I know it's a famous song, but does it need its own page? o_o

SheezusQueen has twice pulled the same Unfortunate Implications entry from YMMV.Taylor Swift with no edit reason, despite them having citations.
One of the entries was pulled in November by Haruka 69, who almost assuredly is the same person.

Question: Would behind-the-scenes stuff about bands go under Music or Real Life? I was under the impression that it'd be real life, and Music is for the content of their songs, but on Overshadowed by Awesome someone made a move to the opposite.
And speaking of that page, it's indexed as YMMV but there's no banner. So is it YMMV or no?

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=YMMV.Hyuna was the last edit reason re: Crowning Moment Of Awesome and the song "Oppa Is Just My Style" good or no?
Basically whoever started the YMMV page for Hyuna listed the success of that song as an Awesome Moment, then another troper added a sub-bullet underneath which started off with "your mileage MAY vary" and mentioned how it got a lot of negative reviews. For the sake of cleaning up the page I edited that sub-bullet out and said in my edit reason there's no point in saying that in the YMMV section since everything there is already subjective. Then the troper edited the example out altogether with their edit reason saying it's not successful because "popular opinion was VERY negative, especially from international fans".
Firstly I don't know if the example was legit in the first place (is talking about the success of a song allowed to be counted as an Awesome Moment?) since it lacked context anyways (which I did fix in my edit). I only edited it for cleaning up at the time, so fine with me if the example isn't allowed and axed. If it still counts, then there was no point in that troper making that edit + edit reason, was there? Since bad reception is a subjective/audience reaction thing and doesn't affect how "successful/popular" it actually was (which is also subjective). But do correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't know if me editing that example again counts as starting an edit war which is why I'm laying off for the moment. But yeah, good/bad edit reason, good/bad example?

New query: Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK) is a kpop boyband that once had 5 members but 3 members left in 2009 and have formed another boyband called JYJ. Should tropes that relate to JYJ post-DBSK-departure still be on the Dong Bang Shin Ki page? Because tropers (or this one troper that's been editing it recently) keep treating the Dong Bang Shin Ki page like it refers to all 5 members. Someone's even made a character page Dong Bang Shin Ki for all 5 members (and it's filled with No Real Life Examples Please tropes but that's another issue). JYJ don't have their own page yet but it can be made.
Old query: Korean Pop Music index - how to clean up (I'm assuming it should be cleaned up)?
1) Remove all descriptions + group soloists and subunits (however there are a few subunits/soloists that have their own page whereas their own groups don't eg. HyunA of 4minute, so they'll have to be left intact). 2) Remove all descriptions, leave in group soloists and subunits' names only. 3) Leave in group soloists and subunits' names only, remove/reduce most descriptions and leave in selected info (eg. disbandment, inactivity).

Should the individual musician descriptions on the Korean Pop Music index be cut/reduced?
It was in a similar state when I first saw it as an editor so I took it in stride (and joined in the habit a few times) at first, but now I'm concerned it looks messy especially since it's supposed to be an index. I could understand mentioning subunits/soloists at the most, but I don't think it's necessary to mention things like lineup changes, "noteworthy" siblings and "this idol played this guy in this drama".
It's been nagging me and I've been desperate to do [another] cleanup but I don't want to be rash so I need people's advice/thoughts.

Is there a reason NWOBHM can't be redirected to New Wave of British Heavy Metal? The only reason I can think of that this might not be a good idea is that Darkthrone has an EP titled NWOBHM, but I don't foresee a page being made for that work, especially considering that their most famous albums don't even have them yet. I can't think of any other initialism that is likely to fall under "NWOBHM", and it's a pain to have to type the entire phrase out every time I want to redirect to the page.

On the subject of "always explain the example"...there's a ykktw "Driving Song" that is almost 100% ZCE. Practically every example is
- Artist, "Name of Song"
Maybe a mod could drop in and say something.
Unless the general consensus is that "Name of Song" is adequate context, in which case please tell me I'm wrong.

I would like some guidance/help on articles related to The Beatles, namely, their 13 studio albums. There used to be a simple main page for The Beatles listing tropes in their work. Somebody took the trouble to actually make out work pages for each Beatles album and list the tropes associated with said album on said page.
Now what drew my attention when I looked at these pages was that the track listing was just that, a simple list of tracks—for example, The White Album had a listing of songs, 1-30. As everybody knows, The Beatles first issued all of their albums as just that, albums, namely phonograph records that had two sides, and that this was the main way of purchasing these works for 20-25 years until the advent of CDs. So I took the initiative of breaking up the track listings into sides, listing what songs are on Side One and Side Two (or in the case of the White Album, sides One, Two, Three, and Four).
I did this for the last few Beatles albums. A troper name "bluesno1fann" then deleted the "Side One" and "Side Two" entries. Yesterday I added "Side One" and "Side Two" entries for all thirteen Beatles albums. bluesno1fann then deleted my entries again.
I think this is useful entry for the wiki. First, it reflects how the Beatles' records were originally released. Second, it's a usage that one will find in other places: note the track listing for the White Album at The Other Wiki, broken up into four sides. Third, the arrangement of songs on Beatles albums was not random. Observe that Side One of Abbey Road has six standalone songs while Side Two has all the song fragments that were put together to make the medley. Side Two of The White Album has most of the love ballads while Side Three has most of the hard rock songs. Side One of Yellow Submarine has the actual Beatles songs while Side Two is Martin's orchestral score. Side One of Magical Mystery Tour is the songs in the TV movie while Side Two is the Beatles' 1967 singles.
Anyway, this seems to be useful info to me. I request input.

I've noticed the existence of an index or Roger Ebert's list of films he recommends. I like this page, especially because when you stumble upon a film page it's a delight to see that that particular film was one of his favorites. It also makes it more interesting for other people to find out more about the film.
Now, I stumbled upon a page with radio presenter John Peel's Top 20 favorite music albums. I also found a similar list with Kurt Cobain's Top 50 albums. I was planning on creating a separate index page for these lists, so that the albums listed on them are indexed along with it, just like the list of Ebert's personal favorite films.
But then I wondered: would this be O.K? Because Ebert is a movie critic with international acclaim whose list of favorite films is absolutely interesting. Peel was a British radio presenter with enormous stature in his home country and especially in the field of giving alternative rock bands a chance. Cobain is certainly an important rock musician, but he is , so far, the only musician of whom I found such a Top Albums list. I've already searched for similar album lists by renowned music critics like Greil Marcus or Richard Meltzer, but haven't found them yet.
I wondered if there is a certain policy on creating an index page for such lists? Should we only allow lists by professional critics and/or musicians in the field? Because I also found a list of Chris Rock (a comedian)'s 20 favorite rap albums. Very interesting, but then we might get an overabundance of just about any celebrity's favorite art works lists. I don't have a particular strong opinion on this, so I just want to hear what other tropers think?

Want to check before I add some examples: Album Single has absolutely nothing on it. The page is two years old, according to the history at least, and has never had examples. It's a stub at the moment but one that can be easily cross-wicked with a little effort.
It's not example-less for any reason right? Needs Wiki Magic rather than a cut or a lock? Not an Omnipresent Trope for music?

Haruka69 keeps deleting a cited Unfortunate Implication from YMMV.Taylor Swift without leaving a reason for deletion.
Going through their other edits, there's some grammatical issues as well (not putting album titles in any sort of markup, and almost never using closing punctuation, plus many spelling errors).

On the Music DMoS page, do live performances count as real life examples?

I've been doing some basic edits on the page for the Japanese Visual Kei band D. They've got a pretty expansive discography and there's roughly a million tropes that apply. This is all well and good, but I'm not sure what to do with a particular bit of their career. This band has an INCREDIBLY expansive Vampire Saga that threads all through their music, with specific characters and costumes and stories and songs and videos that stand completely independent from the rest of their music and videos. Adding all the tropes about the band, AND their regular music, AND their Vampire Saga makes for a very, very cluttered page. Should I make a subpage or entirely new page for just the Vampire Saga, or should I make a separate folder within the main tropes page? I stress again — this is a seriously, massively expansive story with a coherent plot and characters.

The troper m8e has been blindly adding links to music-related lists at a fairly brisk pace; few of the links that said troper has made lead to actual pages, thereby creating a sea of redlinks. I sent the troper a private message asking them to refrain from doing so any further unless they were prepared to create a page for every single redlink (which is not at all feasible) and was evidently ignored when they did it to another music list. Would anyone with authority be willing to revert that troper's bad edits and have a talk with them about why they shouldn't do that? I assumed simple ignorance on m8e's part at first, but after they blew off my PM, I have reason to believe that they just don't care.

YMMV.One Direction has been almost completely eliminated.
Was there an anti-flame bait repair effort that I'm not aware of?
Hey,
if someone has some time to spare they might want to clean out all the personal life examples from Kesha. Thanks!
