Let me try something fun here. =D And let me know if you have any suggestions for potholes.
That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height, down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population, common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched.
It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning, blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh, this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline.
It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite. Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam, but neck, right? Right.
It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...
(It's time I had some time alone)
Who am I? I'm a crazy Jewish existentialist type B tsundere from greater Washington who has a not-so-secret obsession with the stuff from your nightmares. I suppose that makes me quite weird, though the fact that it is another trope entirely threw me for a loop. I'm so glad I found it. <3
While my name may seem completely random, it actually has a Backstory. Once, when I was called to lift the Torah in Saturday morning services, I got a good look on the cover and noticed that the embroidered design looked just like a bunch of silvery shoelaces. I thought that it sounded cool enough to make it my universal username.
I'll start here with my favorite anime and manga.
- Bleach is the best Magical Girl series I've ever read.
- Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and xxxHolic have to make the list because I'm a CLAMP fan, but honestly the major plot twists in Tsubasa near the end were things I expected. I hope xxxHolic ends on a more interesting note.
- Rosario+Vampire is a great manga. It's an okay anime.
- Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is downright hilarious, and extremely troperiffic.
- Phoenix is probably extremely underrated, since it's overshadowed by the much more famous Tetsuwan Atom. But it is probably one of the most ingenious manga I've ever come across.
- Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 are still awesome now that I've grown up, and its alternate universe sequel Digimon Savers has also managed to earn a very special place in my heart.
- Girl Friends is a silly manga about two girls who are friends. Sort of.
- Legal Drug got discontinued by CLAMP, and I'm still hoping they pick it up again.
Favorite books
- The Count of Monte Cristo is an exciting tale of a quest for revenge, on a huge budget. Also, its spinoff Gankutsuou} was pretty awesome too.
- {{Crazy Lady!}} I read it for the first time in elementary school, probably around second or third grade, and it was the most touching thing I had ever read at that point. And when I reread it, it just gives me that nice warm, fuzzy feeling. It's basically about a kid who is failing English, so he befriends an autistic kid his age in return for English lessons.
- 1984 is chilling, but in a good way.
- Of Mice and Men is so sad, but the amazing friendship between George Milton and Lennie Small.
- The Stranger is about a nihilist who kills someone out of logic and gets imprisoned for trying to explain his logic to those darn illogical humans.
- Welcome to the Ark involves genius adolescents that get placed in a mental institution. The institution manages to notice that they aren't actually insane and puts them together, and they discover their psychic powers together.
- The Gay Science is nonfiction. By Nietzsche, which you tropers have probably heard of.
Favorite Plays
- Julius Caesar
- A Midsummer Night's Dream
- The Producers
- Phantom of the Opera
- Pizza With Shrimp on Top has earned itself a slot on my favorites list, not only because I met the playwright, but because I got to do the makeup for the show. The audience definitely didn't see that coming. :]
Video Games
- Disgaea is the funniest map-based RPG I've ever played.
- Pokemon never gets old. I now plan my parties out before I start, and stick to the same Pokemon the whole way through.
- Rock Band 2 is great in small groups.
- Tekken Tag is pretty old, but it's still good. I've played it since the arcade. I should probably buy the actual arcade console at this point.
- Tetris is addictive.
- Gyakuten Saiban, also known as Phoenix Wright. You know, that lawyer game.
