This is the sort of editor who makes an edit and then realizes he didn't do what he wanted to, he could have put something better or there's something more he has to say. * So he makes another edit. And another, and another, and another, until it's finally perfect — or the server breaks, or he loses his sanity, whichever comes first.
While practical, this type of edit fills up the page history with garbage edits, which often becomes annoying. We have a Preview feature — you can do the testing before entering your edit, so be sure to do so. You can also play around with different kinds of markup in the Wiki Sandbox.
In fora, this often produces an ominous, suspicious looking "post edited by author on ??/??/???? ??:??:??" message. Sadly, this site's forum does not have a preview feature, so use of the sandbox forum
 is necessary for spotless markup-heavy posts.
