    General

  • Villains Out Shopping: Every character in the mod, including the much more serious ones like The Tortured One, apparently has played or has watched a playthrough of VS OURPLE GUY and has a favorite song.

    Red Mist Squidward
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mcmsquidwardhumiliation.png
"Hello misery... I'm home..."
Click here to see him in Mist
Click here to see him in Doomsday

DO IT
A version of Squidward who shoots himself after getting booed following a bad clarinet performance. The main opponent of Mistful Crimson Morning, his songs are "Humiliation," "Mist," and "Doomsday".

    Canon Squidward
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/canonsquidwardv2.gif
"Now you're thinking random!"

OHH, THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! No one's ever returned! We're doomed to live in this insane asylum! - Squidward after seeing Canon Squidward.
A spooky Squidward head similar to Red Mist Squidward who actually appeared in the show, appearing in the episode SpongeBob in RandomLand (at least, until later versions cut him from the episode). He is fought in "Sanguilacrimae".

  • Ascended Meme: His existence is the result of the original Squidward's Suicide being referenced in Spongebob Squarepants itself, though he was eventually Bowdlerised out.
  • Black Blood: Due to coming from a canon episode, he cries black instead of red.
  • Expy Coexistence: He's inspired by Squidward's Suicide. He also happens to feature in a mod based on Squidward's Suicide. Downplayed as there's no story outside of the main week, making it ambiguous when or where Boyfriend fights Canon Squidward.
  • Facial Horror: He contorts his face rather wildly, with his up pose being the worst.
  • Flying Face: He's only a head.
  • Meaningful Name: "Sanguilacrimae" is a fancy word for Tears of Blood. Fitting for a form of Red Mist Squidward.

    The Tortured One
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mcmtortured_one.png
"I haven't forgotten, Krabs. Your Krabby Patty secret formula... IS ME. You stole a piece of me, all those years ago... AND WE WANT IT BACK!"

Do you know how sea stars feed? Let me show you.
A clone of Patrick who was used as the formula for the Krabby Patty and goes on a rampage on Bikini Bottom after the original Patrick ate an undercooked Krabby Patty and recieved the memories of the clone from it. It is fought in "Tortured."

  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Relative to the scale of Bikini Bottom, the Tortured One is tremendous in size, to the point that Titan Squidward (who is shown to be about twice the size of the Krusty Krab) is barely noticeable from how zoomed-out the camera has to be. If measured using the Krusty Krab as a scale, it would be around 8 feet tall, making it threateningly large even by human standards.
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: He was forced into having his regenerative skin being constantly torn off him to make Krabby Patties, giving him a burning hatred for the people of Bikini Bottom. He only desired one thing: Revenge.
  • Eldritch Abomination: In the perspective of the Bikini Bottomites, since realistically proportioned sea creatures are not a normal thing in the SpongeBob world.
  • Kaiju: This thing is a massive sea star that weaponizes its biological functions to terrorize Bikini Bottom. Even by the standards of real life, it's huge.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: His sprite is far more detailed than the average Friday Night Funkin’ character, resembling his appearance in the original comic.

    MeatCanyon SpongeBob
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/meatbob.gif
"Another beautiful day at the Krusty Krab. Another day, servicing the masses."

Was that good for you?

A grotesque version of SpongeBob who is used as the Krabby Patty formula. He is fought in "Satisfaction".

  • Body Horror: And how. His normally-square body is unnaturally deformed in various places, his arms, nose, eyelashes, and teeth are exaggerated in length to a ridiculous degree, and his pores are stretched open and pulsating as if they're breathing. Near the end of "Satisfaction", his body ends up partially melted to the grill.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: Of all the voice lines to take from the MeatCanyon short, the one that appears in "Satisfaction" (see above) probably has the most obvious sexual undertones.
  • Face of a Thug: Despite being a hideous mutant version of Spongebob, he's one of the friendliest characters in the mod, wanting only to bring satisfaction to the people of Bikini Bottom.
  • Foil:
    • To The Tortured One. Both are used as the "secret formula" to Krabby Patties in their respective universes, and can regenerate allowing for an infinite supply of Krabby Patties, but have very different feelings about it. The Tortured One is a clone of Patrick who was forced into slavery by Mr. Krabs and was repeatedly tortured by having his limbs cut off and used as the meat for Krabby Patties. Once he escaped his captivity, he took it upon himself to destroy all of Bikini Bottom as revenge towards everyone who has eaten his flesh. MeatCanyon SpongeBob is based off the titular character and willingly cooks his own flesh to make Krabby Patties. He doesn't even mind having his coworkers eat the flesh right off of him. SpongeBob remarks that he likely couldn't stop even if he wanted to, but is content with that because he enjoys serving the residents of Bikini Bottom and making them happy.
    • Also to Robot Chicken SpongeBob. MeatCanyon SpongeBob is from a gross out parody web animation on YouTube where he sees no problem in serving his own flesh to the people of Bikini Bottom and his coworkers, and is the the most disgusting character in the mod. Robot Chicken SpongeBob is a normal looking SpongeBob from a stop motion parody skit which aired on TV who exposes Mr. Krabs for killing other sea creatures, including his own kind, and serving them as food at his restaurant. He is absolutely repulsed by this and would hate seeing it happen to his own kind as well. MeatCanyon SpongeBob is the opponent in his song while Robot Chicken SpongeBob is the playable character in his.
  • Token Good Teammate: While he does look… strange, he ultimately only wants to keep the residents of Bikini Bottom happy.

    Faceless SpongeBob and Patrick
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/faceless_sb_and_patrick.png

Versions of SpongeBob and Patrick who are missing their faces, and briefly haunted Squidward until a mysterious figure took his face off as well. They are fought in "Dead Hope".

  • Adaptational Villainy: In their original creepypasta, Faceless, Spongebob and Patrick were victims, with the antagonist instead being an unnamed torturer. In this mod, however, they actively chase Boyfriend through the hall and are stated to remove people's faces for fun.
  • And I Must Scream: Quite literally; neither of them have a mouth (or any facial features), and in the creepypasta they constantly make muffled screaming sounds.
  • The Blank: As their names imply, their faces are completly missing.
  • Dual Boss: Both Spongebob and Patrick are fought simultaneously, though they take turns singing for most of the song.
  • For the Evulz: Word of God says that they like to take people's faces for fun.

    Served Plankton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/remasteredplenkton.gif
"What's the point of going on? I'll just be tortured for the rest of my life by that whale!"

That's it, I'm done. The 4:15 bus should be along any time now.
A Plankton who lets himself get run over by a bus in One Coarse Meal and then going to Hell. He is fought in "Served".

    Bootleg SpongeBob
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mcmbootleg_spongebob.png
"I'm a wreck without you!"

The current whereabouts of the tape are unknown, and many who stare at this image for a long enough period of time claim to see SpongeBob blink...
A creepy bloodshot-eyed and mouthless version of SpongeBob from a bootleg version of the episode Dumped. He is fought in the song "Dumped".

  • Adaptational Wimp: The original bootleg was a lot more successful at creeping people out, but this one is a 7 year old who tries desperately to be taken seriously.
  • Age Lift: SpongeBob was an adult in his original source, but here his bootleg counterpart is only seven.
  • Berserk Button: According to Word of God, he hates being called cute because he wants to be taken seriously.
  • The Comically Serious: He seemingly is rather annoyed when Boyfriend randomly pulls out a guitar at the end of "Dumped", as he keeps his angry face throughout the entire solo. He also gets angry throughout the song because he's trying to be edgy, but Boyfriend will not take him seriously.
  • Creepy Child: In this mod's continuity, he's seven years old, and he really wants to be taken seriously as a creepypasta character. He wrote his own creepypasta of origin according to invokedWord of God, and when he faces off with Boyfriend, he ends up not taking him seriously, much to his chagrin.
  • Hates Being Called Cute: Because he wants to be seen as scary, naturally.
  • Lighter and Softer: Granted, the original creepypasta was more subtle than most, but it's clearly played more for humour here.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Not only are his eyes red, but they're also the only thing present on his face besides his nose.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: He usually eats Tangy Cheese Doritos and he often begs for his mom to get him Unhappy Meals.
  • Television Portal: He emerges from the TV in all of his poses. When he isn't singing, only his hands are out of the TV. However, in the original creepypasta, there is no TV involved in which Bootleg SpongeBob emerges from.
  • Younger Than They Look: Word of God claims that this version of SpongeBob is 7 years old despite being based off an adult character.

    Robot Chicken Mr. Krabs
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rc_krabs.png
"I'm the last honest man in Bikini Bottom!"
You little yellow bastard! I treated you like a son, me boy!
A parody of Mr. Krabs who makes the Krabby Patties and other food from sea animals. He is fought in "Cannibalism".

  • Denser and Wackier: Since he's based off a comedy sketch, he's one of the three more lighthearted opponents, the others being Joe Mama Squidward and Coconut Fred.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: Seemingly everything he offers in the Krusty Krab is made out of his fellow Bikini Bottomites, most notably the Krabby Patties being actual crab meat.
  • Never My Fault: When accused by SpongeBob of feeding people the flesh of other sea animals, he claims in the original sketch to be the only honest man in Bikini Bottom who's adhering to how nature designed them.

    Dehydrated SpongeBob
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dehydrated_spongebob.png
"I don't need it. I don't need it. I definitely don’t need it. I don't need it... I don't need it... I don't need it... I don't need it..."

I NEEEEEEEEED IT!!!
A SpongeBob who went into Sandy's Treedome without a bowl to keep him hydrated, leaving him looking rather creepy. He is fought in "Dehydration".

  • Non-Standard Character Design: His sprite is a 3D model, something non-standard for Friday Night Funkin’ mods in general and especially this mod.
  • Skyward Scream: Lets out a big one in the middle of "Dehydrated", presumably from how thirsty he is.
  • Token Good Teammate: He's not murderous or suicidal like most of the others. He's just regular ol' SpongeBob, but really, really thirsty. Subverted in the 2.0 version of "Dehydrated", where he chases after Boyfriend in order to quench his thirst.

    Joe Mama Squidward
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/joe_mama_new.png
DON'T ASK WHO JOE IS
I do not know who Joe is, tell me.
A parody version of Squidward who discourages people from questioning who Joe is. He is fought in "Joe Mama".

  • Denser and Wackier: Since he's based off a meme, he's one of the three more lighthearted opponents, the other ones being Robot Chicken Mr. Krabs and Coconut Fred.
  • Heroic BSoD: Experiences one when Mean Boyfriend tells him who Joe is.
  • Irrational Hatred: Word of God confirms he despises the Five Nights at Sonic's series.
  • What's a Henway?: He doesn't want you to ask who Joe is because it's actually Joe Mama. The start of "Joe Mama" has him be a victim of the question, courtesy of Mean BF.

    Coconut Fred
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mcm_coconut_fred.png
Yay, me!
The main protagonist of Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island, infamous for being known as a SpongeBob knockoff. He is fought in "Plagerize".

  • Denser and Wackier: The third opponent to be more lighthearted than the rest, following Robot Chicken Mr. Krabs and Joe Mama Squidward.
  • Final Boss: He can only be fought once the player has beaten all of the other songs in Freeplay.
  • Reality Warper: He can manifest things just by thinking about them.

Playable Characters

    General

    Titan Squidward
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mcm_titan_squidward.png
"Your reign of cruelty is over!"
There are more stars in heaven than can be dreamt of in your philosophy, Sandy... But if you ask me, the sea has a few too many.

A stronger version of Squidward who transformed into a more realistic deception of him to fight The Tortured One in "Tortured".

  • Adaptational Heroism: While the canon Squidward is a Jerkass who doesn't care for anyone but himself most of the time, this depiction of him is a hero who willingly stands up to defend his town and its people.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Downplayed. He is twice the size of the Krusty Krab, but is still very small when compared to The Tortured One.
  • Kaiju: He's twice the size of the Krusty Krab and is an inhuman creature. Too bad The Tortured One still towers over him as well.

    Meatcanyon Boyfriend
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/upcomingmcbf.png
Boyfriend, as he's depicted in Meatcanyon's art style, looking exactly as disturbing as you'd expect him to be. He's the player character of "Satisfaction".
  • Body Horror: An additional blueball is inside his cap and his microphone is fused to his hand. As if that wasn't bad enough, the microphone is actually a fetus containing his unborn child.

    Robot Chicken SpongeBob
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mcm_rc_spongebob.png
"And it’s not just crabs! Squidward! Those calamari rings are SQUID! And your Chicken of the Sea salad? HA! Tuna! TUUUNAAAA!!"
"Krabby Patties are made out of crab!"

A parody of SpongeBob who exposes Mr. Krabs for using sea animals to make the Krusty Krab food. He is the playable character in "Cannibalism".

  • Beat Them at Their Own Game: "Cannibalism" as a song treats him as though he's the opponent, starting the song off with Krabs repeating after him. This is mostly due to SpongeBob coming at Krabs with the accusations and Krabs only retorting offensively once.
  • Dramatic Irony: In a way. At the end of the song, he notes that he's glad that "nothing disgusting ever happens to a sponge…". Lo and behold, he shares a mod with a version of SpongeBob who's used in the Krabby Patty secret formula, who's also likely the most disgusting opponentnote .
  • Foil: To his MeatCanyon equivalent; Robot Chicken SpongeBob is disgusted with Mr. Krabs using sea creatures in his food, while MeatCanyon SpongeBob is not only content with it, but is the secret ingredient to his world's Krabby Patties.
  • Orphaned Setup: He notes at the end of the song that he's thankful nothing disgusting ever happens to a sponge. In the original skit, the show cuts to an ad displaying what sponges are used for in real life, but the song just ends after he says this. MeatCanyon SpongeBob makes up for it somewhat by being much more disturbing and gross than the original skit's punchline, but the song order places "Satisfaction" before "Cannibalism."

    Horror Tales Girlfriend
A version of Boyfriend's... well girlfriend who ends up being the one to face off against Horror Tales Patrick instead of him. She is the playable character of "Massacre".
  • Adaptational Modesty: Unlike the red dress and shoes she wears in the base game and in most of her appearances in the mod, here she's in a more conservative, though form fitting, sweater, jeans and a pair of socks.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Unlike her usual Brainless Beauty self, Girlfriend here fully grasps the danger of her current situation here, considering her terrified expressions in both her idle animation and her poses.

Cancelled Characters

    Lies Fish
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hyper_realistic_lies_fish.png
Do you really think your lies will get you far?
An evil version of the fish that appears in Nickelodeon's 2002 channel intro coming from the creepypasta "Lies". While it has little confirmed bearing on the pasta's plot, it is widely seen as its antagonist, causing Spongebob to take pills that turn him into a homicidal maniac. It was going to appear in the song "Lies" against a playable Pico.
  • Adaptational Abomination: Twice over. The original fish was simply a logo used for a channel intro with no character, but the creepypasta has it appear in the episode itself as a jarring vision that possibly causes Spongebob to take hallucinatory pills. While little is known about the mod's version of the fish, the song "Lies" has an ethereal tone and gives it a screeching, inhuman voice never mentioned in the creepypasta.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: In its origin creepypasta, it only appears in the episode's intro and one time near the beginning, but it's presumably what caused Spongebob to take the pills that kickstart the plot.

    Goated Amongly Squidward
“Now that's impressive, but you must of forgot. I'm the Goat upon Men. The defender of Ratioality. I am the blueprint. I AM GOATED AMONGLY SQUIDWARD, AND NONE ARE IMMUNE TO MY RATIO STORM I AM A RATIO GOD. AND YOU'RE NOTHING WITHOUT FORTNITE.”
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/goatedamonglysheet.jpg
Goat upon men, defender of ratioality.
A Memetic Badass version of Squidward based on a gimmick Twitter account with an obsession with Fortnite. He was slated to appear in "Blueprint".
  • Joke Character: If his name wasn't enough to make this clear, his obsession with Fortnite certainly will.
  • Memetic Badass: He is treated by both the Twitter account and the dev team as a badass hero, despite him being an obvious joke character.

    MOMAZOS DIEGO
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/momazosdiegofresh.png
A Joke Character based on the logo of an SDLG meme page, which uses a stock image of Squidward.
  • Incredibly Lame Fun: According to Word of God, his favorite song from VS OURPLE GUY is "Beatbox"... a 16-second joke song in a mod filled to the brim with Awesome Music.
  • Joke Character: Other than being used in a meme page's logo, any form of personality in the character is practically non-existent. Even his "appearance" is just a stock image of Squidward with no changes.
  • Surprisingly Creepy Moment: His up pose has him brutally tearing off his own face with a ghastly scream and muscles visible underneath the skin — quite a contrast to the character being put in as a joke.

    Animatronic Squidward
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/animatronicsquidwardanim.gif
A robotic animatronic based on Squidward hailing from the Five Nights at Freddy's fan-game Five Nights at the Krusty Krab. It was originally scrapped from the mod's initial release but was now planned to appear in the 2.0 update, only for it to be scrapped for good with the mod's cancellation.
  • Medium Blending: His revealed sprites are rendered fully in 3D, similar to Dehydrated Spongebob. It's unknown if it's a case of this or an Art Shift, however.
  • Sole Survivor: In a meta sense; there were plans to add all the animatronic enemies from FNATKK, but as of 2.0, only Squidward is confirmed to return.

    Teuthida / Starvedward
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/starvedsquedward.gif
"I'll Blast tha Bob...."
Aheh, aheh! Tonight, we rehearse for the greatest concert to ever be held, crustacean. A symphony unmatched by even Neptune himself. And you've got the lead role. Won’t you join me...?
Remember Starved from Vs Sonic.exe? Well, it’s exactly that, but instead of Eggman, it’s Squidward. Squidward’s become a cannibal and has been killing the residents of Bikini Bottom to quell his appetite.

He was planned for the 2.0 update to appear in the song "Bold or Brash", but with the mod's cancellation, he's been moved to "Hit Single", a mod by Churgney Gurgney, the voice actor for Teuthida and composer of the song.

  • Adaptational Dumbass: Teuthida is based on Starved, but instead of being a ravenous cannibalistic Robotnik, it's Squidward, meaning he lacks Starved's genius intellect and robotics skill.
  • Affably Evil: Like his inspiration, he puts on an air of civility, as shown in his fancy monologue shown above. Don't be fooled, however; he is a raging cannibal who plans to consume as much of Bikini Bottom's populace as possible.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Inverted. Teuthida's skin is an incredibly dark blue, but he’s far from what a hero is even close to.
  • Body Horror: Again, like the original Starved. His skin's gone a deep blue from malnutrition, with his lips peeled back and his nose having dropped off.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: According to Churgney Gurgney, the voice actor for Teuthida, Teuthida's cannibalism was caused by a Soul-Corrupting Clarinet, given to him anonymously by Plankton, who forged the clarinet with the help of The Flying Dutchman and King Neptune. And all this just so Plankton could finally steal the Krabby Patty Formula.
  • Composite Character: His alternate name is Starvedward, so you can probably guess which two characters he’s supposed to be a combination of.
  • Does Not Like Spam: The only sea creature he doesn't like to eat is snails.
  • Dragon Ascendant: His official canon mentions he kills Teuthida Plankton, either as an act of revenge or a showcase that not even the people that are on Teuthidas side are safe from his appetite.
  • Expy: Take a wild guess.
  • Evil Is Hammy: Lifted from Starved are his poses and overall tone. Either Teuthida's loving his current situation, or it's an indicator despite the Horror Hunger, there is still some of the original Squidward buried underneath his famine.
  • Hero Killer: He's already killed and partially eaten Spongebob, who's corpse can be seen in teaser footage; there's less of the poor bastard then there was of Sonic in the original "Fight or Flight".
  • Original Generation: Downplayed; unlike every other character in this mod, Teuthida was created purely for it, though he is based off one of the scrapped characters from Vs Sonic.exe.
  • Homage: His song is one long tribute to the unfinished "Fight or Flight" song that was going to be put into the cancelled 3.0 update for Sonic.exe; the setup, perspective, background detail, and Teuthida's poses are styled after the version of the song added to the cancelled build. The song's even composed by the same guy.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: Or technically pescatarian given that he’s eating sea creatures. And unlike Eggman, there's no real separate superspecies for him to differentiate. Bottom line is he's eating people.
  • Lighter and Softer: Teuthida is implied to be less of a major threat than Starved, as he's only targeting a single city as opposed to two entire islands and he lacks Robotnik's robot army to help him collect and devour his prey. Not to mention, instead of the meek Tails, Bold or Brash has him fight the navy veteran Eugene Krabs, who is not afraid in the slightest of him.
  • Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: If anything, he's just a Serial Killer, lacking his inspiration's genius, but in the light-hearted world of Bikini Bottom, this is plenty more than enough for shit to hit the fan. So when the navy veteran Mr. Krabs shows up, he's given a bigger run for his money than Starved ever would have against anybody in his own world.
  • Mascot Mook: Before being announced to have his own song, he was basically the mascot of the mod's Twitter account, being its PFP and featuring in a lot of promotional material.
  • Meaningful Name: Teuthida is the latin name for squid.
  • Rule of Drama: Spongebob's ability to regenerate his body is ignored for the sake of the song's story.
  • Sapient Eat Sapient: The Bikini Bottomites are all sapient and Teuthida eats them, put two and two together.
  • Uncertain Doom: Compared to Starved, Teuthida actually loses his fight against Mr. Krabs, but we're left to wonder exactly what happened to him. Though, considering he had quite the rough reaction and that the collapse of the building is heard, it can't have been pretty.
"Oh, fuck! Oh my god! GAH-!"

     Teuthida Plankton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/teuthidaplanktonanim.gif
Plankton in Teuthida's universe, who's also based off of Starved. He would've appeared in the song "Famished".
  • Facial Horror: Much like Teuthida, Plankton's lips have peeled back from malnutrition and his eye has gone pitch black.
  • Greater-Scope Villain/The Man Behind the Man: As Churgney Gurgney revealed in a tweet, Plankton is the one responsible for Squidward becoming Teuthida, having anonymously gifted Squidward a Soul-Corrupting Clarinet that he forged with the help of the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune, all to ensure that he'd finally be able to steal the Krabby Patty Formula.
  • Villain Team-Up: With The Flying Dutchman and King Neptune.

    Eugene Krabs
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/teuthidamrkrabs.gif
The version of Mr. Krabs from Teuthida’s timeline. He takes the role of protagonist in this turn of events as he’s currently the only one who can put a stop to his ex-employee’s rampage. He's the player character in Teuthida's song, “Bold or Brash”.
  • Adaptational Heroism: In canon, Mr. Krabs, while usually well-meaning, is a money-grubbing cheapskate willing to nickel and dime his costumers and employees for everything they’re worth. In this world, he’s essentially the last line of defense before Bikini Bottom completely goes into ruin.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Unlike his opponent, this trope is played straight. Mr. Krabs’ ghost-warding outfit, which he wears in “Bold or Brash”, has had a few changes from its canon counterpart; the previously-yellow flames in the lanterns and the formerly-green wires are now blue.
  • Decoy Protagonist: Suprisingly, Krabs would actually die to Teuthida after "Bold Or Brash", according to Teuthidas official canon, leaving Bikini Bottoms ultimate fate in the hands of Patrick and Ms. Puff.
  • Expy: To the Starved universe’s Tails, as he’s one of the survivors of Teuthida’s wrath and possibly the only one who can stop him like how Tails was in the Starved canon.
  • Good Counterpart: To the Robot Chicken and MeatCanyon versions of him; while both willingly use sentient sea life (willing and unwilling) in their food, this Krabs is actively fighting to stop that happening to them. Meta-wise, he's also this to The Tortured One's Mr. Krabs, who was guilty of the same thing.
  • Lighter and Softer: He's still got all his limbs intact, which is more than one can say for Starved's version of Tails, and he's seemingly on the offensive rather than defensive.
  • Nerves of Steel: Unlike Tails, Mr. Krabs is not afraid of Teuthida whatsoever. Justified as he once went to war in the Bikini Bottom Navy, which makes Teuthida's carnage look like a twig by comparison.
  • Red Is Violent: His shell is red, and unlike Tails, who's a young child scared out of his mind during his confrontation with Robotnik, he's more than capable of taking on Teuthida. Justified as he's not afraid of Teuthida and served in the Bikini Bottom Navy.

    Diesel Dreaming SpongeBob
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dieseldreamingspongebob.gif
"Y'know, I've never noticed there was a race track right in my front yard."
A version of SpongeBob from Sponge Bob Square Pants Creature From The Krusty Krab whose bed has transformed into a race car.
  • Drives Like Crazy: He has the attitude of a dedicated racer, but it comes at the cost of his sanity.
  • Expy: To Racist Mario from Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness, as both are insane versions of the franchise's main character driving a race car. Though Diesel Dreaming SpongeBob is based off canon material, plays fair, and doesn't make offensive remarks like Racist Mario.
  • Shout-Out: The end of his song uses the sound that plays when a race is finished in Mario Kart.
  • Token Good Teammate: He's once again just a form of the canon SpongeBob from a video game like with dehydrated SpongeBob.

    Leatherface Patrick
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/horrortalespatrick.png
A version of Patrick originating from the SpongeBob Horror Tales comic. He is a serial killer shown to have killed Squidward, and faces Girlfriend rather than Boyfriend. He's the opponent in "Massacre".
  • Genuine Human Hide: Or rather squid hide, since he killed his version of Squidward and wears his face.

    Ronald Reagan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ronaldreagenanim_8.gif
"Just say no to pissing me off."
The 40th U.S. president and the leader of the X-Presidents, who hires SpongeBob to participate in a propaganda skit. But after the sponge expresses his discomfort with the racist implications, Ronald locks him up in order to blackmail him into staying. He's the opponent in "Propaganda".

    SNL SpongeBob
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/spongebobcageanim.gif
"I-I don't even have a computer!."
A version of Spongebob voiced by his canon voice actor who was hired to record for an American propaganda skit on Saturday Night Live. But after realizing what exactly he was promoting, he politely tried to leave before getting locked up and blackmailed. He'd the playable character in "Propaganda".
  • Distressed Dude: Gets locked up in a cage after trying to escape from a skit he didn't feel comfortable doing. The Powerpuff Girls did try to save him, but failed.

    The Hash Slinging Slasher
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hashslinginganim.gif
The Villain Protagonist of a scary story that Squidward told SpongeBob to scare him. He's the opponent in "He Gets Ya".
