I can't help it if I like to watch people suffer. Uwee hee hee. It's just so much fun and I'm going to enjoy destroying everyone on this island.

• Love Redeems: Not really redeems, but she does try to tone down her behavior for Charlie.
• Love Triangle: With Missy for Charlie. She comes off as slightly the better option, although Charlie wants to be Just Friends with both of them.
• Morality Chain: Charlie. Although she never becomes good, she tries to act nicer around Charlie.

• Verbal Tic: "Uwee hee hee". It serves as an unnerving laugh to highlight her sociopath personality.

Arthur

I hope I don't let my team down. I know my inventions could be the key to victory... I just need to get them to work.

• Gadgeteer Genius: Though they do fail quite a lot of the time. He gets better as the season goes on.
• The Generic Guy: The author admits he doesn't have much to him outside his basic stereotype of an inventor.

Ashley

This is a thinking game. I know how to think and there's no way these brain-dead lumps are going to get the better of me.

• Small Name, Big Ego: She constantly talks about how smart and strategic she is while everyone else in the game is an idiot. She is then promptly eliminated first.
• We Hardly Knew Ye: Is the first one out at 16th place.

Charlie

Yeah, I'll admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. But that's not important; what's important is that I make some new friends. Like that Missy girl, she's so sweet.

• Love Triangle: With Alison and Missy. He'd rather be Just Friends with both of them.
• Morality Chain: For Allison, kind of.
• Nice Guy: The most out of anyone in the cast.

Chance

I'm just an ordinary guy. Yep, no secrets in my closet... Oh wait, did I say closet? I meant... uh, wardrobe... yep, no secrets in my wardrobe... I mean I don't even own a closet... uh, heh.

• Acrofatic: He does have trouble with sustained periods of exercise, but he still qualifies.
• Classical Anti-Hero—>Knight in Sour Armor: Towards the end, somewhat.
• Earn Your Happy Ending: Goes through more crap than anyone else in the story, and while he gains a more cynical side, he still wins the game, and accepts himself for who he is.
• The Hero
• Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Ken.
• Incompatible Orientation: Though he denies it, he has something of a crush on the Ken, who is heterosexual.
• Straight Gay: At first.
• Transparent Closet: To only the reader and Gene. Everyone else doesn't seem to notice

Collin

Okay, some of the girls on this team are kinda scary... in fact all of them are. (Sighs) Why do you mock me, fate?

• Expy: Of Cody.
• Morality Pet: For Zola.
• Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Inverted, he's the one who wants a nice, friendly girlfriend.
• Wrong Genre Savvy: In his audition he remarks that girls tend to say "It's not you, it's me," to him. He then states that this means that he's not doing anything wrong, he just hasn't found Miss Right yet.

Corrina

Okay, I know what you're thinking, and no, I'm not some crazy person. I just like to have fun all the time; life's too short to not enjoy it to its fullest.

• Blackmail: Does this to Chance over his sexuality.
• Expy: He certainly has a lot of similarities with Keith from Total Drama Stranded, written by the same author.
• Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Has a girlfriend back home who doesn't seem to mind him being a bit bad.
• Jerkass Has a Point: How he was able to get Charlie eliminated.
• My Greatest Second Chance: All-Stars is this for him.
• Smug Snake: Though it wears off quick when things don't go his way.
• Sore Loser: While Parrot has no shortage of these, his whining in particular takes the cake.
• Villainous Breakdown: One when Corrina rats him out, and again when he loses.

Ken

I'm here to prove a point, and that point is that just because someone likes sports, it doesn't mean they can't be a geek too. I may be closer to the physical build of Lightning, but I'm actually much more like Harold.

• Closet Geek: Completely averted. Though he's an athlete, a lot of it is to please his parents. His dream job is to be a comic book artist and he has no problems stating it publicly.
• The Generic Guy: The author even states he works better in supporting roles.
• Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Chance.

• Only Sane Man: The closest thing we get to a voice of reason.

• Braces of Orthodontic Overkill: Is stated in the first chapter to have braces. They're really never mentioned after that.

• Headphones Equal Isolation: In regards to technology, Kitty remarks that real life isn't the same as the online world she's used to, where typing "LOL JK" would fix her problems.

• My God, What Have I Done?: She plays at random because she wants to make things interesting. She realizes that her action have real consequences later on for the people around her.

• Wild Card: Wants to make the game interesting above all else. Comes back to bite her in the ass later on.

Kyle

I don't have anything to say, but I couldn't allow this confessional to end in the same gender it started in.

• Flat Character: Intentionally so.
• Gone Horribly Right: The author stated that he was supposed to be a one-note character the audience would hate. Most of the readers ended up liking him because he was so one-note.
• Stupid Neutral: Slips into this a few times when he takes his obsession with orderliness too far.

Mason

(Chuckles) Oh man, this is going to be great. I'm going to teach everyone here to fear me. I was put into prison for a reason after all.

You're looking at your winner right here. Not to sound arrogant or anything, but I've clearly been set up to be the positive protagonist, and that's the kind of person everyone wants to win.

• Dogged Nice Guy: Both a Rare Female Example and a Deconstruction.

• Love Triangle: With Alison for Charlie. Unlike Alison, she does not take Charlie's Just Friends proposal well when he asks this of both of them.
• Manic Pixie Dream Girl: And a failed one at that.
• Moral Myopia: She is perfectly fine punishing people the way she sees fit, but doing anything towards her is a crime, apparently.
• My Greatest Second Chance: Confirmed for All Stars, where she says she won't even bother being nice to "all of the awful people here" and be mercilessly cutthroat against them.
• Odd Friendship: One between her and Montana from Total Drama Refresh is emerging in All Stars.
• Sanity Slippage: Perhaps the biggest one in any of the author's series.
• Small Name, Big Ego: She thinks she's the fan favorite by a mile. The opposite couldn't be more true.
• Team Mom: Only in her mind.
• Woman Scorned: And how!
• Yandere: And Not Played for Laughs.

Simone

Back at school, I never got to go all "Queen Bee" on anyone, only the head cheerleader can do that. But they don't need to know that. I'm finally going to be the goddess I've always been meant to be.

• Action Girl: Only Corrina comes close to her in this department.
• Alpha Bitch: Deconstructed, she reveals only the head cheerleader is this and that she's at the bottom of both the hierarchy and pyramid.
• Anti-Hero: Unscrupulous Hero. She's Good Is Not Nice incarnate, but still has her moral standards.
• Determinator
• Dude, Where's My Respect?: She's tired of doing twice the work of others on her sqaud back home and getting no credit. It's implied that the rough edges of her personality are from a lack of recognition.
• Girlish Pigtails
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: All in all, she's more competitive than outright antagonistic.
• I Just Want to Be Special: She wants people to recognize her for her abilities. This is a major source of motivation for her to win.
• Invincible Heroine: Until the one time she fails, when everyone gangs up on her and votes her off.
• Odd Friendship: With Willow.
• Sore Loser: She declares herself the winner of the season, rather than admit she lost.
• Took a Level in Jerkass: Her immunity streak goes to her head quickly.

Willow

Heh, I kinda overreacted a bit there, didn't I? I swear, I'm trying to control my emotions, but just thinking of all the hate Twilight gets makes me mad. What would Bella think if she heard that stuff? (starts sniffing) I'm sorry, I just need a minute.

• Fashionable Asymmetry: Has a red highlight on on side of her face.
• Hair-Trigger Temper: When it comes to Twilight. Deconstructed as she is aware of how much of a problem it can be, and tries to control herself.
• Hidden Depths: Promises to show this in the All-Star Season during the "promo".
• Loony Fan: For Twilight.
• My Greatest Second Chance: Confirmed to be in the All-Star Season.
• Odd Friendship: With Simone.

Zola

I'm actually glad I got the team I did. It's clear that this is the "villains" team and someone's gotta keep them in line. Plus, it's better than the "crazies" team.

• Acrofatic: Though she occasionally pants after running.
• Big Beautiful Woman
• The Fashionista
• Surrounded by Idiots: Though she doesn't say it out loud, she clearly feels this way.
• Knight Templar: Begins to show shades of this after a few episodes, especially in regards to Alison.
• My Greatest Second Chance: Confirmed to be in the All-Star season.
• Odd Couple: With Collin.
• Reality Is Unrealistic: Her speech is peppered with little intentional misspellings, such as "I'mma" or "Whatcha", to give her character more of an urban flavor. It manages to actually work without the reader getting confused.
• Sassy Black Woman
• Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Against Alison.
• Third-Person Person: On occasion. Usually by calling herself "the Zola."

Allen

My team had better worship the ground I walk on 'cause you can bet that I'm gonna be the one winning all the challenges for them!

• Dumb Blonde: Didn't realize Jacquie insulted him until she explained it to him.
• It's All About Me: Just look at the quote above!
• Jerk Jock
• Properly Paranoid: It takes very little words from Jodi to get him thinking the team wants him gone. For somebody who claims to be 'strong' and an 'asset', hit takes little to make him paranoid.
• Social Darwinist
• Sore Loser: Gets very annoyed when his team loses a challenge, or even when he or a team mate screws up in a challenge even if they win regardless.
• Stronger Than They Look: Inverted. He's actually pretty bad at challenges unless he gets lucky, and yet his physique causes others to label him as a challenge threat.

Caleb

I've spent a lot of time as a camp counsellor. I've worked with some troubled kids, but I really just love helping however I can. I hope to use these skills out here as well.

• Full-Frontal Assault: Of the male variety, due to wearing an unbuttoned vest rather than a shirt.
• I Did What I Had to Do: His reason for eliminating Rudy and Orchid.

• Only Sane Man: On his dysfunctional team he stands out as probably the most level headed, or at least the calmest.

Cerise

I'll admit, I'm a bit of a stickler for following the rules. I just don't see why we can't play a good old fashioned honest game.

• Shrinking Violet: Though she can hold her own at times.

Hilary

I'm going to make like a living hell for my team. And you know what they're going to do about it? Absolutely nothing. As past seasons prove, villains go far, and the badder they are the better they do.

• Flat Character: Outside of being 'evil' she has no real personality.

Irene

• Blackmail: On the receiving end of it from the mystery villain, regarding past issues she does not want getting out.
• Break the Haughty: The mystery villain basically tortures her.
• Dark and Troubled Past
• Hidden Depths: Wants to change her bitchy image and be liked, and had some kind of dark history, that the mystery villain knows of.
• Only Sane Man: Sees herself as this on Team Blaineriffic.

Jacquie

You know what I love about this series. The villains. It's that cut-throat nature that makes this game so interesting. You'd better have an epic villain planned for this season, so I can help them dominate this show.

• Batman Gambit: In order to figure out who the mystery villain is, she tells every other member of the Final 6 a fabricated lie about herself, knowing that whoever the villain is will only use the lie she told them.
• Be Careful What You Wish For: Look at the quote above. Jacquie gets her wish in the form of a villain too horrible for even her to support, and the fact she was helping him all along unknowingly ... and he was the boy she loved.
• The Chew Toy: Gets hurt often, usually as a result of trying to get Rudy on her side.
• Character Development: Starts off as a bit of a fangirl to villainy, but by the merge, she realizes that villainy isn't something to be admired or toyed with.
• The Dragon: Tries to be this, and unknowingly becomes one to Neil.
• Ship Tease: Some of it with Neil which ends in tragedy when he turns out to be the mystery villain and faking all of it.
• Was It All a Lie?: Asks this to Neil when she learns he is the mystery villain ... and indeed it was ALL a lie.

Jodi

People always get eliminated by being stupid and making enemies. Me? I'm not even going to bother, since I know if I sit on the side some fool will shoot themselves in the foot sooner or later.

• Deadpan Snarker
• Jerkass: Quite snide behind the backs of her team mates.
• The Load: Allen thinks this of her. Justified due to Jodi not really doing much at camp due to her under the radar strategy, as well as Averted when she turns out to be helpful in a number of challenges.
• New-Age Retro Hippie: Downplayed, but is shown to enjoy things like new age tea, yoga, and karma.
• The Quiet One: Invokes this in order to get ahead in the game.
• Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: This is how she gets her team the win in episode ten. She swaps the team signs at the baskets and gets the opposing team to give her team the victory.

Loren

I love things that sparkle and shimmer oh so very much and I can't wait to share that with my team!

Let me tell you, social hierarchies are tough. I've been working to get in with the 'it' crowd at my school for years ... and I'm still only hanging on my a thread. I sure hope I don't get sent right back to the bottom out here with a whole new bunch of people.

• All of the Other Reindeer: Known to be a social outcast, with friends who did not send him a gift from home due to 'knowing' he'd not make the final 14. Knowing him, though, he probably has no friends to give him a gift.
• Anti-Villain: Sure he's aligned with Allen, Jacquie, and Rudy, but he's a nice enough guy. Of course, that's what he wants you to think.
• Big Bad
• Bitch in Sheep's Clothing
• Butt-Monkey: Downplayed, but he does seems to have pretty poor luck, especially when the mystery villain starts toying with him, however the latter point is Averted because he IS the mystery villain and made himself a victim to give himself an alibi.
• Evil Redhead
• Everything Is Online: Through hacking, this is how he manages to find out who the other contestants would be as well as their personal information.
• Faux Affably Evil
• Jerk with a Heart of Jerk
• Lack of Empathy: Never once shows a hint of remorse or guilt.
• Nice Guy: A bit shy, but overall pretty friendly. Until it's revealed that he's actually the Big Bad.
• Ship Tease: With Jacquie. All fake on his part.
• The Sociopath
• Vile Villain, Saccharine Show
• Walking Spoiler: Duh.
• Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Pretended to be one of the victims to throw off suspicion and secure Jacquie's trust.

Noriko

I'm so, so, so excited! Have I made that clear yet! There's ... there's trees! And .. and ... and vines and bushes and ... it's a jungle ... a whole jungle for me to explore! And that's not even getting to the game ... I can't wait! I just can't wait!

• Asian Airhead: Sweet, but not the smartest.

• Innocently Insensitive: She means well by treating Lynne as a celebrity for being a lesbian (thinking it will make her feel special) and doesn't realize it annoys her a fair bit.
• No Indoor Voice: She yells a lot of her lines.

Orchid

Many seem to consider blindness a disability, but not I. I may see differently from the rest of the world, but I still see beauty in everything.

• Blind Seer: Though it's not explicitly stated whether or not she has any actual powers.
• Disability Superpower: If not for the blindfold she always wears, you might not believe she was blind.
• Expy: Of Dawn.
• New-Age Retro Hippie: Her parents think she is going through a 'hippie phase'.
• The Omniscient: Seems to know more than she could feasibly know.
• Super-Senses: Her hearing is excellent, and she can sense how someone is feeling from the slightest deviation in their tone.

Reuvan

I know the way I look might freak a few people out, but I'm not changing who I am just to get people to like me. They'll have to deal with it.

• No Social Skills: To the point he gets everybody to hate him within one day.
• Straw Fan: Apparently he's based on some of the more opinionated Total Drama fans.

Rudy

I just love the feeling of inflicting pain on others. You can call me a monster if you want, I can't help it. I just get such a rush from suffering.

Sharidan

Am I afraid of being targeted due to my pre-existing extreme wealth? No! I wouldn't dare let anyone get away with that.

• Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Surprisingly good at manipulation and deceit, despite her very bad start to the season.

• The Starscream: To Strike.
• Token Minority: The only black contestant in the season.
• The Woman Behind the Man: To Strike.

Skye

This is going to be great! I can't wait to meet everyone and make new friends! I mean, who wouldn't want to be my best friend? No one, that's who.

• Expy: Her similarities to Missy have not gone unnoticed.
• Hypocrite: In spades. If soembody is 'mean' to her she goes mental at them, but it's ok for her to do it because she's a 'true friend'. Lynne lampshades this.

• One-Steve Limit: Not to be confused with the OTHER Sky.

• Sanity Slippage: Can become scarily obsessed with friendship at times.

Strike

Some kids have a passion for sports, or music, or even video games. Me? My passion is for winning.

• Hypocrite: Gets enraged when Noriko votes for him since he is her ally ... despite the fact he also voted for her.

• Noble Demon: Treats his alliance-mates with respect and values loyalty.
  • But if they go against a plan, all respect goes out the window.
• Pragmatic Villainy: Acts as the team's provider to help keep them in shape for the challenges.

• Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: Needless to say, Strike is not a common name.

Theodore
