga [Being corrupted/possessed and being corrupted and granted some weird version of PSY Qualia respectively]).

So corrupted cardfighters from the other universe ended up in the main dimension and started trying to take it over like theirs had been.

Corrupted Dimension!Aichi was particularly interesting because he seemed rather reluctant like he was still in there somewhere and was really confused by the Amnesiac Dissonance or Wistful Amnesia (for lack of better terms. I'm not sure which would be better) he was feeling.

Also I think the main universe Aichi (who was not corrupted) got sent to the other dimension, but I'm not entirely sure what happened there. I think he was trying to remind people of the fun of Vanguard (as apparently this dimension was sapped of its happiness or something).

At one point the Corrupted!Aichi looked through a window at Main!Aichi trying to remind someone of how fun Vanguard was (Although looking back on the scene it would make more sense if it was Corrupted!Aichi remembering it himself [increasing the dissonance he feels])...

I don't know, but I found the story here interesting.

Apparently, I was in Australia.

In Dream Australia, coffee drive-thrus worked differently: A person wanting a coffee would park their car in the space in front of the coffee shop, leave it running, go in, order, go back to the car, then wait for their coffee to be delivered.

I attempted to do this. Since my car was running and unlocked, though, an older woman opened up my trunk and started rummaging through my stuff. I got out of line, walked back to my car, and said, "Excuse me. There's no need to do that."

She told me she had dropped something inside my trunk, had then found it, and would be on her way. I asked to see what she was carrying. None of it was mine, so I let her go. I turned off my car and locked it.

I got back in line, but the barista told me to move my car since it wasn't running. I parked down the block and walked back to the coffee shop. Before I got there, though, I realized that I had a giant wasp in my pants! I was nonchalantly trying to shake it out without getting stung when I woke up.

Last night's dream:

I dreamed that they inexplicably made a sequel to Shark Tale. In it, Oscar was going to visit a female shark friend of his (I think my subconscious wound up reversing Lenny's gender), unaware that he was being lured into a trap by that gold-digging lion fish. I never found out what it entailed because before Oscar got there, the dream suddenly changed to me being told by my mom that I was going to be visited by about two dozen clones of myself. Oh...okay? I woke up before they showed up.

"Hey, gimme a minute to get to know everyone, 'kay, Brainy?" "Of course, but please allow me to get a word in, too, bzz."

It was night time in my dream. Quasimodo was going under trial and for whatever reason, Frollo invited the audience to the trial. He even had an Absol guarding the door to the courtroom, which I thought was pretty symbolic. I can't remember much else other than the audience were apparently the defendants?

The kid and I were driving through Pueblo, a poor industrial city which is kind of Colorado's Butt-Monkey. On the radio, we heard that Sir Patrick Stewart had revitalized one of the city's community centers, so we decided to check it out.

It was gorgeous. It was Simple, yet Opulent, warm and inviting, and crowded. There was a crafts room, a pantry, a ballroom, workout areas, a pool...it was awesome! The kid and I decided to make a Stardew Hero Award for Sir Patrick Stewart.

Unfortunately (or maybe not), there was a wedding being set up. We got distracted because the wedding party let us try on so many fancy clothes.

Had this dream about this cartoon (either anime or just Animesque), I somewhat remember an artwork from it being of the girl (the protag) and her dog (a very round and fluffy brown dog)

It took place in a world where dice - regular playing dice - were illegal and hard to get hold of, and protag girl and her group of friends were dice thieves trying to get back the dice to the world. A starting scene had her climb outside someone's house to get the dice they kept on their balconies (also apparently some rich people still owned dice - apparently legally? - and they were the usual target. A lot of them seemed to keep them out in the open too) Another scene also had dice buried in the ground

I also remember liking the artstyle - a somewhat "watercolor" style of coloring with lines in a "softer" color (brown?) It looked really cool and pretty, stood out a bit

In my dream last night, there was this new game based on Ducktales 1987. You were playing as a new duck character, and the plot was that this new character got kidnapped by a Wicked Witch and taken to a faraway island. The island had a very tall mountain with a bunch of tiny moons orbiting it. The moons each had a unique theme (think the galaxies in Super Mario Galaxy), and to escape from the witch's clutches, you had to jump onto each moon and complete all the missions on them. There were other DuckTales characters to meet, puzzles to solve, bosses to fight, and more.

...And this game was somehow considered educational enough to get an entire class in school based around it.

In the dream, I was back in high school, and I had the Ducktales game class as my first period class. To make things weirder, my mom was teaching it. In the dream, she didn't seem one bit confused as to why there was an entire school class about one video game, although I'm sure she would be if this really happened.

I actually remembered a dream I had!

So I was in this helicopter and for some reason I had to shoot this really bizarre looking shark with a spear or hook thing which then proceeded to drag on the helicopter and pull me all over the place

Then I had one of those false awakenings where I was shouted at by someone for being out of bed at 3:00 pm but when I jumped out of bed and dashed to check my watch it was still in the AM time

There was a new TV show called "Impossible Zip Code" where rich people moved to poor zip codes, got entry-level jobs, and tried to survive.

The series premiere had Barack Obama and his wife move to the neighborhood where I grew up! He worked as a telemarketer—for commission only!—and his wife was a clerk at the 7-11 I used to walk to. They rented a single-family home (2 bedrooms) for $1600 a month, and struggled to stay afloat.

My mom, Twin Bro, and I popped some popcorn, mixed up some cocktails, and yelled at the TV while we watched the premiere. "NOOOO! Commission only will kill you! Don't go to Whole Paycheck, there's a King Soopers at 6th & Peoria! Cover those windows with film, you're not gonna be able to afford your power bill otherwise! OMG BARACK. Do. Not. Go. Out. To. Dinner. Even though it's payday."

A dream I had some weeks ago:

I was at a place resembling the outside areas of my old elementary school except the buildings were much longer, and some kind of event was going on. I saw a bunch of people throwing paint at the side of a building - just putting a paintbrush into the bucket, picking up a large amount of paint and then throwing it at the wall. I kinda wanted to join but quickly realized that wouldn't be a good idea because I didn't want to get paint on my shirt (a purple t-shirt with 3 pixel hearts where 1 is not filled in and the text "Videogames ruined my life, but I still have two". This is a shirt I actually own except the real one is black) so I put on a coat (that I had just suddenly got out of nowhere), quickly ran to the end of the building, trying to stay away and not get any paint splatters on my shirt. I was thinking of going home and changing just so I could join the painting

Then... I "woke up". As in, DREAMT I woke up... I was about to write down the dream on my phone as I usually do when I wake up and remember a dream - but I kept making typos, more than the usual from still being tired and typing on a mobile keyboard, and the phone just seemed kinda buggy and slow in general. Then I turned the screen off accidentally and couldn't unlock my phone again - I couldn't get past the unlock pattern since the screen suddenly didn't want to registrer my strokes properly and the pattern had more points than it should for some reason.

I was at my job trying to get a check (my job doesn't even issue checks, we have paycards). And for some reason, one of them had both $200 and $300 written as the amount, so I was debating which one was right and they told me "300". I walked outside and the parking lot had this weird gradual uphill slope, at which point I realized it was actually floating. There were also holes and I could see the sky through them. It looked like a Marble Blast Gold platform. I kept going and I saw some members of a band arguing about a song they were going to do with Green Day.

Somehow I ended up back on land in the parking lot of our Walmart. I was telling my mom that I thought Christmas had already passed, and she said "no, that's because you opened a lot of gifts on the 23rd because it didn't line up with sister's schedule."

I just had a dream where I'm a Princess on a shuttle that was exchanging diplomats with an alien species. Both of the warships were destroyed and we were left stranded.

I'm warm blooded and from a very cold homeworld. He's cold blodded and from a hot homeworld. My species has a body temperature of about 100degF. His species starts to overheat when it's over 50degF and we both like it when it's about 75degF.

It was -50 outside (-40 is where the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales intersect) where we landed and I had to use all of my body heat just to keep him from freezing.

This woman gets transported to a cartoon world, transformed into a Tex Avery-style cartoon character. She gets trapped under some machinery and this huge, cylindrical metal thing begins smashing down onto her head repeatedly. It’s obviously causing her terrible pain as evidenced by her horrible screams of agony.

This is why I hate having dreams about cartoons because it inevitably turns into something twisted and horrific.

I had a dream where a jouster at a renaissance festival got approached by what he thought was a dragon, but it was actually a Latias. He attempted to fight it off, but it knocked off his helmet...... and kissed him.

He was confused, and took up his fighting stance again, but his sword slipped. He looked at his hands, and found out.... they were claws. He was being turned into a Latios, all because his helmet was knocked off. He then flew off, no longer a human. Turns out the Latias was once a female human who had experiments done on her. It was revealed that it wants to transform all people into Pokemon. Every type. Shenanigans ensue.

I should write a book on this concept

I was broke. So, I applied for a promotion at work, to be a detective. (This is nowhere in my expected career progression. I am not a cop.)

In order to become a detective, I had to pass a few tests. First, I had to search a bunch of backpacks and find "contraband" (a big-ass bottle of orange juice) that the preceptor had put in one of the backpacks. The preceptor kept messing up the order of the backpacks, and when I called him out on it, I passed the test.

Then, I was given a scenario where I saw an officer in trouble, and the sergeant was screwing around, talking to his buddies. I passed that one by getting the sergeant's attention and directing him to the officer in trouble (since in the dream, detectives didn't carry weapons).

Then I had to fingerprint a bunch of people. When I was done with that, I immediately got a gift card to an office supply store, which only detectives carried, signifying that I got the job. I got a sweet 8:00am-6:00pm shift and a raise!

There were 2 parts of my dream last night that I can remember, but I can't remember which happened first, so I'll just put the shorter one first. :P

One part of the dream took place in the world of The Magic School Bus. In this version, Ms. Frizzle was very popular not just with the students, but with the whole town. I was a news reporter or something, and I was assigned to follow Ms. Frizzle on her field trip that day.

But as I drove to catch up with the bus, I went through a bunch of comical misfortunes. tongue I can't remember what exactly happened, except that, once I finally caught up to the bus, I saw that it was already being followed by a paparazzi of cars. I just sighed.

The next part of my dream was... weirder. It started with a flashback. Apparently, a few years ago, I had gone into the woods one night and started creating living plush animals out of thin air, with some sort of magic. I only created one, a dragon, before it started to rain, and the ground got so muddy that I could barely walk. So I got out of there by creating a giant frog.

Then, in the "present", I went back into the woods, only to find a bunch of police drones trying to catch me. I managed to avoid them for a long time, but I eventually got caught. Then, the police chief came in and said he wanted to talk to me. He showed me that some new living plush toys had appeared since I had been gone (the only one I remember was a bipedal hippo). He wanted to know how and why I made them all. I was scared, but I just tried to be honest, and he seemed happy with my answer. He decided to let the plush animals stay in the forest.

So... it was weird, but at least it had a happy ending. XD

Bump. So, nobody's had any notable dreams lately? tongue

Well, I guess I'll share what little I remember of my dream last night.

In it, We Have All Become Pokémon was real. I forget how exactly it worked, but a bunch of us tropers were gathered at one building, we each chose a Pokemon, then we actually transformed into that Pokemon, and we had to find our way out of a bunch of life-threatening situations.

Just like in real life, I had stopped playing the game a long time ago, but in the dream, Beverly convinced me to come back. ("Convinced" is putting it lightly, though. She wasn't mean about it, she was just... very eager. [lol])

Anyway, once we started choosing our Pokemon, for some reason, I decided that I really wanted to be a crab-like Pokemon, but I couldn't decide on which one. I ended up choosing one called Craboulder (which I could have sworn was a real Pokemon, but looking it up, apparently it's not. Still, it apparently existed in the dream), a Water/Rock type.

I don't really remember what happened after that. Most of the players went off in a big group together, while I was in a group with just two people.

[down]Maybe...

Oh hey I remember dreams from last night! As copypasted and reformatted from when I posted them in Discord:

One of them my parents and some friends of the family (who were entirely fabricated for the dream) and I were going to this dinner thing in the basement of this old church. Anyway this was a "journey through Time" dinner and some people were dressed in costumes from various time periods serving recipes from those time periods. (I would love to go to a dinner like that.) Anyway I was wishing I had a cool historical costume instead of looking kinda 90's grunge in my regular clothes.

Meanwhile this one guy at our table was singing something in falsetto and we were all supposed to sing a response and then he thought I was mocking him because my regular voice was the same pitch as his falsetto and my mom was running late because she teleported to Australia to go to the dentist. (like the first part of that sounds actually plausible and cool and then suddenly my mom could teleport)

Then there was one where my mom somehow managed to convince me to dye my hair white-blonde. And she wanted to put green streaks in it but I was already trying to figure out how the heck to get it back to normal. I think I just ended up getting black Manic Panic

Last one, I was, for some reason, singing a song about Pinky and the Brain to the tune of "I Dreamed a Dream". The only bit of this I remember was one of the couplets ended in "narf sort poit blah blah whatever" and the next one was "Brain what are we going to do tonight/Take over the world the same as ever"

Stupid doomed timeline...
