I.M.P (Immediate Murder Professionals)

    Lincoln Loud
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__lincoln_loud_redesign_by_terrorking10_dfmkas63.png
The protagonist. An eleven-year-old (later twelve-year-old) white-haired middle-schooler with 10 sisters (he's the middle child) whose soul is cursed to Hell after an encounter with an Evil teacher. He works alongside I.M.P as an unpaid intern, serving as their chief tactician during missions. Because of the curse that afflicts him, he can utilize demonic magic from the grimoire, as well as from artifacts he gains later in the story. He is well-meaning, compassionate, and less prone to violence than his coworkers, but Lincoln will defend himself and his cohorts when the chips are down. As the story progresses, it is implied that Lincoln might be transforming into a demon due to his curse, albeit slowly. Despite the position that he is in, Lincoln still has the resolve to break the curse and return home while trying to keep his humanity intact and always has a plan up his sleeve—he's in Hell after all, he's got to!
  • Ambiguously Human: Later chapters in the story imply Lincoln may slowly be turning into a demon, but not even Stolas is sure if that's truly the case.
  • Animal Motifs: He's frequently mistaken for a rabbit, and when he manifests his Superpowered Evil Side, his shadow resembles a demonic jackalope.
  • Berserk Button: He does not like it when people badmouth his family, adopted and biological. He loses it with C.H.E.R.U.B. when they accuse I.M.P. of mistreating him, and later with Striker when he threatens to find and murder his human family.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: A sweet, kindhearted, and idealistic boy he is, Lincoln will not hesitate to call others out on their negativity or fight back if pushed to it. And Heaven and Hell help you if you insult either of his families...
  • Black Eyes of Crazy: When Lincoln's demonic side activates, his scleroses turns black while his pupils turn red.
  • Broken Pedestal: He becomes disillusioned by Heaven after he watches C.H.E.R.U.B try to save a remorselessly evil man like Lyle over the countless more deserving of divine intervention and realizing they only even care about saving him for what he could bring to Heaven's table over the altruistic desire to save his soul.
  • Chick Magnet: Chastity is like sugar to a succubus. Verosika and the girls in her crew can hardly keep themselves away from him when they detect this. Then they start falling for him for real because of his nice nature. It gets even worse in "OZZIE'S", where he goes to the Lust Ring to ensure Blitzø doesn't ruin Moxxie and Millie's anniversary date, and he is swiftly propositioned by many of the locals, much to his discomfort.
  • Children Are Innocent: When asked by Millie in Chapter 5 if he knew what porn was, Lincoln responds, "only that my parents tell me to wait until I'm older." However, this becomes increasingly downplayed as the story goes on, where Lincoln grows desensitized to all the violence and coarseness he is surrounded by to the point of starting to engage in such acts himself.
  • Child Prodigy: It may be because of the curse, but Lincoln turns out to be a natural when it comes to using demonic magic. This is proven when he grows a massive tree when Stolas expected it to be the size of a flower.
  • Conditioned to Accept Horror: Deconstructed; part of the reason Lincoln refuses to be violent is because he fears he'll enjoy it and take it as a sign that he's losing his humanity.
  • Conflicting Loyalty: He admits to Loona in Chapter 14 that he's becoming torn between wanting to go back to Earth and stay in Hell, having grown to see I.M.P. as a second family but doesn't want to replace his biological family.
  • Corruption of a Minor: One of the central focuses of the story is how much residing in Hell is affecting Lincoln, from causing him to grow passive towards the chaos he's constantly surrounded by to his soul being corrupted in a way that could potentially turn him into a demon.
  • Dirty Kid: While under the effects of the truth serum, Lincoln admits that he enjoyed the Marshmallow Hell Verosika subjected him to in addition to the affection the rest of her posse showed him.
  • Dragged Off to Hell: The result of the ritual being incomplete is that, while Lincoln isn't turned into a demon, Hell recognizes his soul as belonging to it, so he's yanked down to there when I.M.P opens their portal. If Lincoln spends too much time on Earth, he'll be dragged back to Hell.
  • Emotional Powers: Overlaps with You Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Angry!; Lincoln's magic powers eventually start reacting to his negative emotions, which Stolas theorizes is because Hell is corrupting Lincoln's soul as he continues to reside there.
  • Enraged by Idiocy: Even before his Character Development, he was prone to Facepalm when I.M.P.'s members were making stupid decisions (which is practically all the time). After he Took a Level in Jerkass, he openly screams at people for that.
  • Foil: Interestingly serves as one to Eddie from the pilot. Eddie was a snot-nosed brat who insulted I.M.P. and ends up in Hell after accidentally getting shot by Moxxie, only to be killed by Blitz once Loona found out he was a target. In contrast, Lincoln is a kindhearted boy who aids the demons and his residence in Hell is due to a curse placed upon him by an Evil Teacher.
  • Foreshadowing: A Running Gag in the story is other demons mistaking Lincoln for a rabbit, due to his white hair and buck tooth. However, it could have been alluding to his Superpowered Evil Side in "Truth Seekers", where his shadow takes on the form of a Demonic Jackalope.
  • The Heart: Overlaps with Morality Chain; in a world inhabited by the most cynical souls ever, Lincoln stands out by being the most idealistic and rational one of the whole cast. For that, Lincoln begins to bring out the good in folks like Loona and Octavia, albeit gradually.
  • Innocent Means NaĂŻve: Subverted. Lincoln doesn't deserve to be in Hell, but he's not blind to his co-worker's jobs, his situation, or the world around him.
  • Killer Rabbit: The denizens of Hell keep assuming that Lincoln is a rabbit demon because of his buck teeth and white hair. His shadow when he's accessing his latent demon powers morphs into the form of a demonic jackalope.
  • Magnetic Hero: His genuine non-Jerkass nature makes him incredibly popular among the normally cynical souls of Hell.
  • Martial Pacifist: Lincoln only turns to violence as a last resort. Otherwise, he prefers to be civil with others.
  • Morality Pet: While I.M.P. are still trained killers, Lincoln does manage to bring out more of their good side. Even Loona and Blitzo lighten up around him.
  • Oh, Crap!: Lincoln says, "Oh Crumbs!" when Stella shows up at Stolas's palace.
  • Only Sane Man: Even more so than Moxxie; Lincoln is the only one of the group that tries to be rational or use common sense. A good example would be in "C.H.E.R.U.B", where he's the only one to see I.M.P's attempts to get Lyle to end his life as an unnecessary waste of time and questions why they don't just simply off the old man like they were assigned to. Not that the team listens anyway.
  • Outside-Context Problem: Aside from his entrapment in hell being well outside of Lincoln's usual shenanigans, the boy is also at the epicenter of one as an innocent human's soul being bound to Hell has never happened before in Hell's long history. Nobody, even Stolas, is sure of how to fix his problem.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Apparently, just wearing a simple hoodie is enough for other demons to not realize he's a human.
  • Power Crutch: Lincoln can only cast spells with Stolas' Grimore. Downplayed after the events of "Truth Seekers", where Lincoln starts becoming capable of casting spells without the need of said book, but it's still clear he has a long ways to go.
  • Power-Strain Blackout: Lincoln often experiences fatigue whenever he taps into demonic magic, presumably because he's not as equipped for it as Stolas or even Octavia is, but as his powers grew more advanced, it started reaching the point where he would faint after prolonged use.
  • Precision F-Strike: Lets one out in Chapter 11 when Striker threatens to kill Lincoln's family, both I.M.P and his real one on Earth. This is especially notable, considering it's the first time we hear Lincoln swear in the whole story (barring a brief exclamation of "What the hell?" in the first chapter).
Lincoln: You wanna know what I think? (eyes turn red) Fuck you!
  • Punch-Clock Villain: Lincoln is a Nice Guy working for I.M.P., largely because he has no other options to survive in Hell. However, the experience of working for demons is slowly wearing away at Lincoln's objections to violence.
  • "Reason You Suck" Speech:
    • In "C.H.E.R.U.B", Lincoln harshly chews out the eponymous angels for helping scumbags like Lyle for purely selfish reasons while ignoring others (like himself) who are in need of genuine help.
    • In "Ozzie's", he finds Blitzo deliberately making things From Bad to Worse in his spying on Moxxie and Millie by bringing in Stolas to be too much for him, and lays into him that he is going too far, and not stopping because his boss needs to hear what he has to say.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Because of the curse inflicted on him, Lincoln's eyes turn red whenever he gets angry.
  • Sanity Has Advantages: His calm and milquetoast persona means he's more capable of tactical planning than his bloodthirsty cohorts. Also, his genuine Nice Guy nature means he endears himself easily to the cynical denizens of Hell.
  • Shared Family Quirks: In Chapter 17, "Teacher", Lincoln uses Moxxie's 'Oh Crumbs!' line when Stella shows up.
  • The Shadow Knows: Lincoln's shadow takes on the form of a demonic Jackalope whenever his dark half manifests.
  • Stating the Simple Solution: Combined with Why Don't You Just Shoot Him? In "C.H.E.R.U.B.", he very bluntly points out that getting Lyle Lipton to commit suicide is a waste of time and advocates simply killing him there and then. Blitzø acknowledges that he's right, but messing with C.H.E.R.U.B. is too much fun.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: While he doesn't object to I.M.P. going about their killing business, Lincoln himself hasn't killed anyone directly, nor does he want to. While it's mainly because he's a young kid who doesn't like violence in general, it also stems from his worries that he'll develop a taste for bloodshed.
  • Token Good Teammate: Even more so than Moxxie is; Lincoln is the least prone to unnecessary violence and prefers a support role over getting his hands bloody during jobs. And just like Moxxie, Lincoln is bothered by the idea of killing good people.
  • Token Human: Because of the curse rendering him stuck in Hell without needing to be dead first, Lincoln remains a human and obviously sticks out in a world inhabited by demons of a wide variety of species. However, it's implied he may slowly be turning into a demon himself.
  • Took a Level in Badass: From an Iron Butt Monkey and Cosmic Plaything to the person who can scare and beat the Asmodeus themself.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: While Lincoln doesn't become evil or bloodthirsty, he grows less and less hesitant to use violence or call people out for their stupidity.
  • Violence Really Is the Answer: Played With; Lincoln doesn't want to participate in killing people, but his encounters with people like Martha and Lyle made him realize that there are indeed people on Earth who truly deserve death.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: Even putting aside the fact that everybody in Hell is a lunatic to some degree, Lincoln is a fountain of wisdom and maturity for someone that just barely started middle school.
    Blitzø
The founder and boss of the Immediate Murder Professionals (I.M.P). He created the business to make a name for himself and his colleagues. He is very energetic but incompetent when he tries to motivate his employees to do a better job, and often annoys his workers (mostly Moxxie and Loona) with his personality and decisions. When Lincoln was cursed but now can access the magics of the grimoire, Blitzø decides to hire him as an unpaid intern. He often gets annoyed about Lincoln's idealism and common sense, but despite their different views, it's shown that Blitzø does indeed care for Lincoln even though he doesn't show it.
  • Adaptational Intelligence/Adaptational Expansion: Downplayed. In canon show his... quirks and moments of being jerk are heavily implied to be a result of a good understanding of the world and rough life. Here, it's openly shown.
  • Drives Like Crazy: Unlike canon where Blitzø at least drives like a normal sane person (usually), here he completely fits this trope. Where to start? In the first chapter, he steals a car and causes traffic jams and accidents throughout Royal Woods. In the fourth chapter, he releases a steering wheel, causes traffic jams again, and nearly crashes. Lincoln even thinks that riding in Vanzilla with broken brakes is much safer than riding in a car when Blitzø is driving.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Blitz doesn't really give much of a shit about Lincoln, but even he thinks it's cruel that the boy ended up in Hell for something out of his control. He also tries to keep Lincoln safe during their often dangerous missions.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: He's genuinely surprised that Lincoln isn't a selfish brat.
  • Pet the Dog: As much of a Jerkass he can be, Blitzø will reward others for helping him, such as when Lincoln's strategy allowed him to get away with cheating in a boxing ring, he rewarded him by using some of his ill-gotten gains to put some furnishings into Lincoln's room.
  • Running Gag: He loves to remind Lincoln that he's an unpaid intern.
  • Threat Backfire: He'll frequently threaten to dock Lincoln's pay if the latter gets snippy or disobedient, but since he doesn't pay Lincoln at all, this never works.
  • Virtue Is Weakness: He sees Lincoln's idealism as a weakness, claiming the boy should be looking out for himself rather than others.
    Moxxie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__daddy_moxxie_by_terrorking10_df7mx0p_pre.jpg
An imp who serves as the weapons expert for I.M.P. Just like his wife Millie, he can be very cold-blooded when on the job, but draws the line at killing innocent people. He acts as the voice of reason in the group which often gets ignored, much to his annoyance. Upon meeting Lincoln, he bonds with him. Even though he feels bad about the condition that Lincoln is in, Moxxie tries to be the best father he can be, which he proves later in the story, and is grateful that Lincoln is the only other person aside from his wife that truly respects him.
  • Evil Parents Want Good Kids: Zigzagged; as with Millie, Moxie doesn't want Lincoln to develop a taste for bloodlust. This despite wanting him to participate in the assassination business (though he's a little more reluctant than Millie in this regard).
  • Good Parents: Despite being an assassin, he also tries to be the best father he can be with Lincoln.
  • Parental Substitute: It takes him a while to realize it, but he does admit under the effects of truth gas that he sees Lincoln as his son, and even if he's still an assassin, he tries to be a good role model for the boy.
    Millie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__mommy_millie_by_terrorking10_df524mh_pre.jpg
A fellow employee at I.M.P. and Moxxie's wife. Always cheerful and not afraid to speak her mind, Millie serves as the bruiser for I.M.P, getting very bloodthirsty and violent when on the job. Just like her husband, she wastes no time establishing herself as Lincoln's mother and loves the little boy with a passion. She is also very protective of Lincoln, so if you know what's good for you, do not so much as threaten him.
  • Adaptational Expansion: The story reveals various things from her past that have yet to be explored in her respective series, such as apparently chomping off the fingers of some of her past school teachers. Also, Millie is a Satellite Character to Moxxie in canon, whereas she has more interactions with other characters in the story (Lincoln especially).
  • Affably Evil: Millie is nothing but sweet to Lincoln... but she makes it clear that she has no problem with assassination and can be very cold-blooded when the situation calls for it.
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: While Lincoln doesn't mind the affection—if anything, he welcomes it as a breath of fresh air from the cynicism the other Demons display—Millie can be a little too smothering of Lincoln sometimes.
  • Evil Parents Want Good Kids: Zigzagged; as much as she wants Lincoln to partake in their killing business, Millie does what she can to ensure that Lincoln does not succumb to The Power of Hate.
  • Good Parents: Despite being an assassin that thoroughly enjoys killing, she is also an absolutely doting mother towards Lincoln. This is even shown that while she has no problems bringing Lincoln with her on jobs, she absolutely refuses to bring him to the Lust ring.
  • Hidden Depths: "Loo Loo Land" revealed she's a pretty good baker (and can do so without Moxxie's aid).
  • Knight Templar Parent: She hates Verosika Mayday due to the latter's attraction to Lincoln (though given his age, can you blame her?). In "OZZIE'S", she is adamant that Lincoln should not set foot in the Lust Ring, as his youth, looks, and virginity could lead to him being targeted by the locals—and she's proven correct.
  • Mama Bear: That protectiveness that leads her to turn anybody that threatens her husband into a greasy smear? She's no less overprotective of her (adopted) son.
  • Parental Substitute: As far as she's concerned, she is Lincoln's mother, minus the substitute part. She has zero problems in all but officially adopting the boy and repeatedly refers to herself as his mommy or him as her baby.
    Loona
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__siblings_by_terrorking10_dfx0emf_fullview.png
A hellhound who acts as the receptionist for I.M.P, and the adopted daughter of Blitzø. Loona is cynical, choleric, and mean-spirited. She has a short fuse when she is pushed and is rude toward her colleagues, Moxxie being her usually target. She doesn't take her job seriously in the slightest and prefers to spend more time on her phone, however when out on the field, she's a fierce addition to the team becoming logical, resourceful and street smart when motivated. She gets very annoyed when Blitzo coddles her too often (although in some moments, it's shown that she does appreciate him, even though she don't show it). When she meets Lincoln, she tries to act indifferent to him, but as the story goes on, her attitude begins to change for the better when she starts to see him as a devoted friend and later a little brother figure.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: By virtue of Character Development. Loona in canon is a jerk with a bad temper but has a Hidden Heart of Gold. The story keeps these aspects but gradually tones them down once Loona starts bonding with Lincoln.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Only slightly behind Millie for how protective of her pseudo little brother she is.
  • Cool Big Sis: Having somebody look up to her proves to be a good influence on the girl as she realizes she's starting to see Lincoln as the little brother she didn't know she wanted.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Thanks to Lincoln, Loona starts to become a nicer person, becoming less prone to Jerkass moments towards Millie and Moxxie as well as turning into somewhat of a big sister towards Lincoln.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even she thinks Lincoln going to Hell for a crime he didn't commit is messed up. She was also appalled when she thought Blitz had kidnapped Lincoln until she learned the full story.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Lincoln's lack of any dirty little secrets and overall kindness genuinely weirds her out.
  • Foil: To not one, but two other big sister figures in Lincoln's life.
    • To Luna Loud, Lincoln's older (and favorite) biological sister. Luna is much more friendly and outgoing than the surly, short-tempered, introverted Loona; she's a lesbian while Loona is straight (or at least bisexual); and Loona embodies the more depressed side of the goth stereotype whereas Luna is a Perky Goth. The one thing they have in common is a close relationship with Lincoln.
    • To Octavia. Both are close to Lincoln, but Octavia grew up rich and was initially a cheerful girl until the stress of her parents' imploding marriage made her bitter and surly; whereas Loona grew up poor and has always been standoffish. Both have embarrassing dads they have mixed relationships with, but Octavia can show affection for Stolas much more easily than Loona can towards Blitz. Loona is also more of a protective older sister figure to Lincoln, whereas Octavia clings to him almost like a favorite teddy bear for emotional support, even having to be saved by him at least twice.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She's rough, foul-mouthed, and cynical, but she does have a soft side to her that, thanks to Lincoln, she starts showing more openly.
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted; it's lampshaded a couple times that Loona shares the same name (albeit with a more unusual spelling) with one of Lincoln's sisters.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: In Chapter 11, Loona is too busy on her phone to react to Blitz' whistle (unaware that he was in danger at the time), but the second she hears Lincoln's cry for help, she immediately puts the phone away. This is the first sign that shows just how much she's grown to care about the kid.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Thanks to Lincoln, Loona is becoming a nicer person.

Relatives

     Millie's Family
Relatives of Millie who resides in the Wrath Ring who wastes no time accepting Lincoln as one of their own. The family is comprised of: Joe and Lin, Millie's parents who accepts Lincoln as their grandson, four unnamed brothers who calls him nephew and Sallie May, Millie's sister who is a transgender female and establishes herself as Lincoln's "Auntie".
  • Good Grandparents: Millie's parents take a shine to Lincoln just as fast as their daughter does and wastes no time making him feel at home.

Ars Goetia

     Stolas
An owl demon prince of the Ars Goetia. He gives Blitzø the grimoire to start his business in exchange for a one-night stand and as a result, is deeply infatuated with the imp, much to the latter's dismay. It's revealed that Stolas met Blitzo when they were young at a circus on his birthday with his father, King Paimon. He serves as a teacher to Lincoln after learning that the curse also gave him the ability to wield the grimoire. And as expected, he is won over by the boy's compassion, especially at his daughter, Octavia.

  • Heel Realization: After hearing from Lincoln about how he and Blitzø are more similar to each other in ways they aren't proud of, Stolas realizes his treatment and pet names towards the imp probably aren't the best for Blitzø.
  • So Proud of You: Towards his daughter and his student for both excelling in their magic lessons.
     Octavia

Stolas' teenage daughter, Octavia (or "Via" for short) is sullen, moody and has a dry sense of humor, due to her parents constantly fighting over Stolas' infidelity. Despite that, she genuinely loves her father and is afraid of losing him. When she meets Lincoln for the first time, she's initially surprised to see a human residing in Hell and tries to act apathetic towards him, but after having a heart-to-heart talk when they were in Loo Loo Land, they became friends. Their bond deepens even further when she learns about his condition and, just like Loona, acts like a big sister to him, much to her father's delight.

  • Ascended Extra: She's more active in the story compared to her respective show. In canon, she's so far only had two major roles ("Loo Loo Land" and "Seeing Stars") and both revolved around her strained relationship with her father. The story, however, places more focus on her, showing that she's now growing aware of how abusive her mother really is to her father, how she and her father are slowly but surely rebuilding their relationship, and her developing bond with Lincoln.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Just like Loona, Octavia acts akin to a sister to Lincoln, with them bonding over their respective troubles and hanging out during their free time.
  • Interclass Friendship: Octavia (the daughter of Goetian prince Stolas) ends up becoming good friends with Lincoln (an unpaid intern working for I.M.P.) after the events of "Loo Loo Land".
     Stella
Stolas's wife and Octavia's mother. A member of Goetia royalty, she is very incensed about her husband's infidelity, especially with an imp, whom she views as lower beings. She also has a very nasty personality and often belittles her husband every chance she gets. As the story progresses, her anger increases to the point that she moves out of the mansion as well as hiring an assassin (Striker) to kill her husband. She is currently unaware of Lincoln's presence in Hell or the fact that her husband took him as a student, at least for now...
  • Jerkass: She's not pleasant to be around, to say the least.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Stolas is insistent that Stella must never know of Lincoln's existence, since knowing her, there's a likely chance she'll rat him out to Hell's higher ups. Striker is withholding information about Lincoln from her due to having his own plans.

Verosika and Crew

    General
A group of succubae and incubae, led by pop-singer Verosika Mayday.
  • Ascended Extra: Verosika's crew has very little character in canon, and in OZZIE's both Verosika and her crew are background characters. In the story, they not only have more screentime, but they have much more personality and a bit of development after spending time with Lincoln
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Verosika and her crew aren’t exactly shown to be virtuous in canon. Here, not only do they manage to get along with Lincoln (after a while at least), Verosika and her girls eventually act genuinely sweet towards him when not trying to simply sleep with him.
  • Better the Devil You Know: Lincoln actively tries to avoid them in "OZZIES", but when they find him anyway, he ultimately decides not to run because, while the succubae are very flirtatious towards him, they don't try to outright rape him, whereas every other succubus he's met that night definitely would.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: When two other succubi start to fawn over Lincoln, Verosika and her friends despise it. The narration notes that, they usually wouldn't avoid having more involved, but for "some reason" they hate it.
  • Prehensile Tail: Verosika and her posse use their tails to grab, pick up, wrap around or otherwise show their affection to Lincoln.
  • Virgin Power: Chastity is like a drug to succubae. Lincoln coming into the studio Verosika and her crew were working in was like dumping a big pile of sugar into a beehive. The women waste no time in swarming Lincoln and covering his face with lipstick.
    Verosika Mayday
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/verosika_ref.png
Click here to see her human disguise with Lincoln
A famous succubus popstar and Blitzø's ex-girlfriend. Judging from her constant drinking, it's shown that she's still bitter over the relationship. She is seductive, flirtatious and is prone to getting what she wants when she sets her sights on something. This was the case when she and her crew first met Lincoln. She and her female friends were all over him due to his scent and was planning to make him hers, but after he saves her and her crew from the police at the spring break concert, she starts to develop real romantic feelings for him.
  • Age-Gap Romance: Verosika, a clearly adult woman, develops romantic feelings for Lincoln, a 12-year-old boy. Lincoln's admission that he enjoyed her attention in "Truth Seekers" implies that he may reciprocate.
  • Hidden Depths: We see more of her character in "OZZIE's", where it's shown she desires to be taken seriously as a person rather than a mere lust object. It's part of the reason she grows attached to Lincoln, as he sees her for who see is on the inside rather than the outside.
  • May–December Romance: While it's never stated how old Verosika is, it's pretty obvious that she is much older than Lincoln is and has a crush on him. Though considering how demons age much slower than humans, she might just be willing to wait, and "Truth Seekers" reveals that Lincoln may have feelings for her, too.
  • Never My Fault: In "OZZIE's" she insists that the spring break's fiasco is all Blitzø's fault despite all her posses telling her that taking I.M.P.'s parking space, taking the bet and creating monster fish is entirely her fault and that Blitzø had a minimal part in it. Downplayed, she admits she's guilty later but still thinks that Blitzø is more guilty than her.
  • Succubus in Love: Due to Lincoln's kind and innocent nature, Verosika starts developing actual romantic feelings for him very quickly with the rest of the succubi in the crew becoming just as interested.
  • What Is This Feeling?: Verosika is stunned when Lincoln praises her for saving his life. While she's used to praising humans, it's usually about her looks. Not because she's done something to be thanked over. She can't quite process she's falling for Lincoln for reasons beyond his chastity.
     Coco
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__lincoln_and_coco_by_terrorking10_dgigd0z_414w_2x.jpg

An afro-haired succubus who is part of Verosika's crew, she is Apple's girlfriend and just like Verosika, she too is infatuated with Lincoln, often calling him baby boy.

  • A Threesome Is Hot: Downplayed. She asks Lincoln if he wants her and her girlfriend Apple to be his first kisses.
     Apple
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__cuddling_the_rabbit_by_terrorking10_dfx0emn_pre.jpg

A blonde hair succubus who is Coco's girlfriend. She is the most affectionate towards Lincoln.

  • Dumb Blonde: Although she has her smart moments, Apple does act playfully ditzy and a bit airheaded.
     Milky
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__lincoln_and_milky_by_terrorking10_dfzjqhl_pre.png

A black-haired succubus who is the shortest in the crew and as well attracted to Lincoln and definitely loves to tease him more often than not.

  • Big Beautiful Woman: Sort of. She has more curves than the other succubi but possesses a pear-shaped figure. In chapter 15, Milky is called a "short stack" by another succubus, albeit as an insult to her height.
     Kiki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alad__lincoln_and_kiki_by_terrorking10_dgxctv1.png
A tall blue-haired succubus who is part of Verosika's crew, she's also head over heels for Lincoln, due to his innocence and his scent. She's the most playful around him.
     Ace

A tall black-haired Incubus who is part of Verosika's crew. He and the other Incubus in the group takes an immediate disliking to Lincoln but after Lincoln saves them from the police, he begrudgingly respects him and slowly starts to warm up to the kid.

     Kat

A lanky Incubus who is also part of the group and also indifferent to Lincoln, but now respects him after saving them from the authorities, albeit reluctantly.

  • The Thing That Would Not Leave: During OZZIE'S he's the only member of Verosika's posse that got in illegally, and while drunk, Josh and Ace are stuck with keeping an eye on him.
     Josh

A white hair with black highlights Incubus who is part of the crew. It's implied that he is in a relationship with Ace. He too begrudgingly respects Lincoln after he saves them, but still under the belief that they're not "buds".

  • Oh, Crap!: He has this moment when he realized that Apple and Milky are angry at him for letting Lincoln escape from their grasp and are about to rat him out to Verosika for it.
     Vortex

A hellhound who serves as a bodyguard for Verosika. Despite his intimidating appearance he's actually chill and friendly but not afraid to break a few noses who comes near his boss. He becomes friends with Loona (with the latter had a crush, only to find out that he's already has a girlfriend) and Lincoln who he genuinely respects after he saves him and the crew from the police.

Targets

He fled afterwards and reported his failure to Stella but proclaims that he will kill Stolas at the next opportunity. It's also shown he may have a hidden agenda for Lincoln.

  • Evil Is Petty: When having Lincoln at his mercy, Striker threatens not just to kill I.M.P and Stolas, but also to use Stolas' grimoire to track down Lincoln's biological family and kill them too. All for no reason other than to spite the poor boy.

While he was not aware of Lincoln's presence in the restaurant, Lincoln surprisingly entered his mind and more surprisingly scared him when he mocked Moxxie's love song, leaving the King of Lust trembling and wondering where the powerful presence came from.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: He demeans Moxxie's love song to Millie, but that's because the club they're at revolves around lust. He even gives Moxxie multiple chances to get with the atmosphere, when any real club owner would have kicked him out.
  • Adaptational Karma: After mocking Moxxie for his love song to Millie, and humilating Blitz and Stolas, Lincoln pulls a mind rape on Asmodeous: calling him out on his hypocrisy, making a visage of Fizzarolli disintegrate infront of him, and then attacking him with a projection of his true demonic form.
